Hostel Chameleon

Summary: the worst, left before checkout date, very rude.
Well, it starts with that they only accept cash, but I had to confirm my booking with creditcard, so that was a weird start. Then; the ac was broken, so we had to sleep with the window open, for it was too hot inside. But on the other side of the street was a bar which was so loud that even after we closed the windows there was much noise, that bar was open till 0300 I think. Then there was the bed, not very comfortable and you could feel the springs, but that couldve been dealt with, as it is for just a few nights, but. For a roommate his food was stolen out of the fridge. When he was checking out but needing a place for his bag we tried to fit it in my locker with my stuff, didnt fit and during this I bummed my arm against the lockers and there felt something in one of the other lockers, the deskguy came to see what it was and tried to blame us for the broken behind of the locker, but that was already broken, for I checked it when checking in as I always check my locker for safety. Then we decided to leave his bag on my bed. When we came back a couple hours later and his bag was taken from my bed onto the table in the room, which was weird. Then he got his backpack to go to his new hostel and I left with him to go to the museum. Then when I came back my bed was full with stuff from someone else, aka he gave my bed away.

Terrible manager service. Manager told us that there’s “a problem with the ac I don’t know, a man said” despite it being middle of the summer and the ac worked fine the night before. Clearly just money grabbing as it’s all rooms they’ve hidden the ac remotes. Location is fine and if you bring your own ir device hacker you can make do during the summer. Terrible service. Laundry facilities don’t seem worthwhile, you give them your laundry and they deal with it for you but if you’re travelling I’m not sure I would trust this place so did it in a self service place. Bathrooms are clean enough but it’s just one shower for all guys. No place to store luggage before/after check in, just told us we should leave it in the lobby.
