Do not recommend to anyone. No electricity for a significant part of the day throughout the building and the staff didn’t not bother informing me or setting up alternate arrangements. Keep in mind, a few hotels across the street had electricity so they should not have an excuse. Also, even when electricity was around, the room smelled bad which was worse because my room had no ventilation or windows. The building was run down with broken elevators which wasn’t an issue for me as I was travelling light but could be for some. In terms of staff, asked them if it was possible to get laundry done and they didnt know whether or not it could be arranged! I asked about where I could get info on tours and the lady at the front desk said she didn’t know any tour guides (which wasn’t what I asked for btw) and then remembered a friend who could give me a tour for 3 hours for like 40cuc I think. I asked what was included in the tour and she Couldn’t tell me… I ended up not doing that and went on a free walking tour instead which was totally worth it. Breakfast is included but the omelet I got on one of the days had a hair on it. If you’re at the cafe ordering something, make sure to ask for the bill at the end. I’m pretty sure I ended up paying 1 cuc extra for juice + water. Paying 1 cuc extra is not the issue. The fact that I was probably lied to is. Honestly, they should not be calling themselves a hotel because that sets different expectations for guests.

I payed for a superior room and got a room with no windows, poor lightning, the room was poorly cleaned, the A/C did so much noise that was impossible to even talk with it on, found a cockroach in the toilet and the elevator was broken down and with an almost open elevator shaft, the staff was nice and location was very central but its just an old 1 star hotel at most.
