Taban Rooms Hostel

Great location, very close and very convenient parking for 24 hours (6, 80 euros), cleaning and kindness of the staff! Very nice street and full of clubs that do not disturb and turn off the music early.
Remember to have dinner by 9.30pm otherwise you won't eat in Zagreb anymore!

We got such a warm welcome from The really funny woman behind the Desk! Rooms were really clean and nice. We slept like angels and overall a really pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend :)

I absolutely love this place! I firstly planned to stay here for one night, but because Zagreb and this hostel surprised me in a positive way I decided to stay a bit longer. The staff is very helpfull and they make sure you feel comfortable. Besides that the rooms are clean, in a good condition, the facilities are good and the location of the hostel is just perfect; right in the center but altough it is not too crowded. I have stayed in many hostels but this one is by far t…he best! Thanks for everything and see you soon guys! X.

So we stayed here for one night, the room was ok but not very clean and the linens didn't make the best impression. The location however is perfect. The price is ok but you get better for less. The staff was helpful and friendly. Don't try the cocktails at the bar, the beer is way better.

Bad attention. Extremely hot and the shower was not working.

The room was not so nice. The beds smelled from the sweat other persons. There was no wardrobe for a jacket. The bathroom was ok. The hostel was right in the town, that was super. Everybody was friendly. There was no fan.

We stayed in a dormitory room instead of a double room, because it was raining they said, even though it was all ours it was not really comfortable. Also it didn’t look very clean. The location is good.

Price vs quality very very good! in the city center, v friendly staff and a nice bar in groundfloor very close to all places to go vivid street with bars that it is located is the biggest plus of this place!

I ve made those guys crazy, but they kept their cool and were always friendly.

Its very basic. Not that good except the price. It they charged 10 Euros only. But the facility are very basic. Night lights of beds are not working in dorm. There is no individual charging points and common area is not available. Though the Location is fair.

Very close to the center of Zagreb. This street is full of restaurants. The room is not bad. As for view from the window of the vineyard it is generally beautiful. But there are also remarks. To our arrival still there was a room cleaning. Bed linen is very old. There's a bar downstairs where everyone smokes.

Very nice place, employees are really polite and friendly, its like you know them for ages. Been there once but I felt like im at home. Also, location cant be better. See you again in few weeks!

In the center, 5 min from the main square. Recomend to everyone. Price and quality. 10/10

Very disapointed
At first sight, the room looked okay, but then the problems came up — no shower hanger, mould, the window couldn't be fully closed, the Wi-Fi was poor in some of the rooms, the bar was super smokey and my friends on the first floor couldn't sleep from the music and chatter in the bar. But even this wasn't the most annoying thing. It was the attitude of the manager towards our problems. They sent us a guy who coulnd't fix any of the problems and the manager was reluctant to be helpful. She obviously couldn't establish a normal communication with her staff and we, as guests, suffered from that. The only explanation we got was: This is the cheapest price you'll find at this location. Well, the location is the only reason I'm not rating the hostel with 1*.

The staff very friendly and helpful and location very central, but the shared bathroom dirty, not being cleaned, the shower leaked and ended up wallowing in a puddle. There was No shampoo or bubble bath.
The Room was very small
The walls too thin, you could hear the toilet flush from the room.

Close to the center and perfect for those who want to experience the city.

Everything was great. Just what we were looking for. Walking distance from all important sites and a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to visit again.

I was very pleased with the service of personnel (receptionist) and the coziness of the bed. Despite being in the centre of the city it was very quiet and I could sleep very well. I recommend it.

A bit of cleaning in the bathroom is not faulty.

Rooms seems like in a *** hotel — fantastic personal. They even have rooms without shared bathroom — was a very nice stay, absolutely to recommend!

I stayed here for a night before leaving Zagreb to head to Split. My room was not cleaned when it was time to check in and it smelled of cigarette smoke. This hostel is located in a prime area for eating, and experiencing Zagreb night life. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

Helpful and friendly staff, room was not as though it appeared in pictures but was clean and had everything we needed for a stop over. Excellent location and good, cheap parking.

Staff is really nice, easy going and so helpful. Don't you know where to go first? Do you need a map of city? Would you like order the taxi? Ask their! They'll help you with smile on the face. One more thing — my dog is satisfied as well.

This place was super friendly, really clean and in the centre of town near everything :) I highly recommend this place and I will come and stay again :)

Perfect location, clean rooms. Don't forget to ask for an air — conditioned room if you are visiting in the summer!

It's ok. There was a private party in the basement + a bit crowded when I was there. But the staff is very nice.

The place is nice, reasonable prices, you can order hookah.

It's very clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to share a beer. ;) They accept payment in euros which is nice when you're a foreigner.

We stayed at the hostel just for one night, all in all it was okay, the room was not very tidy and the shared bathroom was very wet. The window in the room is very small, so you couldn't really ventilate new air into the room. On the other hand, the stuff was very helpful and the location of the hostel in the citycenter is great.

I was staying in the 6 man dorm with 3 friends; all our first time in Zagreb. Felt very safe with enough space for all. Taban Hostel is ideally located, very well priced with lovely staff and clean rooms. Points of interest: — Great bar man called Tony. — Hilarious breakfasts in the basement. Sometimes feels like your in a club at 8am. — Reception great at providing tourist info.

I love to come here with my company, this is the best karaoke bar. Although our bad singing and dancing, we never stop performances. Entertainment is guaranteed, the staff is always happy to see us on Friday night.

I was just passing through Zagreb, stayed just two days but loved the location of hostel and if I'll ever pass through Zagreb again I'll definitely stay there again. Clean and free Wi-Fi. Thumbs up.

Great place, nice big room and very clean bathroom. Free and strong Wi-Fi, free towels, breakfast and best location possible, dead city center! Practicly new so a bit underequipped (e. G. Some wires hanging out of the ceiling and lack of decoration in the staircays/hallway), however the bar/club is fantastic, both design and the events there (was when DJ was playing. ). Would love to come back in the summer! Samo tako dalije, super ste, Zagreb rocks.
