Botel Vodnik

Wonderful stay for two nioghts in Prague, the staff is absoltely great and many thanks to Lourdes she helped us out with visiting great sights in Prague. The hotel is very close tompublic transportation, just half a click away, tram, subway and buses. There even is a little ferry 10 minute walk from th hotel.
Breaks was very good also. We had a great stay.

A floating slice of old-school Prague charm.
I stayed at Botel Vodnik earlier this year, and it’s a stay I’ll remember fondly.
This is not your typical chain hotel, it’s a boat, anchored right on the river, with an unbeatable view across to Vyšehrad. In the mornings, you can sit on the top deck with your coffee or a smoke and hear the cathedral bells ringing over the water a truly magical Prague moment.
The location is fantastic: tram, metro, train, everything is just steps away. It’s the kind of spot where you feel connected to the city but slightly off the tourist track, which I loved.
Inside, the place has real character; old photos of Prague in the hallways, a feeling of history in the air. It’s clean, tidy, and welcoming a place with soul, not sterile polish. The breakfast was very enjoyable, and the riverside dining room adds to the experience.
And above all, the staff. Genuinely warm and helpful people who made my stay smooth and pleasant from start to finish.
Places like this are rare to find these days, affordable, authentic, and full of heart. Highly recommended if you want a stay that feels like your own little story in Prague, not just another night in a generic room.

The great value for money. Good location. Nice view from other site not my… it's close to Metro and terrace outside with great view. Very cozy inside. It's not modern high standard finish but still worth it to see.

Great value for money! The receptionist at night (a man from central Asia) is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast recommended. Nice view. Spacious and very clean room. Will definitely stay again.

The breakfast here is great and it's fun staying on a boat, but the room we had was way to hot. The air conditioning couldn't keep up with the temperature. Outside was about 30 degrees for a couple of days and the room was about 35! It was super hot during the night and too hot to be in during the day. It had air conditioning but it didn't really work.

Pleasantly veceral seating, barbecue, accommodation and ranching luxury. Sincerely Poprad🙂👌

We were extremely satisfied with the service when organizing the event. The staff is very nice, accommodating and helpful. Cuisine excellent. The beautiful setting of the rooms and terrace was a great setting for new ideas. Thanks!
