Chili Hostel Hostel

Good location of the hostel near to the Charles Bridge, and about 7 minutes walking to reach the metro stations. The lighting there is always dim which is not always my type of lighting. The place is an old building turned into a hostel. The cleanliness is questionable, I've only seen a worker cleaning the kitchen, haven't seen anyone cleaning the bathrooms. We booked a twin room and got a room with 4 single beds (Idk why) and the charge was very expensive compared to the facilities and the furniture. The room had no mirror, no fan or AC and no private bathroom. Our room no. Was 26 on the second floor and it had a nice view from the big window. When you receive the key they give you one for the room and one for the door outside the room which contains our room and other dorms. There was two sinks and a mirror in the hallway of this room. And one toilet, one shower and one bath with both toilet and shower. The toilet is the size of a matchstick box. There was no tissues so you have to bring your own. The kitchen had messy shelves and fridge but contained a microwave, stove, pots, plates and sinks. The workers are friendly and they also sell drinks and have flyers for different activities.

A perfect place to stay if you want to be near the old town… Quirky old house has a great feel to it… friendly staff and clean accommodation.

You will get what you paid for. At the reception were really kind. If you want to stay here for one or two nights, it is perfect place. For longer stay, you need to count with some party people and quite high temperature in room during summer. Entrance is kind of hidden, so you need to pay attention to find it. Hostel is close to center.

It's a very cozy place. It's clean enough. There is a small shop nearby. Very close to the waterfront.

I got a double bed room which with 2 bunk beds for 2 of us. Slept well on both nights. Nice comfortable room with lots of wind. Clean shared bathrooms and toilets… no problem with sharing. Excellent English speaking staff. Very friendly. It's a hostel, must adapt to environment. Good price, location easy access to food, drinks, mini-marts.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe über das Wochenende im Chilli Hostel. Das Hostel an sich ist wirklich sehr zum weiterempfehlen. Nettes Personal die 24/7 an der Rezeption sind, wo man immer was nachfragen oder Kleinigkeiten kaufen kann. Das Wlan ist im Punkt Reichweite sehr gut aber wenn mehrere Personen sich in einer Area einloggen geht meisten fast nix mehr. Die Zimmer sind von der Größe echt perfekt, sodass auch mehrere Leute als sonst reinpassen. Eine Dusche oder Toilette ist auch immer frei, wenn man in den einzelnen Stockwerken herumgeht, obwohl die Sauberkeit manchmal eher ausreichend ist. Man lernt im Hostel auf jeden Fall viele Leute aus verschieden Ländern kennen die Nett. Party lustig sind und einiges geht ;) Was man bedenken muss ist, dass das Hostel nicht im Zentrum von Prag liegt. Bars. Locales. Supermärkte usw. Sind im Umkreis von 50 schon vorhanden aber für die Clubs muss man einen längeren Weg antreten. Das gleich gilt auch wenn man die Sehenswürdigkeiten anschauen will.

Hostel divorce, booking payment is not accepted. All that you have to forget. Price hostel will be different when you pay by card nakiduût 4% on top. Security deposit for the keys only in CZK. Per key 3 300 CZK. The money for the payment of the booking do not return. Check-in after only 14.30 that does not conform to the description.

The location is good but there were a lot of things that were more than usatisfactory. We paid for a 10 people room but we stayed în a 12 people room. There was a lot of noise. There is a church nearby and on Sunday the bells ring for 15 minutes. The interior is old and not very clean. They don t change the sheets. Some bathrooms are really really small. It was unbelievable. Worst hostel experince ever! Do not go there!

Beware of images you see! I was really dissatisfied, no cleaning, room that looked like an old abandoned house with mold and dust everywhere! We hope that at least the sheets and pillowcases of pillows prior to our arrival has changed …

Don't believe General has treated review. The hotel svoeobraznyi. Many do not understand the students in the lobby and on the floors. Internet only at the reception. Removed the double room with shower. The room is clean. Documents and important things must pass at the reception in the safe. Probably all the same hotel for nonconformists and students. The hotel has many rooms where I live for 10 people with shared shower and toilet. On the ground floor wanted to copy from the phone to the flash drive files. The components were apparently tired worked slowly. But while first impressions are) ) )

No plugs, bed bugs, horrible stench but quite nice with sweet kitchen area.

