Located close to all major sights with Tram stops just around the corner. Has good amenities, good breakfast too. Staffs are all welcoming.

InterContinental is the Prague hotel we stayed at on our first, most romantic trip to Prague) … That's why I have the same impressions about him — the most romantic. Old fashioned? No! Vintage! Like Prague itself) ). With the spirit (not the smell) ) of time. Have you noticed that at a huge gathering of people in Prague there is never a sense of fuss, hustle?! And there is a feeling of a smooth flow of time. We also felt in the hotel (and the room) ), returning after long walks in Prague, Karlov Varam, Kutnaya Mountain. As a continuation of these walks, this attitude. VERY good gtsinica! And (not unimportantly) — in the most historic center of Prague.

The spa was lovely and the service there was excellent! The massage therapist definitely knew way she was doing and they made sure to keep us well pampered… The afternoon tea (whilst delicious) was wrongly advertised: it was listed online as including unlimited tea and coffee, however when it came to us ordering, we were told we would only get one drink each — we pointed out the website and were met with rudeness and told "we've changed it, so it doesn't count". This experience was topped off by a 40 minute wait for afternoon tea, slow service overall and rude staff. Would recommend the food, would not recommend anything else.

Incredible hotel. Gorgeous room, beautiful bathroom and set right by the river which was the view we were fortunate enough to enjoy from our room. Service and staff were incredible and all our needs were met quickly and efficiently. We used room service once which was also really good — the food was delicious and it arrived promptly. This hotel was the most luxurious I've stayed in and hope to return in the future.

Exceptional service. I asked if I could be checked in at 9am and reception did at no additional cost. Very happy w this and the room was large, spotless and bed very comfortable. Aircon temp just right. Room service was terrific. Food standard to a very high quality and came in 15 minutes. I can't fault the hotel. I will return again with the family. Thankyou so much. Exceptional in every way.

This hotel was amazing! The staff were professional and anticipated our needs. The rooms were extremely comfortable as well as lovely. It's location makes it perfect for tourists. We will absolutely stay there next time we are in Prague.

Expensive enough but a good hotel, breakfast included, there is a nice pool.

Excellently located in city center. Fabulous buffet breakfast! We reserved a room for an extra night before our tour and we're able to keep same room for all days in Prague. Clean, friendly service. Only neg was that we couldn't get our room cool enough to sleep under duvet without sweating. Just personal preference.

Aging hotel with good service but all is a bit cold. All services are at least twice the price of what it should be. The gym is poorly located, machines are barely OK, but the pool is great. Was disappointed that the hotel allowed a couple to be in the hot tub naked as small children were around. Location is good — on the river about a 10 min walk to the Charles bridge.

I've been to the restaurant really cool view and quite high end so it's expensive but if youre close by get a coffee they give mini dessert and awesome view!

Best part is very friendly and helpful staff. Other then that, nothing good. Old facilities, dirty carpet, hair dryer didn't work, bulbs out. Even the toaster in the breakfast buffet didn't work. When we asked, we were told that was temporary, broke yesterday. We were there yesterday, same toaster. Guess what, three days later, same toaster. Forget TV. Old sets, no channels. And the ones we did get blotched in and out so couldn't watch anyway. I would avoid unless the location interests you.

Fully meets the demands of a 5 star hotel. Service is very good and the staff very nice and accommodating.

Nice place to stay, but definitely needs a little makeover, especially the spa-area is not a 5-star-standard and you would expect a Nespresso machine in the executive rooms rather than a simple kettle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was okay. What we liked most is the fact that the hotel is located north of the city centre with easy access to all the interesting sights. To the Castle on the Hradschin it is only a twenty minutes walk and when you enter the side entrance in the north through the Royal Gardens there is almost no waiting time. We would also like to recommend the rooftop restaurant 'Zlata' with a spectacular view, fine cuisine and a very friendly service.

There was a restaurant in this hotel. Chic restaurant with unforgettable delicious dishes. Everything is at the highest level.

Super Hotel!
Be sure to visit the ninth-floor restaurant! I think it's Zlata Praha, a formidable attention, excellent wines, and the food is a delicacy.

