I'm not sure what is the deal with these bad reviews. I think there's a lot of people who needs to take some good reading lessons. The owners of the property wrote everything about the property and absolutely everything was as they wrote. People expect to give little money to be in 5 star hotel and than write bad review because they need to use STAIRS to come to the property (that is written to) and they are not able to go to back yard that is not even in their ownership.
Owners are very polite, friendly and kind. Room was pretty decent and it was enough for the money we gave. You are 20 minutes away of the city center if you are into walking. There's bakery and supermarket very near the property.
Bad thing for us was shared bathroom (they wrote that too), because usual selfish people don't have awareness of other people and use that bathroom as camping-spa-smoking zone and sometimes you need to wait for hours for your basic needs.
Let me start with the owners. They are really nice and kind people, whenever you run into them, they will check on you, if you need anything extra, etc… They also maintain the property very well and everything is clean.
Rooms are in good condition and have an air conditioner. If you are staying during colder periods you will find the heading to be very good. Hair drier, clean towels, water heater and glasses are all available. TV has around 20 local programs, and local Wifi is really good.
That said, we accidentally booked a shared bathroom room. Let me tell you, it wasn't fun experience. This is one of those things where you can be extremely lucky with other people who are staying, or just outright crazy.
Other than that, the bathroom was always really clean, there was always warm water available,
What's good to be mentioned when it comes to what people expect: the building itself is very old, probably from 19th century, and many times if people are just regularly walking to the toilet you will hear it. There's also tram rails right below 2-3 rooms which you can hear during the day and night.
Personally, I didn't mind any of this, since I grew up in the city centre in an old building so this wasn't that big of a deal for me, but for sure if you have light sleep, or trouble falling asleep I wouldn't recommend booking a stay here.
Other then that, location is really good.
