Lobagola B&B

I would like to share a real incident with anyone interested in booking Lobagola B&B in the future.
On the evening of November 8, 2019, at approximately 10:10 pm, my wife and I arrived at the entrance of the old building where Lobagola B&B is located on the first floor. We pressed the doorbell twice, and the owner, Mr. Dubravko Primorac, opened the gate using the electronic system and welcomed us to the first floor. Initially, he criticized me for speaking too loudly, so I apologized to him. However, he rudely emphasized the importance of observing the rules of the place. I then inquired about parking for my car, and he took out a map, informing me that the B&B charged a parking fee of 89 kn per day. He also mentioned that parking in other areas would result in a 40-euro fine if done outside the designated street parking. I vaguely recalled that parking was free but wasn't entirely certain. Impatiently, he challenged me to find any evidence of free parking, stating that if I could present such proof during my booking, he would give me 100 euros. He also impolitely asked us to provide our passports for registration. After we checked in, he showed us the room, which had a bathroom located outside. We found this arrangement a bit unusual but didn't voice our concerns, assuming it was just a minor quirk.

Both food and apartaments are just wonderful here. The host is a great, peaceful and really kind man. He serves delicious breakfasts by himself, including homemade jams and bread. Never hesitate to visit this place during your stay in Zagreb!
