Main Square Hostel Hostel

Great location, we got to watch the Croatia vs Nigeria match at the square which was right at our doorstep! Great staff! Maya, Lidya and Peter are such wonderful people. Ask them for recommendations and they do not hesitate to help you. Great experience. Left a piece of my heart here.

Beautiful hostel in prime location. Priced also great. Parking garages are also available in the 1km radius for a small fee.
Especially recommended for a city break to Zagreb.

Here is my experience:
+ Clean rooms and washrooms
+ cheap guard options for clothes
+ for closed windows NO noise emission
+ large beds (I myself am 2, 01m tall)
+ Rainforest shower
+ spacious locker
+ Friendly and competent staff
+ Perfect location in the city centre
— when windows are open, there is enormous noise level
— there is only a low air circulation in the sleeping boxes
— just 2 showers for the men throughout the corridor
— the elevator looks ramshackle
For women: I was divided into a women's room with a mate. May lead to unpleasant atmosphere. After we asked for a change of room, out of consideration towards the woman, 2 free beds were quickly found in a men's room. So if society doesn't suit you, room changes are quick and straightforward!

Service kind, environment perfect. Nice bad, locate at down town.

Apperently it is normal according to the manager to have flow of bugs on the Floor by april… had to sleep on the couch.

It is clean and convenient. Friendly staff. I have only stayed one night but check in was easy and the location was great.

Kind and friendly receptionists, creative ideas of basic design. Fresh food brought to every breakfast. Few toilet and bath, but this is a hostel not a hotel.

Really friendly staff. Each room is very modern, with individually allocated beds and lockers (with key). Towels are provided for free! I really enjoyed staying here and the Wi-Fi is fast. The kitchen could do with a few more things (pots/pans, stove) for people who are traveling for longer. Otherwise, I had an excellent trip and enjoyed staying here!

We stayed here with our 3 young kids and absolutely loved it. The prime location was our draw but it was also super clean. We loved the cubby beds because it felt like everyone had some privacy. Way better than a hotel room!

Offers a very relaxed and hygienic stay. Location is amazing, surrounded by all sorts of interesting things to see. Staff is friendly.

Nice clean hostel right next to the main square, which is close to most attractions. There are large lockers in the room, with keys provided. Each bunk is equipped with a power socket and light. The capsule design of the bunks gives everyone some privacy. Free clean towel is provided, which is nice for backpackers. Wifi is fast and stable in the room. Staff are friendly. Urh, the elevator is kind of old, but at least they have an elevator ;)

Spotless! Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. Hands down, the location is unbeatable, nice rooms, relaxed atmosphere, great staff, they truly care about the wellbeing of their guests, special mention to the receptionist! Highly recommendable.

Some of them are kind but some of others are not. Only one person can speak English, so I had a communication problem. Location was not that bad.

Excellent location, great staff, bright and clean rooms.

Very nice stay here, the staff was so helpfull to tell me where to go and enjoy the night with locals (go to the Vintage Pub! ) Bedrooms are really clean and bathrooms are okay as well even if I couldn't close mine (but it will be repaired don't worry). Nice patio as well and the location is really cool to discover the city!

Why we even call this hostel? This is 5 star hotel in the middle of the city with the most kind staff I have ever met. Seriously if you visit there and didn't like anything, I guarantee to pay your stay there.

By far, the best hostel i've ever been to (which I have to say I have a fair share of it). Very new, very clean, I LOVE the bunk beds design. Overall decoration was very creative. Not yet to mention the location is the best! Right smack in the center.

Good hotel, two things valuable: very clean and very good location! And with friendly staff. But One thing, they nearly sell nothing, I mean things like the water, the shampoo, the food. The owner should earn more money if he sells the things assorted :)

Loved this hostel, everything was clean and new. I stayed in a 6 person dorm, but unlike other hostels, this one felt a little more private. Each bed is embedded into the wall giving you a little bit more privacy. It is a little difficult to find at first, I didn't notice the small signs pointing to the hostel.

Beautiful hostel, the position is central and perfect if you want to visit the city or enjoy the cultural events. The structure is comfortable and clean and the design of the rooms gives a very cozy feeling. A big thank you to the staff that was extremely helpful and welcoming! I strongly recommend this accommodation! ;)
