Wallaby Saranda was an incredible experience. Awesome staff, great location, sick view, and the building is brand new! We really enjoyed our stay and won't be forgetting our time in Saranda anytime soon.

If you want a social family atmosphere with great workers, a great area to relax, great amenities and about 100 other great features, this is the hostel for you. Don’t expect an 8pm bedtime, but expect some life long memories and maybe a few forgotten ones.

Had the most epic time with these crazy cats. The beer pong games were a highlight and everyone was super friendly and accommodating.

The best hostel in Croatia along side the Whole Wide World. Brilliant atmosphere, awesome location and amazing staff. Couldn't ask for anything more. Cracker, you're a bloody legend. 10/10.

Honestly the best hostel I have stayed in Europe so good I came back again a year later. This time with my girlfriend which was her first ever stay in a hostel and she loved it! Great staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Great hostel for both chilling and drinking. You have the choice to do both. If you going to Zagreb make sure to stay in the WALLABY House :) 5/5

Alert: This hostel is very cozy, fun and relaxing. You may end up staying a lot longer than you think. The place feels like as if you moved into a house full of friends. I checked in for 2 nights and ended up staying for 10. I was starting to think I would never leave the establishment. But seriously, if you're not tight on schedule, you're probably gonna stay for quite a while longer. The establishment is very spacious so don't worry if you have an absurdly large luggage. The hostel is a bit away from old town but located very close to the bus station. This might seem like a big deal, but I assure you that you will appreciate this when you're taking 05:45AM bus to Plitvice Lake. Besides you can take a tram for less than 10 minutes to get to the city center. (One tram ride is 4 kuna and no one ever pays) The owner and volunteers are amazing. They always make sure their guests are having a good time and help out as much as they can. They like to have fun so they play games with guests everyday and go out at night frequently. However, they also make sure the establishment is quiet after 11pm so that tired guests can sleep in peace. Lochi, the owner, and the volunteers (Oscar, Kate, Laura and Gwen) have been nothing but amazing (except for the last beer pong; Oscar and Lochi were basically teasing mocking me and Kate. Becareful. They're really good at beer pong). If You're a backpacker looking for a great time in Zagreb, this is the place.

Lovely and amazing hosts, cheap stay, lots of games and awesome pasta with beer… Really close to the bus station. I definitely would stay here again when I visit Zagreb in future.

After three months of travelling around Europe, I haven't found a hostel with the all-round great qualities of Wallaby House. If there's one place I would revisit simply for the hostel it would be Zagreb. Very social with an ideal common area, clean, great kitchen with free Milo, the list goes on. Definitely a home away from home where you can chill, party or somewhere in between! The staff were great and the owner Cracker is the best hostel owner you will meet and actually cares about how his guests are going. I highly recommend participating in Greatest Fucking Game Show Ever and pub crawls. And if you're wondering where you can celebrate your birthday, Wallaby made my first birthday abroad one of the best.

The wallaby house … Is like a home. I loved the atmosphere! It is an actual house… so on each floor you have bedrooms. With a bathroom. Some so what divided so they could fit in an extra shower… So more people could use the bathroom at once. But like I said each floor has a bathroom and there are 4 floors. The beds are comfortable! The kitchen is big and homey and well equipped. There is a lot of partying! And the next day wachting films all together in the couches in the living room! A lovely atmosphere! The pubcrawls and the gamenights and Halloween party all subliem so much fun! And thanks that I could stay for closing party! I had a blast!

The best hostel I've stayed at. A great atmosphere, good for those who want to party or those who want to relax! Cracker (the owner) is an absolute legend and makes sure guests are always enjoying themselves. Quiz show nights, BBQs, pub crawls and pancakes! There is always something going on at The Wallaby. The location is great! A very short walk to Zagreb Central Bus Station and a short tram ride into the old town. Highly recommended!

I suffered a severely sprained ankle prior to my arrival to Wallaby Hostel. The whole time I was there I was assisted by the friendly staff. I was even given free food, a beer, a walking stick, and help carrying my bags in and out of the hostel. The kindness shown to me will never be forgotten.

Had an absolutely fantastic time, staff are brilliant, cheap beer, great pub crawls, excellent beer pong! Made me feel more than welcome with beer, cake, and chat as a solo traveller, really recommend.

Decent location (not that far walking distance from the Bus Terminal) and easy/close access to local transit. I felt a bit old being here, as most of the people in my hostel were in their early 20s. If you're into partying and drinking, this is definitely the place to stay. Stayed in a private room (with shared bathroom) ; room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was also very clean. Decent sized backyard.

One of the best hostels I have been. A warm welcome with coffee and tea, instead of just checking in. Big living room, perfect to meet people, watch movies, drink or make music. Near to the busstation, tram almost stops in front of the door. Take the tram to trainstation and walk through the beautyful, cozy parks to the city center. Go there!

I stayed at this hostel for a week with a group workshop and it was one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Close to the bus station, nice polished floors and very spacious rooms. The owner was very entertaining and accommodating.

The best hostel in which was absolutely I :) Rooms are comfortable, excellent beds, very clean and the crew is mega. Helpfulness is written and always for a drink on the terrace to have large: P only more so. Then in 2 months! Michi.

Surprisingly clean and cosy accommodation with friendly staff which makes you feel at home in no time. The House Hostel in Zagreb could have easily been named The Best Hostel in Zagreb.

Nickel hostel, it's like home (really, it is laid out like a big house). Close to downtown, friendly welcome.
