Nex hostel is perfectly placed. A 10 minute walk to the central bus station or you can take bus 19 that stops right in front of it.
They've a beautiful community around!
Right from the moment I came in, Henri was super helpful and gave me literally all the information I could possibly need! It was great fun to talk to him as well. He's been a solid support. There is a lot of work around the hostel, and Elias and Henri manage it beautifully.
Very glad I chose to stay here. Made some amazing friends, sang songs from different continents, spoke for hours with them, loved learning about all the local info, sites to see, ways to navigate Cyprus in a budget friendly way. Elias and a friend kindly showed me how to brew a perfect Cypriot coffee!
Truly grateful for the beautiful bits of the hidden and real Cyprus I saw through these people.

Very underrated. I was impressed with everything. Cleanliness is 11/10, the outdoor terrace is huge, and would be epic during the summer months. There is a kitchen, elevator, super strong Wi-Fi and the rooms were spacious, and the overall interior design was cool throughout. Would recommend 110%. The owner is also very accommodating and helpful :)

The hostel is perfect, during my stay as a solo traveller I felt safe and cozy. I loved the key system that can lock the wardrobe, it made me feel so safe. Kitchen is perfect to cook what you want and the terrace is gorgeous. Shout-out to Henry that is the best hostel manager ever. I gave three stars for the location as its 15-18 minutes walking from the centre of the city but once you realize how to go around it's very easy and fast to get there.

I was a solo traveller in Cyprus for the first time and I just wanted a clean, safe & reasonably comfortable place to stay at an affordable price while I explored Nicosia and beyond. This hostel was perfect — it met my needs completely and the staff were very friendly & helpful.

Great place to stay in the capital. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Rooms have lots of space and automatic locking lockers under the beds. Good kitchen, nice neighbourhood, staff were helpful and there’s even a delicious bakery next door. Would definitely stay again!

Better than expected, and one of the nicer hostels I’ve stayed without being too expensive or posh. AC that actually got cold, teas and coffees, and a full shared fridge and kitchen. It’s in a quieter area, so you can sleep on a weekend night without late night music.

Excellent accommodation with helpful friendly staff. Very clean. I booked a private room which was very spacious. The rooftop area is lovely with plenty of seating and shade a great spot to hang out and mingle with other guests.

This is probably one of my favourite hostels I've stayed in. The place has so much space, with many areas for working and a beautiful rooftop area. Even the rooms have bunk beds on the far sides, then couches and a huge space in the middle, and the lockers are super spacious. Would definitely stay again!

My experience was amazing, clean rooms and common spaces, nice and safe area with a vegan friendly bakery next door. The rooftop is another plus, the owner and staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Budget-friendly and close to the city center. I would definitely recommend it to travellers and backpackers!

An amazing stay with lovely people. Super helpful and quick to respond to emails in English before my stay. Also gave me excellent instructions about how to get there from Ercan airport. The hostel is clean and comfortable. The roof terrace is an extra value with great view of the city and the sky.

Stuff are so nice here. Guy showed me everything, even took care about adapter for socket. Wi-Fi is good. There is coffee and tea, plates, cups in the kitchen. Very nice terrace on the top floor also.
Toilet paper and soap always on place.
It’s not in the city center. But 20 minutes in foot is acceptable and fine.

Everbody has Their own closet which can be locked! The hostel is very clean and the service is great! The roof terrace is huge and really beautiful!

I have been visiting Nicosia with my brother for the ECER conference. The place where we stayed is really great both in terms of location, facilities and cleanliness, and in terms of price.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, special thanks to the receptionist guy Henry for all his advice in relation to how to travel around Cyprus. The hostel provides with everything (towels, toiletries, coffee, tea) all the facilities to cook for yourself. The amazing part they have great balcony, where you can enjoy the evening in the fresh air. As well on my first day I needed some space to study, they also have it, quiet and which AC, which is really important in such hot weather. They also provide free lockers with keys.

Well kept rooms, fully stocked kitchen and upstairs from a great bakery. What's not to love?
AC was a godsend during the summer and free filtered water and fast Wi-Fi were great benefits.
Bus access close by but walking to the centre of the old city is only 15 minutes so good location.
Keycard access to building, rooms, and personal locker was also a great feature as in the past having to buy/bring a lock was annoying.

Generally good. I liked my stay there. Everything was good, except that my room was not really clean as there were other people's hair all over the room. Nice terrace, free tea, bakery next to hostel. 10 min of walk from Cyprus museum.

I made two friends here. But it’s not hugely social, a few crazy old men hanging around. Hostel is on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building and there is a lift.
Location is okay — there’s an incredible bakery a few doors down. The walk to town is quite nice if you cut through a particular walkway to get there. Otherwise, it’s not a super nice journey to town.
Kitchen is quite equipped, and they have free filtered water, and some tea and coffee with filters. Bonus.
Beds and rooms are comfortable but you have to fit the sheets yourself and strip it before checkout. No power sockets for upper bunks. Lockers in the rooms are sufficient and functional. Free towel.
Bathrooms are uncomfortable but more because they are tiny than actually being grotesque.
Wifi is stable. There is a work area on the third floor. And some balconies too — with (UK) power plugs.
You could get used to it here and make the most of it. It might be the best hostel in Nicosia. The charm of the place hadn’t fully reached me by the time I checked out and I forgot to take photos.

The best hostel I stayed at while I was in Cyprus easily. Polite staff, good spacious rooms, nice outdoor balcony, and close enough to the touristy part of Nicosia to walk but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that they could definitely do better at emptying the garbage cans in the restroom more often. They fill up quickly and it becomes gross at a certain point. But other than that I strongly recommend you stay at NEX Hostel.
