Hotel Opera

I stayed here for two nights on my way to and back from Vienna and had great rest both of those times. Hotel Opera has very good location: walking distance from bus station and the metro "Florenc" (from where you can get both to central railway station and further metro connections to explore the city). Notwithstanding the construction works at and around the mentioned stations, it was fairly easy to get to the hotel. Due to the location it is also easy to get to the historical city center on foot. The rooms are comfortable, pretty, with good ventilation and spacious bathrooms. Very nice bathroom products! I liked the breakfast too. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you, I hope to return to Prague and stay at Hotel Opera again!

The hotel was scrupulously clean.
Breakfast was varied and appetising although cooked breakfast wasn’t hot enough.
A minor point (no English Breakfast tea). Take your own.
Reception staff were very helpful. Fairly local. More than a 5 minute walk to the town more like 20 minutes to the Old Town, but a good location nevertheless!
Overall very pleased!

Amazing hotel… Only 10 mins walk to old town. Very clean, staff polite and helpful. Hotel has character and perfect for the city. Breakfast was included which other hotels we stayed in wanted £20… didnt bother us but you have to pay for clothes to be iron none in room. 10/10

Alright but not enough for the price.
Positives: some nice old town vibes, pretty lobby, a quiet room.
Negatives: hot tub was insanely expensive to use — 15€ per person per hour. Room had some mold on the shower and on the bedroom ceiling. Breakfast was a bit gross — older meat, melted cheese, flies around the buffet.
If this hotel was half the price and the hottub and sauna were free or 5€ per person an hour, it would be worth it.
Service was not bad but not good.
Parking nearby was 8€ per day, but close.
Neighbourhood isn't pretty at this part of Prague.
Felt like it used to be super lovely and fancy, but feels like no one has taken care of it in years. Fading paint, different shades of colour on different walls in the same room.

Booked this hotel for a couple of nights for a group of friends. The hotel provided a friendly welcome and efficient check in process. The rooms were a decent size with a decent bathroom with modern fittings. The rooms were very clean, had a safe, fridge, decent TV, desk and chair and comfortable bed. The windows were modern and effective at blocking noise. Breakfast was very comprehensive with hot and cold options. The location is great about 10 minutes walk from the centre of old town, so away from the bustle. I would definitely stay here again.

Were at the beginning of January 2011. The 4 star pulls no, more like 3 plus. The reception understand Russian, but speak Russian categorically does not wish Internet under the stairs in a kennel and on space rate, call the city a pleasure to pay. Breakfast-not Shine, the standard for hotels, 3 star, but it 4ka. Wanted more diversity. Bathrobes brought only when requested and in conclusion — it turned out that we have the hotel's 240 CZK, while the mini bar is not touched, and to explain, what for to us the reception could not have and that is ALL. We have not paid, but not nice.
