Review of Infinity Blu 4*

We’ve just spent a lovely week at the Infinity Blu. It’s in a great location, on a lovely cove with great sand and clear sea. We spent every day at the beach, and the sunbeds were only €3.50 each, so really good value! The sea was fab for snorkelling, with loads of fish to see.
Our suite was lovely, with a really comfy bed, good air conditioning and separate living room. The shower wasn’t very powerful, but it was a good size.
All of the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. My boyfriend had a birthday whilst we were away and they put balloons and a cake in our room, which was a really lovely touch.
The food and drink were all great. We were all inclusive and really enjoyed every meal we had. The wine was Chilean, which we thought a little strange not to be local, but it tasted great. We like to eat out in the evening and found some really nice restaurants just up the road, and a great bar with a live band every night. Whilst there wasn’t the charm of a little town, there were a couple of shops, and good atmosphere.
The promenade / boardwalk is lovely for walking — there are other coves to the left and a marina with a pretty church. To the right is Protaras, about a 30 minute walk. We got a taxi there one night for €15. It wasn’t really to our taste as it was quite loud and busy, with big restaurants and bars, but it was good to see and we had a nice meal. Penera is much quieter, where you can have a chilled holiday.
The hotel is very peaceful too, with just background music. It never felt busy, and sunbeds were available all day. With it being a small hotel it had a lovely atmosphere.
We’ve had a fab week, and hope to visit again.
