I am very satisfied with everything, m loved, very good service really despite being closed for a long time as all inclusive, I have gone to other 4 and 5 star and nothing q send them. I recommend it my people.

Everything was super we had a nice good service.

Although it only boasts three stars there are details that make it superior the service is excellent, the courteous and professional treatment of its staff makes you feel truly at home.
Although at first I had my reservations about the new modality, which seems to extend in tourism, in which it is not "all inclusive", for me it is better and pleases me more, although it has some discomforts that still need to be perfected. For example, the current scenario of energy instability was not taken into account: how is consumption resolved now? You can not charge because there is no post and you can not dispense a beer for the same reason, because everything works with electricity and the hotel generator set does not have diesel. What to do then to satisfy guests who have already paid for their stay? How to provide the service so that the guest does not lose a good part of his stay in the hotel due to lack of services in the bar because of the blackout? Cubanacan Management to think!

Great experience! All staff were amazing except the restaurant Benny Moore situated outside main building. We had a booking staff would not let us in until 8pm exactly eventhough they were all standing around chatting, the service was terrible the staff were very rude! We sat for over an hour before given a menu then another hour later still no one had taken our order! We were there with children and had to leave as no one would serve us maybe because we are Irish and not Cuban? I don’t know but this was our only bad experience and it nearly ruined the whole holiday! Everyone had been so nice except this place. On one occasion the pool snack bar outside main building wouldn’t serve us drinks as they said they had no plastic cups we paid all inclusive to ensure the 5 children would be able to drink! In that heat to refuse a drink to children was wrong so I asked for actual glasses! As they couldn’t do that! It’s a pity there were those experiences.

At the moment it is very good worthy for Cubans and very good attention and quality and variety of food despite the difficult situation that our province lives.

My family was a faithful admirer of Guardalavaca hotels, at the moment I do not recommend it, according to they say they try to maintain a correct interaction with the customers, and believe me q is not so, crowd everyone at 12 for a group entrance, where all the customers are eager to enter the hotel, and no one respects eer the order of arrival or the estating, other than the few offers, only the installation of the hotel pool is available and not a coffee I have been able to drink, because there is no, and more …

The excellent care of their workers and the exquisite varieties of dishes offered in the buffet and restaurants specializing. Very pleased with this hotel and with their animators. See you on the day 9th August, because that's where my home away from home.

Everything was great! My air conditioner didnt work, I called front desk within 10 minutes someone came, got it working. The room was very clean, friendly staff everywhere, front desk staff were great n helpful, The best place away from Home♥️

I have been this hotel several times since 2005 — it feels like going home every time. Beautiful beaches, amazing staff, great location as you can go in to the. Nearby town or to Banes. Undoubtedly my favourite place in Cuba!

Been coming here since 2014 and its certainly is home away from home. When George the general manager took over, it was the best choice as this man is doing so many positive improvements for Club Amigo! He listens to the suggestions of the guests he may not be able to do every request but he tries to please everyone. Well done George it's a pleasure knowing you!

The food and staff were amazing! loved the beach.

Nice and clean Hotel. Next to the beach which is like a Caribbean Paradise. Food in the Restaurants are great. Good Entertainment Programm (thanks to Lester, Rami, Dianelis and Roger). Many different bars with nice drinks. I Love the Cocktails from the Pirate beachbar (thank you Danielo for the great Service). The only thing I didnt like was the buffet restaurant. To much Chaos.
All in all a perfect holiday and I will come back for sure. Greetings from Germany.

I love this hotel. One of my favourite places to be in Guardalavaca. Bennys has incredible food. The staff is so incredible and accomadating. The beach is amazing and so beautiful with small cove areas, its breathtaking. Its close to the local boulevard and the restaurants at the top of the cliff past the public beach if you like to adventure. The new disco could be better but we just go to the old one still. Looking forward to my next trip out there.

If you want to vacation as Cubans do then this is the place for you. You won't see many "foreigners" at this resort, but it is my top pick each time I visit. Food is decent and rooms are clean, maid service is great. Snack bar which you will definitely frequent has burgers and ham and cheese sandwiches. Our fave spot for breakfast and lunch is always El Benny. Remember to tip!

People leaving bad reviews you should go to 5 star places, this is 3 star resort with amazing views, beaches and very friendly and most safety place for family's vacations. Drinks and every meal you can get here is lots of different choices and it's fair. Could be better organized by management but while people come from all around world who can please them all. Canadian TD Visa works in nearby village ATM just ask some local taxi drivers. Views are amazing, lots of positive memories you will bring with you. With small tip to stuff everything changes! Definitely recommend!

I recently stayed here in one of the villas. For a 3 * hotel it was amazing. Had a balcony overlooking the pool. Room was clean and room service was great. Friendly hotel staff and amazing entertainment. I would go back there again and definitely recommend this place.

Since the moment we got there, we could enjoyed how beautiful is the hotel, the people at the door is so friendly, also the people in the front desk is so professional, who gave us an upgrade room with beach and pool view, all the facilities are so clean. The buffet is not the best but we can’t complain when we have free drink and free food all the time. The rooms are clean and the Housekeepers are very helpful, the people at the bars are always ready to give you the best drinks and good coffees. Note do not drink the coffee at the buffet because is very bad, the beach is so beautiful and clean and the water are so fun and the beach attendants are very nice. Btw do not forget to go to the street party which takes place every Saturday night from 9 pm till 2 am. I would come back.

