Small but cute and comfy resort with beautiful greenery & wonderful staff! I would improve on the restaurant as it took very long to receive our food all the time (40 minutes). Other than that, thank you.

Unfortunately our stay was not a pleasant one. Upon arrival, furnishings in the lobby — filthy. Our room was decent enough but rather old appliances. We ate our meal, which was purchased a nearby market and went to bed. I woke up to RAT DROPPINGS on the sitting area furniture, our bread was eaten and little paw prints from the drink mix it had opened. Needless to say one night was and the staff was anything but helpful. Stay away!

It's a nice place. Needs to have a car or taxi everywhere. Nothing in walking distance.

I don't really like the pool as it has many trees around and does not let the Sun pass well, and it gets dirty as it is already deteriorating.

We stayed at the Moomba Room 704 (Managed by Floris Suites & SPA) The room was beyond acceptable and the worst part is that the general Manager, Mr HOLTSLAG, is fully aware.
(Dear Laurent, Thank you for your e-mail. Yes, I do agree with you that the room is old and we have some work to do. We rented the room for the ocean view and for that part it met our expectations. We wanted to cook our own meals but the hot plates did not work. The worst was the bed, the old… We would have liked to have a few hot water showers. I could comment on the bathroom furniture but at this point just look at the pictures attached.
The switch (half broken) wasn't safe for us to use when wanted to turn the Balcony's light on. The Safe wasn't working
Many little things could be fixed with goodwill and very little investment (switch, utensils, bed, …)
Rule 1 — Never rent a room is which you would not stay yourself Mr Holtslag.
I must say that following my email to Mr Holtslag He offered us an upgrade at the Floris but the trade off would have been the view. Nothing else was done.

We rented a room at Moomba for 1 week (room 704). The room is beyond the acceptable and the worst is that the manager of the Floris, Mr HOLTSLAG, who also manages the Moomba is aware of the situation. (Dear Laurent, Thank you for your email.

The Floris Suite Hotel Curacao is wonderfully located amidst an enormous tropical garden setting. The rooms are all like small and larger suites. I have experienced it utmost comfortable. And a lovely professional staff. It is clean and spacious. One of the extra nice things about Floris is that it has a extra Private beach and a public Beach with a Pirate look and feel atmosphere. The private beach is about a 4-5 minute ride with a complimentary hotel golf car. On this private beach is one (1) ultra modern private bungalow overlooking the Caribbean sea. Ideal for a getaway of honeymoon situation. They have Happy hour programs. And the staff and management of course, is gay "friendly" And for those who wants to challenge public transport. The Bus going to the town Bus terminal are just outside the gate on the road side.

Aufbden First look a great quiet resort that allows for a relaxing holiday. But if you look more closely, no longer so beautiful.
Around the pool there were cigarette butts everywhere the pool was seldom cleaned up at all the conditions of the pool chairs were full of bird all around the pool were remnants of cat a problem with a sort of septic pit has taken care of bad air personnel at the front Desk super and how to expect it.
Staff at the bar and restaurant under All sow! Constant noise nuisance by entertaining staff. You always had the feeling of disturbing.

Just finished my second stay at the Floris. The staff is very nice, but sometimes unhelpful. We called the front desk a few times for things that shouldn't have been a big deal, towels, batteries for the remote, and we either never got what we asked for or had to ask multiple times. The hotel itself needs some work. I realize that not everything can be perfect, but some of linens we're disgusting, they never seemed to have any towels, in the room or by the pool. The pool bar was a ghost town when it came to staff. The food was ok, but pricy. Would recommend if you want a tranquil pool, but that can be had elsewhere.

A modern hotel… very friendly people… Every day happy hour… 2 drinks for free… Nice Hotel and outside area Very nice location… friendly people. The rooms and apartments are very clean. You have got enough space there. Great beach and pool area… The team is great… they are so nice and friendly. You can also rent a car there. There is a casino where you can play. The Hilton is near the pirate bay… you can walk in 5 minutes to pirate bay and tomatoes… Try it…

Second time we stayed at the hotel. It is very comfortable, well located. It has 2 beaches a beach club and pirate Bay. No doubt we prefer the latter which also has a good restaurant!

Perfect for single adults who want to vacation, but like quiet and calm as well. The customer service is great. The owners and managers are friendly. There is the Friday gathering, which is sweet as well.

Overall I would rate the hotel as "ok". It's really a tale of 2 stories for Floris. The positive is the great team that works at the hotel. The overall staff is excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Ryan at the front desk deserves a special shout out for his great service. The hotel itself however is very tired. The rooms, common grounds, pool and in general need significant investment to bring it to best in class. The rooms are very basic and older. Hot water is a struggle in some of the buildings. Beds need updating along with bathrooms. The common grounds need significant landscaping upgrades and maintainece and the pool has many missing tiles and some plaster.

The cleaning staff is super super friendly, not so the front desk, looks like they were angry all the time. They are not attentive or smiling. Very nice apartment. Our electric cooker began to fire smoke with smell of burned wires and the receptionist seemed to not give it importance. We found a dirty towel (really dirty, you know what I mean) hidden above the microwave oven. Good choice, but some things to improve.

