Only air-conditioning in rooms — so get very sweaty at meal times. On occasion had to go back to room to shower! Rooms are ok — not consistent though — we had 2 rooms and one had better aircon unit, more TV channels and foam toppers on the beds! Pool is small — can't really do lengths, drinks are (in my opinion) expensive — luckily there are shops within a minute's walk. Staff are nice — male staff more chatty and friendly than female. Food was ok. Adequate choice. No chips or chicken nuggets — proper food. Hotel is close to bars, shops, mall, harbour and bus station. We won't be returning though, as there are much nicer hotels about. This one looked tired and the entertainment (not every night) wasn't up to much. A week was plenty. Re: paphos… liked the airport. Paphos was looking shabby though. Good bus service. I got hassled in the mall — some bloke trying to flog me a 'miracle' face mask — 70% off at €180! It had iron filings in it which he removed with a magnet. Wow! Similar thing on Amazon for a tenner. Then again at the harbour — you'll get pounced on by blokes trying to sell you boat trips or safaris. They want you to "book now" — so you can't walk further and get offered a better price by the next seller. If you go to coral bay beach — be aware there are jelly fish and we all had bad guts after our visit. My daughter was I'll for 2 days — was the water clean? Not in my opinion.

This hotel was outstanding, from the moment we walked in with our suitcases to check in to the time we handed our keys in. On arrival we had to fill a form in, whilst doing this we were brought complimentary drinks. (very much appreciated) The service is impeccable, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very spacious and the main thing to me is everywhere is clean! There is a very good selection at breakfast and different meals offered every night (we were half board). There is entertainment most nights, don't miss the ABBA tribute, I would recommend them. There are plenty of sunbeds, some around the pool and more on the terrace if you want a quieter sunbathe. The hotel is close to the nightlife if that's what you want, but far enough away that it doesn't affect you. It is a short walk to the seafront. There is a 24 hour shop just on the corner so that is very convenient. I have nothing negative to say about Hotel Nereus and would definitely return in the future. Have a great holiday!

Quite clean hotel, however with poor room service. Good location to the Paphos city and sea. Small selection of food with poor quality and taste. Despite all inclusive we have used local bars and restaurants very often. Nice and friendly staff. Small pool making water overheat. The whole hotel experience was definitely overpriced, there is plenty ways and attractions to spend time in Pathos and around the island getting you out of hotel. This made me feel like I have spend all money just for room to sleep and flights.

Excellent small and friendly hotel. Very comfortable and good foid. 10 minute stroll to harbour with good restaurants.

The room was very Comfortable. The Promised mini-kitchen is not, but it compensated dinners. At arrival everyone is offered juice. Very friendly staff. The Photos on the booking site correspond to reality.

Pros: Excellent staff on restaurant. Good value For money Location Cons: Bathroom – issue with water flow. Air-condition – very noisy. Beds – matters are old and not comfortable.

Lovely place to stay. Lovely family that owns it. Very friendly staff. Food is very good. Cleaned every day in side and out side could not wish for a better place to stay all staff makes you feal very welcome close to the sea front and shops cannot wait till we go again been going to the nereus twice a year for 8 year.

Loved this small but extreamly friendly hotel. Absolutely amazing service from ALL staff. Bar staff in evenings were so very accomodating… nothing is too much trouble!. Big shout out to George and Otis in the bar… entertainment or what!?. Weather in March was exceptionally brilliant. Hitting a hot 26!. Food brilliant. No surprise why people return year after year. Not really a childrens holiday… 'older adults'

Staff, food and location are excellent. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Hotel is a bit dated. I think work is planned winter 17/18. Live entertaiment most nights. 2 pools, rooftop sunbed area. Small games room. 5 minute walk from the harbour. Would definitely stay again.

We booked it for two weeks and we loved our stay. Very nice hotel, the staff was friendly and they worked very hard. The room was ok and cleaned up every day. Nearby there are plenty bars and restaurants. To the sea is about 10 minutes walking. We had a great time and we definitely will stay there again.

Family run hotel, friendly, great service and I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Lovely friendly, clean, helpful, near the beach & town & on the flat.

Restaurant staff work hard to make guests feel at home. Less mobile guests are well provided for with handrail in accommodation corridors, and mobility scooter hire. A luggage scale helps guests avoid unpleasant experiences when checking in at the airport at the end of the holiday. Competent buffet for breakfast and dinner (I didn't sample lunch). Might be worth asking drink prices when ordering at the bar: a plastic disposable glass of soda water with ice and lemon cost me €3.60 in May 2017 (losing the establishment one star in my rating). Location is far enough from the clubs, and close enough to the seafront (less than 15 minutes walk). Selection of bars nearby (beer lovers, check out the Old Fishing Shack).

Hotel from the sixties need touch bulldozer or major revamp cracks on walls, crap lighting, _€6 per night for air con which is very noisey but a necessity in the heat. Staff lovely and helpful but view from most balconies very poor as a lot of pophos is run down and suffering from euro death. Ok for a cheap deal but not £400 per person per week only 2star max not 3. Pauline and Glenn Edinburgh.
