Serene Serenity

Villa was perfect! spacious, with perfect view and clean water in pool. Host is fantastic person and took care about everything! Can't say bad word, about stay.

We love the appartment, wonderful view and quiet, we felt immediately at home. There even are a couple of books in the condo, which we appreciated. For smaller issues the owner was available and reacted fast. Restaurants near by are much to British taste, we had to drive into the mountains to find decent original food. Recommend buying vegetables and fruits from local farmers, taste great!

We stayed at Villa Serene Serenity in January/February 2025 as part of our family’s travels. The home and location were beautiful, and our youngest son spent the final days of his life there before passing unexpectedly from an undiagnosed heart condition. We left the home in the early hours, in deep shock and grief, to rush him to the ICU.
While we acknowledge some damage occurred during our stay (including a broken telescope stand and small stains on the sofa), the response we received afterward felt deeply disappointing. We were told the home was left “very dirty” and that our deposit did not cover the damages, with no compassion expressed around the context of our rushed departure or the trauma we endured.
We had already paid in full, including deposits and utilities, and still followed up kindly and respectfully from abroad to close things out. Instead of empathy, the focus was placed on walls and cleaning costs. We are grateful for the time we had there, but sadly, the way our departure was handled overshadowed the experience.
