their staff is unique, they are of excellence, a 1st and super hot treatment. A spectacular, delicious and varied buffet. All super clean. Delicious drinks to choose from, the area in which it is located allows you to tour the city. What more could you ask for. 5* plus for Club Tropical.

I spent for the second year my holiday at this family-friendly hotel. We had a great time looking forward to coming back in 2019. The staff is very friendly the comfortable rooms and the buffet acceptable.

I will begin with the positives of this resort because that list is far shorter. The beach was beautiful and clean. The location of the resort was great. Staff were friendly but mainly spoke Spanish with very little knowledge of any other languages. The Ac worked as well as the Tv. Pool was clean and warm. The food was alright but not anything to be desired. Now to bring up the negative of this resort. They advertise a lot of items on this resort that are either non existent or very terrible. 1. First of all we spent 7 days at this resort and they did not change the sheets at all for the entire 7 days. We knew this due to myself and my friends makeup rubbed off on the white sheets the first day and remained there until the day we left. 2. We did not have hot water for the shower. The entire trip 3. We had bugs in our room (not in the bed) due to the lack of sweeping and mopping in our hotel room. 4. They advertised Wi-Fi in the lobby, beach towels provided, bar on the beach, smoke free property, wake up call service, gym and cocktails. There was no Wi-Fi in the hotel, you had to walk 6 blocks to another hotel to stand outside and use it. Super inconvenient when trying to book flights and check flight updates. Beach towels were not provided period. There was no bar on the beach at all. People were smoking all over the hotel, in the lobby, in hallways and didnt have a problem blowing it into your face.

It is a quiet hotel needs a renovation, in the apartments K overlook the sea but it was worth it for that beautiful beach The staff K works there I think K needs to retire some, but very happy with the trunk and Mrs K is in reception (Luisa) very amab Very good price if you hire by agency.

I absolutely loved this resort, it's a bit of a smaller one, but it's right downtown within walking distance to shopping, the mall, bank, food, bars, bus stop… etc. The food at the hotel was good, but the same for most part, as I said there's so many food options, there's a nice pizza place down the road and it's extremely cheap to eat out 20CUC for four people, or another location that serves fries and burgers etc. They do have a snack bar at the resort as well. It's an beachfront resort and it's all inclusive. The staff is so friendly, and since it's so small you get to know them quite well. I honestly would recommend this resort to someone who is adventurous, just because of the location. If you end up going to Havana you can hire a taxi for the day and negotiate a rate, four of us went for $150 cuc (tip included) they have things like kayaking, going on the boats, nighttime shows and so on. The ocean is so clear and you're able to swim in it without any fish or anything. 10/10 recommend *don't tip in Canadian $$, it's useless to them and convert your money to CUC not USD.

You broke a key in the bathroom and the person on duty for the night said not to leave tools for the night or is this there for taste, the shower is not heating up, and dineron they could not do anything the pool the cleaned water buckets, food very good, the treatment very good, but the quality of the hotel very very bad and there is no parking at the hotel is closed there is that pay at the side of the hotel to leave the car. In the restaurant if you don't tip the captain puts braba and not serves you more and points to the cdo enter, throw to him a lot of ice to refresh them is left to them. In the end it is very expensive to be such poor service, hopefully it fixed for the next year.

The hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The care is very good, but it more than 3 stars for the 3 that you have!

The hotel is past his prime. Location for the hotel is excellent. The all inclusive program corresponds to the hotel category. The traveler must realize that it is in Cuba. I was satisfied.

Basic Hotel in Varadero. Not a 3.5 plus a 2.5 Star.

Just got back from 1 week stay 1st time at Tropical. March 6th 2016 Food was as good or better than other 4 — 4 1/2 stars in Cuba we have stayed at. Room was 3 star, road side is quieter, got moved to ocean view at no extra charge. Was nice to be in town and take part in anything you wanted to at your door step. Resort is small music is load, only place to hide from it is ocean beach. Pool is only 3 feet deep in middle, so if your pool people this may not be the place for you. Had a great time met some nice people, thought it was worth the money.

Really I find it shabby and dirty and you eat badly try to believe.

Nice hotel. The first line, its equipped beach. Restaurant-hungry will definitely not stay. And, in general, in Cuba to sit in the hotel is not necessary. It is better to rent a car and drive around the country. Impressions will be the sea!
