My Way House Hostel

This place has pros and cons. The room is fine, nice lockers. Airconditioning is also there, which is really nice. Service is great. Restaurant is also nice, not expensive. Cons are the facilities: shower is not very clean and the kitchen is practically useless.

Veeeery hot in our rooms and in the corridor when going upstairs. Bathrooms are not very practical one of them was broken and no space to hang your clothes. BUT location is great close from the train station and not so far from nighlife area and staff were amazingly helpful and very nice. It was a great welcome to the country arriving there.

Close to the bus station, warm during summer as without AC or anything. Shower are average. Can't cook in hostel kitchen. Each bed has huge drawer under where you can put even your big backpack. Each bed also has two plugs, which is very useful.

Good price. 15 minute walk from the center. 8 persons pr room. Really hot during the summer as the AC isn't running and you only have the windows. Staff seems nice. Toilets and bathrooms weren't the most clean, but it was okay.

Location is perfect, 10 minute walk from the bus station and ten minute walk into the centre square. Staff are lovely and the hostel has everything you need.

Close to the downtown and close to the bus station. So its location is very good. Friendly staff :)

Nice, cozy… it loses one star because the kitchen is a mess.

Clean and cheap. The people in the front desk are all kind and helpful would definitely stay there again.

Distance from old town about 15 minutes walk. The owner is very good. Room is clean & big. Got restaurant nearby.

Exetremelly generous staff, Clean hostel, Grat location and they have really great pizza/pasta restaurant just bellow, they also serve breakfast there.

A very nice cozy hostel, clean (the bathroom and shower were very clean, which is great). A small kitchen with basic utensils such as plates, mugs, glasses, some silverware, a fridge and a water boiler. The bed was comfortable. We were met by a very friendly receptionist :) The only thing I found a little inconvenient was that there were no bedstands or bed side tables, as well as no shelves or anything like that to put clothes and towels on in one of the showers. Other than that — a great place to stay the night!

I hate to leave a bad review but I have to share my experience: I got bitten by bedbugs here (on september 19th 2017) I have bites all over my body and I actually saw the bugs. they offered me a new room and when I didn't want to stay a second night they gave me a refund. Staff was really nice and helpful. It was not the cleanest place (especially the kitchen) but the bathrooms were okay. I would not stay here again. If you stay here make sure to check for bed bugs! the restaurant under the hostel was really nice though!

There is a very good restaurant next door, but the hostel itself… nothing special, but not really bad either.

Clean enough with the facilities you need. Restaurant next door that serves a reasonable breakfast, easy to get to, pretty central. Shared rooms are up a few flights of stairs.

Amazing hostel. Great room with AC. Girl at the entrance very helpful. We booked a tour to Plevnice and it was a game changer. Great hostel. Only the people at the reception at nihght are not the best but its in every hostel like that. Great hostel. We stronhly recommend. Great vibes and room.

Plain hostal. Not good, not bad. People at reception could be nicer.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
They helped me find transportation for my next destination and even offered to do my laundry for free because they didn't have many sheets to wash.
They also have a bar on the ground floor with very good price and very good food. Definitely a place to go back!

Terrible and rude staff. There are two male reception staff. One of them is okay. And one female staff member — who is the single worst hotel/hostel employee I've ever encountered in my life and I travel a lot! I couldn't believe how rude she was. I asked her if she could order some food for me from the restaurant downstairs. She seemed to agree. A few hours later, I asked her if she had ordered. She acted surprised that I wanted her to order anything and asked if I'd like her to do so then. I said yes. A couple hours later, I asked again, and again she looked incredulous. At this point I was very hungry so I told her (politely) to forget about it and I would just go out. She responded by calling me crazy. I said I'm not crazy and she started yelling at me, then cursing at me and saying obscene things. There was no excuse for this. The next morning I told the male staff about this and they seemed unconcerned. I had been a guest at this hostel for two weeks at this point. Then later one of the guys at the front desk (March 5) told me that they were full and I couldn't stay there. I checked online and there were many vacancies… so he was just being a jerk. I was quiet, respectful, followed all the rules during my whole stay. This was completely uncalled for.

Location is very good, place is clean and staff is polite. But it is way to hot — no oxygen in the rooms, kitchen is to small and only one for all three floors, and also there is no proper common space/ living room to hang out in.

Good clean hostel! Well organised and they have a bar and seating area outside. The staff was a bit pushy about selling bits tickets though.

Staff is great and location is quite good.

Clean hostel with large kitchen. Each bed has its own electric plug and lamp. In between tourist attractions, a number of bus stops, and the main bus station.

Good location, but room smells bad, TV was not working and if you check out early you might have a problem to find someone at the reception.

Nice — good location and very nice staff.

Cheap and good. You got what you pay for.