The hotel was upscale and clean. Our room, the Imperial suite, was elegant and the bed was very comfortable. Upon check in, we were presented with a problem; the hotel didn't have the room we booked available. And, the room they decided to put is in was less expensive, and simply not as nice. They offered to buy us dinner as a make good; however, I reminded them of the significant difference in price between the two rooms. Fortunately, "Ryan R", took control of our reservation and offered us a solution we found very comparable. Ryan continued to follow up with us throughout our stay to ensure we were taken care of, and happy. His service alone made our trip more enjoyable. The island itself was beautiful with some of the bluest waters I've seen in my life. However, the service throughout Curacao is challenged. I would say the Floris Hotel was better than most other businesses, but still lacked proper staffing (restaurant) and the understanding that the more quickly and often you wait on someone, the more money they will spend. As customers on the island, we never felt "first" in regards to — anything, really.

Very spacious rooms. Nice pool and bar. We was not to impressed with the food on site, but lots of options close by. Would definitely stay again.

The best straight friendly, adult only hotel in Curaçao!

Absolutly a great place to stay. Very friendly staff makes you feel welcome. Beautifull gardens surround the hotel and pool. Good food, spa, small but sufficient gym, happy hour at pool-bar and on top of that they have their own private beach at the Moomba Beach club. Nice mixture of straight and gay people give's the place an international and free atmosphere.

Wonderful hotel with suites instead of rooms; some with complete kitchen, all ver large and beautiful appointed with style and taste. Great pool, lovely beach, with beach house, bar with breakfast, lunch and snacks, gay friendly, lovely gym with steamroom and sauna, dayly happy hour with drinks on the house, lovely restaurant with local dishes and international choices. Worth your choice!

Frindly staff, nice hotel equipped with required amenities. A small kitchen in most of the room. Cleanliness can be improved and also they have to find some way to tackle mosquitoes.

It is a lovely small hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. It is nicely decorated and has enough amenities to support an enjoyable vacation. Rooms are equipped with a kitchenette for those on a budget to prepare small meals. There is also an onsite restaurant available as well. The beach is a short walk across the street but a ride in a golf cart is available upon request. I had an enjoyable time at Floris and would recommend it as a viable option.

First of all: it's dirty. We even changed a room, because it was just impossible to stay in the first one. The second one was better, but still not clean. A lot of dust everywhere and OMG we found a pair of dirty underwear and a towel under the bed. I am so happy we didn't stay long in this hotel. We mostly spent our time on the beach. I don't want to know how they clean the spa and pool areas, so we decided not to use them at all. Everybody says that the staff is very friendly. Seriously? Not even a little smile. The safe was broken in our room, we asked to fix it, but no one came. And yes — women are not allowed to the SPA after 6pm. LGBT friendly? No, only men-gay friendly.

While having "let me spoil you" on the shirt, there were only a few people on the staff taking that serious. Apartment, hotel and pool were okay, clean and maintained enough to pass, but not as clean as I would've liked. Bathroom in apartment was bad. Gay friendly, maybe, but not gender neutral. Closing down part of the hotel to certain genders after a certain time does not seem like a good way to treat guests. Overall a nice stay and enough facilities around the hotel to go and do everything every day. When staying at Floris I'd recommend also visiting the pirate bay, as a Floris guest you get free beach access and the cocktails there are hard to beat.

Not quite at the top. The Hotel is in a very good setting and a very nice environment. Although a little indented. You have to be convey to get access to the nearest supermarket where a taxi will ask you a minimum of $20 to deposit. The beach Moomba Beach one of the most pleasant we have seen that is a few meters on foot is what best offers the establishment. The pool was similar to the very spacious picture and the setting very pleasant, I could only enjoy once the spa which is reserved for men from 6pm. I actually saw a man in the hot tub naked in the middle of the day. The breakfast that is a bit expensive is not at all up to par. At our arrival, we did not even have the right to have a single bottle of water in the room which are made paying. The staff in particular of the reception is not to the point of everything and is not pleasant except a young man very nice and very available with us. Be careful when booking as the pictures of the rooms are deceptive and mixed we had booked for a loft in the end we had a junior suite, asking for account the employee could not give us real answers and was rather Anxious. For a four star hotel the service expected to the clientele is almost absent. Besides the hellos is not putting for many employees.
As for the island, the people there are really unpleasant and not the same sense of politeness that we will feel of your arrival at the airport.

The best hotel and I have been in many all over the world and The Floris is above all in cleanliness, staff courtesy, they go to the Max to make sure that your stay is comfortable and smooth. You want to stay here when in Curacao, and you will be delighted to meet Mrs. Zoleyka Rodriguez a truly pleasant and radiant smile lady.

The staff here is amazing. No vegan food on the menu. Beautiful grounds. Excellent suites.

We stayed 4 nights in a pool view suite. The rooms are very large and have a well equipped kitchen. The hotel has its own beach between the Marriott and the Hilton with adequate shadow places. The beach is 5 minutes walking from the hotel but on request a golf car will bring you there. Dining in their restaurant is a gastronomic experience (at 200 ANG including wines and liquors)
