Lovely hosts, tasty breakfast, nice pool and good rooms. We had a great time staying at Esperando for 1 week with my family. :)
We visited Esperando in September 2023 and after being asked to change rooms, from the family room they allocated to double and then again to escape a noisy neighbour we finally settled in a lovely room.
When we decided to return in September ‘25, I specifically asked for the same lovely room again and was told it was available so I booked it 8 weeks in advance.
Last week, just 7 days before arrival, the owner told us we’d have to have a different room for the first two nights of our stay.
I asked why and was told another holidaymaker’s booking had changed.
I politely asked why that holiday maker couldn’t use the other room for two nights.
I was then invited to cancel my booking.

The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. We had the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Super varied, personalised and delicious. The place was a bit deserted in the off-season and due to construction work, but the location itself is a good starting point for daytrips. :)
