Please do not book. It’s February and they will not switch the central heating on. They even confirmed that they have been instructed to not switch the gas on.

Villa needs a little TLC but over all not to bad. Room are a nice size and the pool was clean but needs a clean at water line. Had a fridge fault call the number on information sheet and they had someone out to see what the problem was and had a engineer to us that afternoon and a stand-by fridge to us that night until ours could be fixed. But we had a good week away.

The good news first: communication with the agency/management was very good. The pool was great for our children and us adults and the location to the beach and restaurants is excellent. We found the washing machine to be a very important feature with small children. The barbecue area was also a cosy place that we enjoyed using.
However, the location does not justify the rental price (of 316.00 EUR per night, as of 7.2022) and the condition found — the house needs urgent refurbishment (see also reviews on a major search engine and booking portals) : one of the bathrooms is basically unusable due to strong smell; especially in the summer heat. The kitchen utensils are in greasy cassettes and the handles of the drawers are bacony, as are the blinds and partly tattered curtains. The pans and some kitchen utensils are past their prime and should be replaced urgently. Decorative items must have been standing around in a damaged state for a long time.
The garden, advertised as "beautiful", disappoints — weeds have broken through everywhere and are a metre high in places. There are aluminium trays and the rollers of the flushing rail car (! ), as well as former climbing aids scattered wildly around the backyard. The fact that several sets of cleaning utensils were stored along the house wall did not leave a good impression, nor did the fact that the front door key was in the lock when we arrived — instead of in the key safe as agreed.
