Mimosa Beach Hotel

The hotel is well kept, clean tidy and fairly modern. Room we had was basic but again clean and well maintained. Food is buffet style and is medium quality but plentiful, evening choices are different nightly repeated every 2 weeks. Half board can be breakfast and lunch at pool bar or breakfast and evening buffet in main dining room.
Pool area is great, pool bar excellant.

The hotel is located in quiet area with easy access to beech, take a beautiful 45 min stroll on sea shore/ boardwalk and you have plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a favourite with older, 50 plus, customers altho a few young families were here at our holiday but this meant it was peacefull and relaxing in beautiful surroundings. I loved it!

If you’re looking for a budget hotel this place will just about do. The beds were so hard it was like lying on an ironing board book your chiropractor appointment for your return home! Rooms are clean and they have tried modernising it but good be better. The towels in the room are no bigger than hand towels and our curtains were stained and had holes in them but room was clean. If you’re lucky you will get a sunbed that’s not broken but your parasol will be mouldy and covered in bird mess. Hotel guests average 60+ and most are recurring guests, and the food is care home meals at best, take money to eat out as personally I wouldn’t feed it to the dog and nothing is hot, all lukewarm. Staff are all genuinely nice and pleasant. Pint of Keo is over €5 at the bar go to local supermarket where you can get a big bottle for €1.85, prices of hotel drink is terrible and their local wine is like red wine vinegar in the hotel. You will be charged €1.85 for a bottle of water you’re not allowed to take your own in to the restaurant. Thankfully we will not be returning so glad we never paid more than we did for this holiday as we genuinely think we have had a week in a care home.

Fantastic family run hotel — 80 rooms. Amazing staff — Stellios very helpful & friendly as were owners Linda & Eugene who are on site every day. Our room 222 wonderful view. Basic but spotless & cleaned every day. Plenty of choice at dinner & breakfast. Only thing letting it down is lack of ‘something’ in the evenings. As hotel us quite remote with no other bars etc nearby it sometimes felt a bit flat in the evenings. May evenings are a bit chilly & would have been a good idea to have the upstairs bar open. Many people didn’t hang around long at the pool bar in evenings (too windy & cold). Overall though I would return in a flash!

Our second visit and we came for a month and joined the regular holiday makers who also find the small friendly hotel a perfect break away. We had a nice room overlooking the pool and was nicely renovated from the room we had the previous year. Also this year we thought the food was better. More healthy choices salads etc and lots of alternatives to meat. We enjoy trying vegetarian foods so was very welcome to have more choice sometimes the food was too salty ie the meatballs were delicious so nice but far too much salt! Us oldies can't tolerate too much lol! Can not wait for our return and look forward to swimming in the lovely bay. Thank you to Chrystella for that lovely smile every day and to Steliois and the waiters all the staff who make the hotel what it is.

Good hotel and all staff very friendly. The food was good, although pork seemed to feature rather frequently on the evening menu. Great beach front location with a relatively quiet beach compared to others we visited. Very calm and clear waters. Limited amount of places (bars or restaurants) within walking distance although small supermarkets are pretty close. Definitely worth using Happy Divers onside for a taster dive session, it was 50euros pp for about 2 hours which included basic safety and equipment overview, getting kitted up and 45 min dive time. Instructor also took photos for everyone.
