Choosing the right hotel can be difficult as everyone quite rightly has their own opinion how the stay went for them and they express themselves on a platform such as Tripadvisor, after all we work hard to go away for a well needed holiday.
After looking for our next adventure after a number of years in the Dominican Republic I did my research including Tripadvisor and made the choice for this hotel, surely all the great reviews being so consistent would mean it really is a wonderful place to stay, or was it just returning guests faithful to the hotel? I booked this year's stay back in August 2025 based on reviews at the time and have to say on the whole those reviews continued before we travelled.
The answer is this hotel lived up to and exceed our expectations, what a gem this is, rare to have a holiday and feel so relaxed, no sunbed wars, food wonderful, staff as a team across all departments just fantastic, location for us also perfect. Really nice part for us was the amount of returning guests we met and it makes the hotel so sociable, we hope to see them again next year.
The rooms are kept well maintained and very clean, the food as many have said is beyond a regular hotel buffet, the food is fantastic, we enjoyed every meal and a big thank you to all involved. The grounds are maintained really well around the hotel, front dest always helpful, thank you Jude and Howard for just being there to chat to.
So many names we could put down but for us in our time there a big thank you to Hassam from day one of our two week stay he remembered our drinks we had on all meals and in the evening sat outside a credit to the hotel. It would be wrong though to just single one member of the restaurant and bar team, thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special, but a few names to include, Helen, Laxmi, Mahmood, Ajay, Jessi and Maria.
Lastly it was a pleasure to meet Sonia who manages the hotel, what a wonderful hotel and staff you have, we look forward to coming back next year to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary.