Except for a few small criticisms, we felt very comfortable here.
Our room was large, well furnished and we had a beautiful view.
The food was also very good.
In contrast to others, I think it is okay to say that the parking garage costs 40 Euro/Nacht, because these are the Prague conditions. If this is too expensive, you can park on the street … However, it is not recommended with a German mark.
However, I think that we had to pay 30 Euro/-day for our little dog, a bit excessively expensive. A one-time redemption fee or discount if you are there for a few days would be recommended.
The seating groups at the bar are comfortable. Unfortunately, the bar itself is not like this. The upper lattice in which the spirits stand does not fit at all, and does not look beautiful. It was also, unfortunately, a bit annoying that the staff often stood up together at the bar, and were therefore a bit inattentive.
Otherwise, we will be happy to come back again.

Brilliant place, right at the heart of Prague. Short walk to the square, river and all major touristy places. The rooms were good, with the usual facilities of mini bar, safe, iron and even a EU UK travel adaptor. The breakfast buffet was good as well. And if you are the health inclined type, there is a brilliant gym/swimming pool/ sauna etc. Overall recommended.

Beautiful hotel! We stayed here in October 2017 and were absolutely amazed by it. The service of the staff was excellent. The rooms were beautiful. The restaurant was amazing! There was also a pool and spa in the hotel which was great for enjoying a relaxing evening after walking round the sights of Prague during the day.

Great hotel in downtown Prague. Beautifully positioned with a beautiful view over the city and the river Moldova a 2 minute walk from the center. Well-tended elegant rooms and a 5-star service…

Great hotel. Room spacious, adequate and of course clean. Breakfast is a highlight and a dinner in the rooftop restaurant. Only a shower curtain is not really appropriate at a hotel of this class.

The Golden Prague Residence is extra. At 10 meters from the hotel, you have access to the facilities of the hotel, large apartments less expensive than the rooms of the hotel. Ideal Placement. All on foot.

It was a very nice hotel, but very good location in the old town. Breakfast was excellent Nice spa with a pretty cold pool. The adjoining car park is expensive €120 for 3 days. Excellent bedding.

Great location to visit the whole city.

Spectacular, great, comfortable, imposing, majestic and above all very central. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Spectacular breakfast buffet. The spa, swimming pool, sauna is tremendous. Large, spacious rooms with all amenities. Second time I am and repeat.

We were completely satisfied. Central yet quiet location for a short trip to Prague. Very nice service. Nice Smbiente. Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Spacious room, as desired with great views of the Vltava River and even Prague Castle.

The hotel is very well located.
The rooms are comfortable and have everything.
The hotel staff at reception were exceptionally friendly and even had some detail with us during our stay.
The only downside, the pool. It's supposed to be heated and cold. As soon as we entered, we went out to get into the hot water of the jacuzzi.
It has a restaurant with terrace and a very nice view to the city. The quality of the food is pretty good and the service excellent.

We stayed here for three days prior to our Avalon river cruise. The location is great! The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The hotel employees have been so helpful and courteous. If we are in the area again, we would surely stay here!

We recently had 40 guests at this hotel from all over the World for our children's Wedding. We also hosted a dinner event on the rooftop. We cannot praise enough the staff, service, attention to detail. It was perfect. The restaurant and food was fantastic. The rooftop venue is spectacular. The breakfast is amazing. Location is perfect. Fantastic views. Concierge and staff — so professional. Our guests were very pleased. The rooms and suite are slightly dated and could use an update of furniture, carpeting. — but everything was very clean and well serviced. We are incredibly grateful to the Intercontinental for making our stay and the events leading up to the Wedding so magical. Recommend highly for service, and location, food and staff. It was an amazing experience and every request was honored.

As for this hotel is one of the best in Prague. Easy to get to room, great staff, good SPA and big gym. Location is excellent. Dinner in restaurant Zlata Praha impress with view and food.

Very lovely hotel with great views of a bridge (not the St Charles! ) But wonderful location with ability to access the heart of downtown near the clock as well as the famous St Charles bridge. The hotel staff and accommodations are good. Get the breakfast as that is worth it. A few annoyances are the iron being dirty and ruining a dress shirt and some mold in the bathroom. Recommended spot to stay!

