Ithaki House

Ithaki house is just the most beautiful villa, in the most gorgeous peaceful and stunning area of cyprus. It has all you need for the most perfect holiday, lovely pool, stunning sunsets and every thing you need right there. But what makes this different than other holiday lets is christina the host. She welcomes you as family and you leave truly feeling part of the ithaki family. She's not in your space just in your heart and you truly feel spoilt and looked after. Fond memories of a lovely holiday x.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Ithaki House and will definitely be visiting again… Christina and Simos go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The fridge is filled with food and drinks including wine and beer and the most amazing food platter is presented on arrival so arriving late is not a problem. Christina has thought of everything you might need for your stay including fresh cut flowers from the beautiful garden… the pool was easy to get in and out of very welcoming on a hot day… all the seating areas were amazing so much choice on where to sit for those beautiful views. For us it was a home from home and would highly recommend Ithaki House it's Five stars from us.

Ithaki is a lovely place, fitted out to a very high standard and with spectacular views. Christina is a brilliant host in every way. She provided us with food and drinks to make our stay even more enjoyable and her tips on where to go were excellent.

We first came to Ithaki in 2019, and fell in love with it. We have returned every year since. Its a beautiful spot, expertly managed by Christina, who does her utmost to make your visit joyous. We have explored the area & have experienced kindness & welcome everywhere. It's a real treat!

I could make this the shortest review ever as one word would suffice in summing up our stay at Ithaki House.
“Perfection! ”
But I’ll indulge “my followers” with a more in-depth review so please, bear with me? We waited almost 3 years to discover the dreamy delights of Ithaki House, it’s gorgeous garden, the pool with beautiful views and the delightful village of nearby Lysos.
2020, cancelled due to covid,
2021 cancelled due to a family bereavement,
2022 cancelled due to adjacent building works at Ithaki. (Christina didn’t want our holiday spoilt by the building works so she kindly sourced us another Villa, with a few added extras as well. She’ll know what we mean! 🤣🤣)
Throughout this time, Christina was in constant touch, accommodating us every step of the way, sending us updates and little gifts, she was a proper ray of sunshine and we always had that “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” awaiting us, Ithaki House.
And we finally made it for two glorious weeks from the 6th to the 20th July 2023!
Christina and Simos were there to greet us with a friendly smile and a warm handshake, even though they were going through tough times themselves.
We then had a guided tour of Ithaki and a brief explanation of what and where everything is and how it all works. And when I say everything, I mean everything.

This was our second visit to Ithaki House. Christina welcomed us like old friends, which we have become, as she has kept in touch regularly since our first visit 12 months ago.
On our arrival there was a beautiful welcome platter of meats cheeses and fruits to feed us, this was actually so big that we had a lovely brunch from it the next day as well. The fridge, cupboards and bar were so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for the fist few days, that there is no rush to the supermarket.
Ithaki house itself is stunning from top to bottom, with each room immaculately clean and comfortable.
Outside there is a beautiful garden and pool, again all maintained perfectly.
The view over Polis, Latchi and Akamas peninsula is stunning, and the sunset alone is worth the trip.
We will definitely return for a third visit.

From the moment Christina warmly greeted us, we felt that Ithaki house would be our home away from home. Christina takes great care of her guests and the well-appointed house is perfect for one or two couples or a small family.
From the fresh flowers to the comfy beds, or the many books and games, TV with great cable (although you might not need it (there’s so much to to in the region — and Christina has even prepared a guide), excellent Wi-Fi, nice pool area, etc. Everything (and I mean everything) has been thought of.
Oh, and the sunset picture is from the balcony adjacent from the bedrooms. 😍
If you happen to visit that part of Cyprus and by any luck Ithaki house is available, do not hesitate, and book a week (or two)!

We stayed at Ithaki House for 2 weeks with our 2 children.
From initial enquiry to arriving home Christina's attention to detail and commitment to her role as a host is beyond anything we have every experienced. Nothing was ever too much and her recommendations invaluable.
The Villa itself is absolutely stunning and there is nothing you could want that is not there already. It is very clear that this is more than a rental Villa and the furnishing and accommodation is of the highest specification.
The area itself is quiet but a short walk to the village of Lysos.
The view from the pool area is simply breath-taking and watching the sunset on the hanging egg chairs was one of my favourite things to do.
Ithaki House is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and take some time out to recharge, but it also provided us a great base to have some quality fun time with our children and explore the beautiful Island of Cyprus.
We can not think of anything that could improve our experience of staying at Ithaki House.

For our first visit to cyrpus we struck lucky with booking Ithaki house as it is the perfect holiday home! straight away we felt at home, the layout, views, pool, furnishings and extras that Christina the owner provides makes you feel so special and relaxed… We spent a lot of our time relaxing at the pool and enjoying the views and amazing nightly sunsets over a cocktail. We would gladly return to explore more of the cyprus.
And to enjoy the villa again. The beautiful area of polis and latchi has plenty of gorgeous tavernas to sample more Cypriot hospitality. I wouldnt hesitate to reccomend or return. The house has everything you need and you could easily go with a little cabin case. Thanks again Christina. Lisa and Paul.

Classy hide away, beautiful sunsets by the dozen and worldclass communication!
This house is the perfect hide away for people who want to stay away from the crowd, but who also want everything within a 15min drive.
It is fully equipped and that means FULLY. In 15 years of renting-a-house vacations that has been by far the best equipped house we have been able to make vacations in. The sunsets are awesome, stunning, wonderful, call it as you like. They are great. And to top this, Christina is an excellent host. During these difficult Covid 19 times, she maintained the best of all communications with us. Truly world class. Not forgetting the many ideas and recommendations she has for her guests to visit and enjoy.
We shall come back one day!

This is the most outstanding, beautiful, breathtaking place, we've ever stayed at. Kindest hostess, best view! Well worth the money! Love it!