This resort is at the bottom of the price spectrum for reason. The rooms are rundown and and In I’ll repair even for Cuba standards. We had to move rooms three times and eventually paid to upgrade just to have beds that had intact headboards, working outlets and curtains without mold. We flew with the Sunwing tour operator and were not only poorly treated like cattle during all travel; our concerns were not addressed and we’ve received no response to emails. The beach is unclean and the possibility of having your resort issued beach towel stolen, leaving you with a C$20 charge is quite high. The problems seem endemic. The clientele who return here appear to do so for the ability to smoke where ever they wish and excessively drink cheap alcohol. Some of the restaurants had a few very repetitive dishes that were tolerable but no one goes to Cuba for the food.

You should improve the service options and increase the availability of the bar service especially in the evenings, otherwise good beach, pools and food. Good for family sharing and options for kids.

Great three star resort. Don't eat at the buffet — have breakfast at Benny's. Excellent beach view and ocean. My favourite Cuban resort.

A little disorganized and Cuban rhythm (read waiting time). Crumbling rooms. I had one with a terrible stench of smoke. I made it change the next day and they gave me a pool and sea front (see picture taken from the window) definitely better. (But it would be the case to change the locker in the bathroom!, see photo). The themed restaurants are great but book absolutely in time otherwise there is no more room and you have to eat in the usual buffet lounge type factory refectory.

Beaches are absoultly amazing and clean. Very big resort so many places to eat, drink and swim. Food is half decent as long as your not a picky eater. Room's are dated but cleaned well by the staff; I would recommend upgrading your room. I felt very safe and the locals were pretty nice. I loved the 24 hour bar, as it always had fries, hamburgers and hot dogs; I would recommend bring a speaker if you like music.

The food is not very good, swimming pool is good of course. But this is Cuba, we cannot expect much.

Very nice trip to this hotel. The small villas and bungalows are very clean as the majority of the site. Only shadow in the picture the main Motel, the rooms are really disgusting so if you go there ask for the villas or bungalow. The beach is public also so you have to arrive early on the beach to have chairs otherwise the Cubans take the appropriate without too much trouble so it's not nice. But otherwise very nice cheap place to enjoy the sun and the beach.

The villas rooms are very good. My mom was in a tropical section room and it looked a lot like a prison cell. The snack bar was making some bad burgers, my sister eating one that had a pile of hair and bones in it. The beach is beautiful but a little rocky.

If you don't care about the room or the food, and love a beautiful beach, this is an awesome destination. The grounds are pretty. The AC in our room worked well. But that's where the positives stop. The food is bland and unattractive (even for a buffet). The beds are uncomfortable and old. The staff are helpful when they are in a good mood.

We met many people who go back to this resort year after year and I can't figure out why. Even the staff refer to the standard rooms as "the dungeons" or, when being candid, "s**t holes. " The food was atrocious. By the end of the week we, and many of the other guests we met, were fantasizing about food and what we were going to eat when we got home. Also, be very, very careful if you have food allergies — cross contamination is rampant. No vegetarian or vegan options. And there seems to be zero hygiene standards. Beach was lovely. Weather was good when we were there. Cockroaches and rats in the rooms.

The resort has improved since we were there one year ago. The physical space is better. The food is fine but this is only about a 2 star resort so don't expect amazing. It is good and basic. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

Guys, very nice hotel for Cuban standards. The tap water tastes like sea, you can drink, do not poison, but is filtered at the reception. We took her in the little garden, there is a huge filter installation. The number of rooms is good, everything worked, all arranged. Food Yes, tired at the end of the vacation, but a whole lot, and in abundance. There are always a few meat dishes and side dishes to choose from. There are snacks in the poolside bars, burgers, hotdogs, pizza. And again, poisoning was not the case. I don't eat there) and Excellent cocktails make the pool in the Central part of the "Tropicana" pool area "Bungalow" on the beach "Pirat". Generally the cocktail list they have is great! The staff does not speak Russian (but learn to successfully) ) ) the Territory is large and green, the ocean is very beautiful, turquoise) there are coral reefs. You can purchase nearby 5 cook =5 hours. This card is reusable. At least for the 5 minute visit per day, 20 times. But Wi Fi only at the reception (no second-hand market, a large reception area). Very convenient to get and not expensive, compared to roaming from any operator of the Russian Federation. Cleaned every day, we left at 1 cook. Theft no. And one more thing, the evening shows are mostly in English and Spanish, there are interesting programs. Sometimes even karaoke, but the Russian songs there. So, in the future take it with you) ) ) We loved it!

The hotel is great, everything is good, the beach is nice, but the problem was water had speciiically smell. Later eliminated. Lived 6 nights all comfortable. The Internet reception is weak. Card in the presence of 1.5 €

The club Amigo is a low end that has the advantage of being well located, the beach is beautiful and the clientele is composed largely of people who returns there from year to year. It is easy to make friends during the stay. A la carte restaurants are excellent, the buffet is by definition repetitive then it is up to you to create the variety.
P. S. The pirate in the small private bay makes excellent cocktails!