Formal place, excellent dishes with simple ingredients, accompanied by a good choice of wines (although in my opinion, in one case the pairing was not apt). Very professional service, high prices, but the view of Prague of which you enjoy is unique.

Intercontinental is a true 5 star hotel, the kids loved it too. They are 4 and 7 years old and loved the swimming pool, the food, and the friendly staff. The location is among the best as you are close to everything and they have parking in the basement if you come by car. We also had a real family emergency where we needed an ambulance and the staff was as quick and skilled as anyone would wish. Informative and helpful with follow up calls to see that we were doing ok. Anything and more that one would wish for under the circumstances. I was so impressed I signed up for the ambassador membership. The location and price can not be beaten and the added security when you have an emergency can not be better. Loved it and we will be back. Also as we missed our stay in Vienna they made sure to do everything to make it up to us.

Very good hotel, in every point of view. Staying in the Golden Prague Residence that is attached, is less than 30 meters, you spend much less and you can avail of the service SPA and gym. Recommended.

An amazing hotel! Just what you've come to expect from the InterContinental! The exterior might look shady, but it's very cozy inside, the rooms are fairly large and the hotel offers breakfast and quite a few facilities. It's within walking distance of the Old City which is great because that's where you'll always be… Staff speaks English as well, so no figuring out words using Google Translate™

My wife and I spent 3 days here as part of an AMA Waterways Riverboat Trip of the Danube. We found the room to be very nice. We had a city view and enjoyed looking out at the magnificent buildings. The location was perfect and we walked to many of the top attractions and restaurants. Breakfast has many choices and…

Don't be put off by the 1960's soviet looking exterior — lovely inside. Great lunch menu, sea food risotto was stunning, great espresso. Nice place to sit and people watch and kill a few hours.

With my friend we chose this hotel via a promotional site. We had to be housed in what they call 'Junior suite', an annex next to the main building (Golden Prague Residence).
Indeed, Intercontinental was very well located: less than 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Our room was the pictures on their website, nice and clean. Although his condition was not perfect (cracked in places, living room ceiling yellow spots in the bathroom, trace of unknown origin on one of the blinds, shower hose damaged) and the windows overlook a large building across the street, in short, we were happy.
Yet, I don't go back more.
Here's why:
I was surprised not to find the bottle of wine promised in the mail of booking (replaced by a water bottle), that I don't have, however, not claimed: the hotel staff gave little to ask anything. On the site promised a VIP welcome that was, on the contrary, icy: the smile is not appropriate — I can take-, but we speak of a sufficient, almost contemptuous air!
At the time to pay for the stay, I see, that the amount exceed 20 euros one specified on the booking email (impossible to know why, the Bill being established in Czech on page 3 — of the never seen-). But in addition, the manager refused to take two of our tickets on the pretext that they are damaged.

I like the hotel, the rooms are nice big and clean. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you. The check-in went smooth without to many issues. The bed, O M G, the bed is just awesome, I think this is one of the best beds that I had so far in a hotel. I'm afraid that by the end of this week, I will no longer have the power to come out of this bed in the morning. The bathroom is OK, it's not fancy nor is it really old / dirty. It's just as it needs to be. They provision you with all the things that you need to have a comfortable stay. I did not use their sauna etc, but it's really nice that they seem to have it! Downside, the internet is really SHIT, when you pay for the internet you get the most awesome internet ever, but you have to pay for it and it' really expensive, 75 euro's for 3 day's. And you can only connect with a couple of devices. The parking is right under the hotel, this is really a nice extra, you don't have to go and search for a spot on the street. The price per night (97 euro) seems to be a very reasonable price. It did not have the breakfast included but nonetheless, it seemed reasonable for what you get.

A very nice place with lovely staff and very helpful, nice swimming pool and the best location away from the noise and yet in the market.

5 stars though. If free Wi-Fi in the room was not limited to an hour. Free anyway in the lobby. Everything else ok, including the restaurant.
