The food was incredible! We had the tiger prawns, which were to die for! The duck leg and hangarsteak were delicious and very tender! For desert, creme brulee… wonderful! As an extra we had deep fried banana which was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and nice! It's tucked away off the road in the trees which gives it a fantastic atmosphere, kind of like dining in a hidden garden. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a tasty meal! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

We ordered a preset menu and their hangar steak. This is the first place on the island that we have been to that has flavor! We have been here for four days and almost all of the restaurants have been bland or tasteless.
We originally were going to a place down the street from here, but they required reservations, so we had to find a new restaurant. I am so glad we decided to come here. Everything was delicious. The hangar steak was tender and juicy, all of the items we ordered were packed with flavor and we couldn’t get enough of it.
If we were to stay another few days, I’d opt for us to come back here for dinner in the evenings.

We easily got a reservation and both ordered 3 course meal (Onion Soup, rack of Lamb, flanksteak, crème brûlée and tiramisu). Everything from service to food was excellent and one of our best meals on island.

Food was delicious and service was great. We bought a painting from the owner and wanted a clean version, so he came out to get us one and personally signed the art. Hidden gem. Best food we had on the island. The steak au poivre was great as well as the fondue, plus best cheese balls we’ve tried.

Breakfast here is unreal and not to be missed. Vietnamese coffee and French toast with dolce de leche? Yes please. We also had dinner here and really enjoyed the meal. It's quaint and quiet, certainly a change up from the more explosive restaurants of Willemstad, but it's a welcomed change when you want some fantastic food under a more rural setting.

Stopped here on Sunday for a hike, lunch, and a visit to the local market. We really enjoyed spending our day here!
The market had a great variety of items, and the live music added a fun touch of entertainment.
The food and service at the restaurant were both great, and the atmosphere was really nice, cozy and welcoming.

We ate in this restaurant on a week nite. We enjoyed the rice dinner for three. Each dish was excellent. Nice cocktails too. The service was excellent. Total bill was $246 (local). Parking was plentiful.

Amazing food. We ate here twice. Loved the surf and turf, everything cooked and seasoned to perfection. Second time we got the buffet, and tried many new foods (visiting from the US). We didn't stay here, but it's worth driving from anywhere on the island for a meal this good in a great open air environment.

Stopped here for dinner and was delightfully surprised by the wonderful ambience and food. Open air seating, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared and reasonably priced. Good kids menu. Service was attentive and fast. Cute pigs on the property were a bonus.

Stopped here for breakfast when we realized porta mari didn't open til 930. Breakfast was delish, I fell in love with the local syrup went perfectly with the French toast. Definitely recommend, a great place for breakfast on the way to the beach!

Nice place and environment. I went to the restaurant one day of local market. Unfortunately at the restaurant, the waiters didn't know details about the menu, delayed attemption and the food was not very nice.

Nice lunch down the street from our Air BnB. The cheese balls and stew were my favorite! There is so much beautiful art inside for purchase as well. Would definitely come back!

We had such a great stay back in February! Great views, plus so much wind coming through that the A/C was not required. The food was absolutely delicious from breakfast to dinner and the buffet they have on the first Friday of the month!

We had our first meal here after a long trip and settling in. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Loved the atmosphere, very relaxing. The drinks were great, and the food was delicious. This is totally worth stopping for a meal.

We had the Indonesian rice table and it was excellent. The food was delicious and the vibe warm and inviting. The owner was friendly, and our waitress provided great service. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience.

We had breakfast here and it was amazing! We had the Vietnamese iced coffee and a passion fruit smoothie. For breakfast we had the pancake and the toastie. The toastie was delicious! So was the pancake, which was similar to a crepe! Absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic!
