The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and the swimming pool was big enough. However, there were quite a few issues that were deal breakers for all of us.
First, all the air conditioners in the house had a timer on the power socket that would only allow them to work for 2 hours max. This meant that during the night we had to wake up every couple of hours to turn on the AC which also required you to get out of the bed. There was no way to bypass this and as you can imagine so getting a good night's sleep was out of the question. We felt drained every morning. This was the biggest issue by far.
Secondly, there was an awful smell of mold in the kitchen, including the various cupboards and drawers. The kitchen also needs more utensils for people who want to make a meal. Furthermore, the power would go out every time we tried to use the dishwasher since the wiring of the house could not handle the power load with the AC units on. I cannot really blame the owner for this since it is an old house.
Thirdly, there were no soap dispensers in the bathrooms and we were not provided with face towels because according to the owner it was their policy. There were no towel holders in the bathrooms which was very impractical.
Overall, this place has potential to be great but the owner needs to address these issues because they really have a negative impact on your stay. I wouldn't recommend this place unless these issues are resolved.