Not enough even for that price. We paid for a double room and instead they gave us an 8bed room. Luckily two of them were together, but impossible to sleep. The maitresses were separated by a hole of 10cm more or less. Furthermore the pillows and sleeping bag were terribly dirty. There were only two toilets (one shower&toilet, one tiny toilet and another shower) so you always have to wait. Most of the times there were no toilet paper and have to go to the other one. It could have been much more clean too. In the positive side, there was a good environment with other guests and the location was great. I wouldn't come back neither recommend it.

Good morning, my husband and I share our experience at your hostel as follows: reception not friendly to us Italians, perhaps due to the fact that we didn't know your languages. Living room comparable to a cellar of salami and hams. Rooms to be still good in describing them horrible, unpleasant surprises in the bathrooms in the rooms only cleaning sanitary igeni when guests are leaving. Hostel practically be entrusted to a real company grapples. Yours faithfully and not goodbye.

Went second time there. Mainly it's value for that money. What do you expect at that price? It's great located close to the old town so great if ure just spending the weekend get wasted and just park your body somewhere. But but to live a decent life for a week it's kinda hard always to wait for toilet or share floor with party people every night, there seams to be a often problem with room mistakes. We also paid for 2 person room and got a 8 person room just for us 2. At a price for 2 beds but a huge difference of comfort. After we complained about it they were nice and gave us the type of room we paid for. I noticed you have to ask for some things that u normally should get automatically at check-in like bed sheets, towels. Quite ok staff. Very inappropriate checkout time. If u spent your night partying until the morning, waking up and leaving at 10 am is heartbreaking.

Don't go there! I don't recommend this place — we payed for the room on line (2 person) 140 euro and when we arrived they told us that that was 'mistake' on the page and we have to pay 140 euro per person, that was New Years Eve — they said it is 'special price' but the true is that they knew that on NEY hostels are full so we don't have a choice. But actually we went to the first nearest hotel and we found a room for 2 that cost in total 150 euro in the 4 star hotel with breakfast.

Stayed for 3 nigths but we were deeply disappointed in this filthy place. No internet connection in the room, broken door on the toilet, no cups in the "kitchen". However it sounds like not big deal it can make bad impact on your holliday time. We 've been to few hostels in Budapest (similar location, similar cost) so we can tell you that this one is NIGHTMARE! The only positive issue was great location as it only takes 10-15 minutes to Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square or Old Town Square and basicly you don't need to use the tram or tube. Otherwise Prague is absolutely fantastic city that worth time to visit.

The worst hostel I ever was in my life. Never again. Service was below ground: 1. We arrived at 6:00 there, because the guy at the front desk said that he answered no questions us, only from 7:00.2. We had booked 2 nights. On the second day, we had to move directly into another room what we learned only by chance (at 10:00, we must be out at 11:00 from the old room). Came in a still occupied rooms from the people but are pulled out until the evening, but which was not cleaned (by accident we have found also that our 1st room was not even covered in the 2nd night). 3. We were 24 people, could pay but not individually. And especially not with map, because otherwise one would have to pay the entire Bill. In addition there were too few showers and toilets (in our area just 1 room both for approx. 20 persons). The beds were not only disgusting, but almost no longer exists in the middle. I've never been on such a bad bed. The only positive thing I can say about the hostel, is that it has a good location.

I had a great time in Chili! It is about 15 minutes (on foot) away from Old town square (the centre of Prague), so you can easily walk to the heart of the city (old town). It is one of the cheapest hostel's so close to the centre. The staff was very polite and friendly, we didn't have any thefts, the room was renovated (small but very modern bathroom and toilet, strange but cool walls, roof and decoration, similar to a cellar's) but it was in the basement and didn't have windows, so no sun, only lights :p, which was kinda strange as you didn't have the sense of time. That was the room's main disadvantage.

Prices are good, but there could be a few more bathrooms, the Lobby is large and cozy and you can have 4 PC free use in addition there is also Wi-Fi if needed, can a kitchen be used.

Chili hostel cheepest for tourst and visiter parson. I like it and I parfer always chili hostel prague. Czech Republic.

It is a very large hostel and there are young people of all the sites. Perfect in my opinion.
