Hostel Boudnik Hostel

We in August, good option if booking on last minute or for cheaper options, air-conditioning or fans available in half of the rooms, poorly ventilated rooms. Also, Wi-Fi is too slow, doesn’t work at half of the time. Even there was electricity fault at one of the floor during my stay, nothing was working for over an hour. Good option only if you are looking for a cheap bed or last minute option.

Very clean and well organised hostel. The staff were lovely and helpful. Dorms were spacious with a bathroom and kitchenette on each floor and there's a communal courtyard which is nice. Good location, near a supermarket and easy to get to the city centre.

Awesome hostel! Very clean and staff were super friendly (Clara and Adahn? ). Met a lot of cool people! Close to local train station and beer for sale too which is a plus.

Great experience! The staff were nice, it has a good atmosphere, lots of young people and is located close to the tram which brings you into the city centre. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Make sure to bring your own towels though and the kitchen is quite small.

The train station is 15 minutes on foot, ten minutes to ace Florence and the metro station.

Stayed there last year was really good met alot of people and had fun rooms are big was in a room with around 17 people no problems with security or sleep not for everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Nice hostel for short stay. All amenities available like laundry, kitchen etc.

The hostel is decent but as always there are several but. Can settle on the fourth floor, steps steep, Zahaykaeshsya. And the center is not close.

I stayed in a 4-room room. The price performance ratio is right. The décor is nice, there is a balcony for sunbathing and it is very pleasant to be located outside the tourist center.

Took 2700 for 4 days. Pros: 1) cheap.
2) close to transport and shops.
3) Clean linen, tolerant mattresses and pillows.
4) There are tea and coffee which can be borrowed in unlimited quantity. The bathroom has soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
5) Pretty clean.
6) Normal internet.
Cons: 1) Eternal roulette with neighbors. Drunk Arabs, noisy Asians and stuff.
2) It is noisy, hard to fall asleep. Always someone laughs, says, tossing on creaky bed.
Good breakfast. Continental version, with a minimum set of products.
4) Minimum set of services. Parking, washing machine and everything.
5) Indifferent staff. They fulfill the minimum, ask to solve any problem to themselves more expensive.
I am the first time in a hostel and I do not like. But if you try to be objective, you can spend the night here.

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for this hostel. Wish I could be objective but the staff have made it impossible for my friend and me to stay there by cancelling our reservation TWICE, even after I sent them a special request asking them not to charge my card (since my bank has specific security settings and my card cannot be charged without a pin). I was going to pay cash, but was unable to do so since they decided to ignore my request. I have already arranged plans around my stay at this hostel, and now, a week closer to the dates of my trip, I have to spend more time looking for another option nearby at a higher cost. Maybe I'm wrong, but to me it looks like these people have forgotten what hospitality is, and only care about their bank statements. Really shameful 0/10 : (

Good location and reception welcomes with smile. Breakfast is availabe. It's clean.

Stayed in a 5 bed dorm. The bed was very saggy, and the room too warm at night. Common areas seemed nice. Breakfast was basic.

Everything OK there is one flaw. Very small bathrooms, there are 2 each floor: One with WC, sink and shower without key, and the other with a tiny sink in which you can not wash your hands because we do not enter. If you improve them is a good structure.

It has good location and too close to the bus station. You can walk every where here. Staff is kind and place is very clean.

Great place to meet people and enjoy local bars, hostel is decorated in vintage czech style, it has friendly staff and 24hrs reception, which is very convenient, also clean rooms and lockers for each bed. With food — they serve cheap and good breakfast and there is plenty cheap restaurants around to dine out. We couldn't resist to try lovely craft beers from small breweries which are sold directly at the reception, and one tip — don't be lazy and go to the view park close to the hostel — Vitkov Hill — you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the city :)

O Most of them are flat-screen shops with their own bedside cabinets and walkways, which is very special.
The x mixed room is about 20 beds and is a bit multi-person. Reasonable value on weekdays one night 150kc, Holiday 250kc. The key doesn't have a deposit.

Whatever you do, do NOT go here! We had booked a twin room and specified in the request box to have a twin room. When we arrived we were told to wait as check in couldn't be done at 2 pm after all. When we finally COULD check in at 3 pm I confirmed with the young girl that it was a twin room — she said yes. We got to the room to find a double bed. We went back down and said we had booked a twin room and the girl actually asked what a twin room is. Can't believe she didn't know what a twin room was! The manager came and told us there was nothing he could do. He actually said that just because we booked a twin room doesn't mean we would get it. I have never experienced a manager so rude before. We ended up getting our money back and we left. No way were we gonna stay in such a cold and unfriendly place. I do NOT recommend this place.

Nice, very cozy, close to public transport.

It was a decent place to stay for one night. It was loud and the room we were in was connected to another one so people had to walk through are room to get to there's. Staff were very friendly and it's a very short tram ride to the center. Showers were what you would expect from a hostel. Don't expect anything special. Good only for one or two nights.

Pretty much everthing was ok but the shower curtains were not really clean and the toilet didn't flush the last day.

Comfortable and nice person. Quote well cleaned up. Good location with lot of public transportation.

Essential as are the hostels. The thin walls let a bit of noise pass. Overall the property is nice for a hit and run trip and the proximity to the tram stop allows you to be in Wenceslas Square in 10-15 minutes.

Rooms are nice, we had a private double, very spacious and comfortable. Can be quite noisy outside in the morning etc, but not at an ungodly hour so it's not really a problem. Pretty courtyard where you can chill. Some of the staff are helpful. None of the girls showers had working stands so you have to hold the shower head, not the worst but a little annoying.

