White Hostel

I had a terrible experience at this hostel. The rooms were dirty, with dust and trash everywhere. The bed linen looked old and unwashed. Worst of all, there were bed bugs — I woke up covered in bites. It was impossible to sleep. The bathrooms were filthy, smelled bad, and clearly were not cleaned properly. When I complained, the staff were rude and didn’t take the issue seriously. Overall, this place feels unsafe and unhygienic. I strongly do not recommend staying here.

This hostel is truly lovely, about 100 meters from the sea and has a terrace with a beautiful panoramic view of the seafront promenade. It's also on the third floor, so it's often windy. The manager is very sweet and affable, always available. The owner, is a man of few words but extremely generous: I only stayed one night here and had lunch and dinner with his food, as he loves to offer food to everyone and sit at the table with his guests for dinner. And to be honest, he's also a fantastic cook: I ate divinely. The hostel is clean, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. There are many working cameras that made me feel protected from potential theft. At check-in, they ask you to remove your shoes and put them in a shoe rack to maintain the hygiene of the hostel. The rooms are very nice and have soft carpeting on the floors, as is the living room. And it's also very reasonably priced. I've seen many negative reviews about the building (seven stories in total), which say it's horrible and dilapidated, and that guests are disgusted by the stairs to the third floor. I agree with this, but I'd like to know how the hostel and the owner should be held responsible. The hostel and all its rooms don't have these problems: only along the stairs. I don't understand why people criticize and complain about things that have nothing to do with the hostel. Should it be the owner's fault and responsibility if whoever built the building not decades ago was unprofessional?

The very first thing I want to mention is the wonderful, kind, and friendly people who work here. They greet you with a smile, are always ready to help, and create an atmosphere that feels just like home – surrounded by friends.
The hostel is very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The room was comfortable, the bed linen fresh and pleasant, and everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. The location is also convenient – easy to get wherever you need to go.
I’m truly grateful to everyone who creates and maintains such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 💛

I would give a zero if I could. Accessible through a dark passageway from a shady alley in a dilapidated building, I had to ask three different people to find the hostel entrance. The elevator was out of order, and the hostel apartment doors were wide open, even though the staff wasn't there. They were rude on the phone, made wait 20 minutes at 20:40 even though there was supposed to be reception until 22:00. I told them off on the phone, and they ended up forcing me to cancel. For the better, I would say, but I am reporting them for being hostile and threatening. Avoid for your own safety, these people are not stable!

I made a reservation by booking, and because of delay in my flight, I came around 6 oclock in the morning…
The owner of the place, and his worker,
Shouted at me when I woke them up.
And they kicked me out of the place.
I was walking with a suitcase after a rough white night, looking for another hotel.

I had a great time at the place which was a very nice and wonderful views and peaceful atmosphere place and I would love to visit again thanks a lot.

+ nice staff, clean premises, fully equipped, nice view from the terrace, peace and quiet.
-the owner has a cat there, she is nice and playful. But she can open the door herself, jumps on you and wakes you up and doesn’t want to leave.

It was ok. Typical hostel atmosphere. The host is living there, so if you need anything, he is inthere. There are some strict rules, so everything is in order. It's really clean inthere.

Great location, friendly staff and clean communal areas. Rules in place to ensure everyone has the best stay, although in my case, some did not bother to follow. That is however, the lottery of a hostel.

Well, it's affordable, clean and very close to the promenade. It's also got pretty strict rules and it feels more like a summer camp for kids than hostel for adults… Entrance could use couple of signs but it's fine for couple od nights. No railing on the top bunks is sketchy though.

Best price per bed in town. Nice terrace, everything has some age, but for this price, it is really worth staying here. Clean sheets, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and nice living area. Friendly staff. Sketchy building and scary staircase. You should take the elevator to the third floor, once you know the door code.

I liked everything. Recommend.