Nice rooms, everything is clean and all the resources you could possibly need during your stay are avaible. Close to the old town centre (walking distance + — 1.5 km) and tram (very) nearby. Parking was pretty far from the hostel, around 900m, and wasn't very well guarded, though I wouldn't worry to much about that in Praha.

As someone backpacking through Europe, Hostel Boudnik was one of my very favorite hostels. Very affordable, in Prague 3 which is more industrial with cool places to go and close to both the central bus and train stations, and the staff were the friendliest I've met so far — — they helped me plan a trip to Kutna Hora, printed out a bus ticket for me, even helped me fix my phone! A great medium-sized hostel that is easy to meet fellow solo travelers with comfortable beds and a good patio area. Bathroom is shared for the floor though there are extra bathrooms on the 1st floor which is single gender. Free coffee and tea all day & free Sunday breakfast is perfect. Highly recommend for low-maintenance, budget travelers!

Well, I stayed in the ladies' room. A very good experience! The beds are comfortable and, not too close. So one has privacy. Also good, each bed has a lamp, and plugins. Nothing more to wish, Internet is quick. Besides, super-clean. Simply, super, clean. Showers, a lot, and toilettes also several, in the same level. So never a problem, never had to wait. — Downstairs the big room for everybody, which is fine, if want to stay awake, just go there, also have tea and a kitchen. — Very, very convenient the 24/7 reception. Everybody there was very helpful and nice, a fun to talk. Well 24/7 so to say have a nice conversation if liked :). — I enjoyed it very much. — Location, very simple, by bus a few min. From the center, and the bus seems to run all night. Or long enough, and every at least 15 min. It was one of the best experiences I had traveling Europe. And have met very nice people there. So hope to be back there, in beautiful Praha :)

It is a good place to stay in Prague. Some good things I'd point are: — good location (near main train station) — general cleanliness (sometimes you can find a wet floor in the bathroom or something out of place, but can't blame them because of guests behaviors. They do a good work keeping everything clean) — comfortable beds. I stayed one night on Vladimir room (4th floor) and it was very pleasing. Soft mattress and the bedding smells good too. — good breakfast. For 3 euros they offer a good selection of food and drinks. I do recommend it as most of the other places nearby are expensive.

Well, furniture and the building is not as modern as in other hostels but therefor everything is in very good condition. The beds which reminds a bit of soviet military stuff are surprisingly very comfortable. The building itself is very big with 4 floors. Two floors only have one toilette and one shower but the other ones have each a big bathroom with many toiletts and seperated showers. Each floor has a little kitchen but no oven… only some hot plates. Downstairs you have a living and dining room where you get little breakfest FOR FREE every day. Also the hostel is very clean. Roommates are cleaning the rooms and the hole building each morning. The staff is very friendly. To walk to the main city you need about 15-25 min. But you can also take the tram situated near the hostel. Dont forget that the good thing about the distance to the main city is that everything is cheaper in this quarter because there are less tourists and that you can experience more real czech lifestyle than in the tourist crowded inner city!

Lovley hostel close to prague coach station. The dorms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Beds are great value for money. However if you are looking for a hostel near the the centre of town close to bard and restaurants you may want to stay in old town.

Very nice place. Comfortable, offers breakfast, have a few kitchens, and they have a very nice terrace. Every bed has their own shelf which is nice. I stayed here one week and I would definitely go back!

It's very nice and most important clean hostel. They provide little snacks and breakfast for free, which is really sweet and also few essentials in kitchen for everyone to cook. Had nice experience.

A decent place to sleep. Accept cards. Great location probably the best Žižkov district of Prague for entertainment. Within walking distance of a huge number of beer and not only institutions.

It is fair enough to the prague bus station, cheap and at the same time very clean and have good security, furnitures. The receptionists are very helpful and every day simple breakfast free but sunday there is whole breakfast for free.

What an incredible place to stay in Prague! Honestly the best hostel in town. Plenty of facilities, cleaned very regularly, spacious, views, Wi-Fi, free coffee and breakfast! All that you need and want for great value!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern feel, very clean. Kitchenettes are well stocked and clean. Location is close to a lot of non-touristy bars and restaurants.

Facility was nice but couldn't sleep all night because of two people sleeping next to me who snored like jet planes.

Worth staying. If full elf hostel close by more of party scene.

Great staff. They were really helpfull and knew all the great places in Prague. The place is cheap, well-located and clean. Had a great time.

I loved the location! It is just a one tram stop from Hlavni nadrazi and three from Vaclavske namesti, and the surroundings are great — a residential area with character;-) calm street next to a green square, lots of eateries, drinking spots and a few exciting send-hands nearby.

I only stayed a night however the staff were really nice, helpful and they really made me feel at home! The place is clean and comfortable and more significantly, its cheaper than the Elf Hostel just down the road. I got breakfast included in the price aswell.

Excellent hostel and great service! The price was very reasonable, considering how much was offered. The rooms were very cozy, and beds were extremely comfortable — perfect after a long day's worth of visiting/partying in Prague! The hostel attracts very friendly people too — we had helpful and kind people staying with us in the rooms. Additionally, there was breakfast in the morning! The hostel is also located only three tram stops away from the city centre, and the front-desk staff was very helpful in informing us everything about Prague! Definitely a wonderful place to stay, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a full (and comfortable) experience of Prague.
