The hotel is very close to the Zagreb center (300m). It's in a nice old building offering spacy rooms decorated with modern furniture. Very nice staff especially in the reception.

It’s a beautiful hotel — the oldest in town actually. It looks posh and modern from the outside and inside.

Loved the fantastic armosphere! Best štrukli ever! Very good restaurant!

I read of renovated rooms, unfortunately this was not my case. The location is great, the palace is gorgeous, but it needs to be renovated where it needs, including the common parts. Great breakfast, awful internet connection, great hospitality, very bad fitness center. All in all so and so.

It's hard to find a car to enter the hotel.

The staff was very nice and polite. The hotel is nice and cozy. The location is excellent, right in the center of Zagreb, a short walking distance from all the attractions.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is so friendly and eager to help. They gave us a map to the city and the girl at the desk even helped pick out a few spots that we might like. The rooms need a little updating, but it had everything we could need and even came with complimentary water. The free breakfast was DELIGHTFUL. Eggs three ways, fruit, French toast, cereal yogurt, bacon and of course a cappuccino machine.
The location was perfect as we could walk to the shops and most of the historic sights in 10 minutes. And the park and trolley station is directly out the door.

We only stayed here one night, and I wish it was longer. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and has that old world charm. The staff is friendly and the buffet breakfast in the AM is wonderful. Wide selection. The little cafe next to the hotel is wonderful too. We had to get a coffee after being on the road for so long — — and it was so quick and the girl was lovely. The room was big, we had this big beautiful bed to spread out on! The only thing that was weird was the shower with the glass separator — — it was just not useful! LOL.

Excellent located, this boutique hotel is a smart choice for all those who want to explore Zagreb city center by foot. And, no matter how tired you'll be after the walk, you'll be first in the morning to taste best "štrukli" ever. What are "štrukli" indeed? Hm, how to describe something you can't resist and you want it more and more?

Very nice both the exterior and the interior corridors and Hall furnished with styles of the last century Hotel class.

Great location, old school hotel. Rooms a little small. Parking was no problem, we only stayed one night on our way through to Rovinj.

Loved our stay here. Really nice and friendly staff that went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Hotel was clean and tidy and the breakfast options were plenty. Great time staying in the oldest hotel in Zagreb.

Orson Wells ' favorite hotel in Yugoslavia according to the dedication placed on the wall of the entrance hall! The place may seem faded given the seniority of this establishment. The rooms are OK and fortunately well soundproof as the hotel is located on a busy avenue very close to the city center.
The breakfast is excellent with a very wide choice.

Staff was very helpful and offered good advice for touring Zagreb and for airport logistics. Loved the art nouveau design in the lobby and adjacent bar. Breakfast buffet had many great and delicious choices, especially in a rather small serving space. Cheapest rooms were very bare bones, blandly decorated, small, and dark. We choose to upgrade to the junior suite and were much happier with the larger space, nicer finishes, and more comfort overall, but we had to pay the upgrade price which wasn't insignificant (almost double). Energy conscience electrical system required room key card to operate lights, and hvac system required windows to be closed. A good way to ensure guests did not waste energy when not in the room. Overall great location, great included breakfast, and friendly staff, but must be willing to pay for the fancier rooms or settle for minimal accommodations.

Great hotel with history. Heavy interior and royal atmosphere. Great breakfast. You need to reserve parking because is very limited space and you will need to use public parking 5 minutes walking from hotel. Also do not take single room with standard bed because it is quite small.

There is no kettle in the room. The rest is very good.

Mjesto moga vjenčanja. Savršeno uređeno, sa odličnom akustikom, predivnom poslugom I savšrenom hranom. Svakako preporučam svakome tko želi malo, intimno vjenčanje :)

Very welcoming good old hotel in the Art-Nouveau style. Prices in the restaurant and room service are very reasonable for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is full and tasty. 5 out of 5.

Great hotel a 5 minute walk to the center and across from one of the main parks of the city. Elegant ambience, clean and well-kept rooms. High quality breakfast with wide choice between sweet and continental breakfast. Too bad for the lack of parking.

Coffee is great and so is the cake. Friendly staff as well. The interior is very pleasant to the eye and the arm chairs are comfortable. Recommended!

Old Hotel in the center of the capital. The staff were very helpful It is possible to park in the street of the hotel at a reasonable price. It also has a small gym and wellness. Breakfast with wide choice and high quality. Good value for money.

Very good location near the center, a park is opposite. Easy access to public transport through the nearby Central station. Very friendly staff. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Great breakfast buffet.

I went there a while ago. All right. But they didn't have a guarded parking lot for the bike. Other than that a good hotel. Reserved. Educated and professional.

I would recommend it, if by any chance you may think to go on vacation ito Zagreb, this is the place to stay.

Centrally located but not busy the hotel looks like a nice palace in style overlooking a large square with very green. The staff, all in the hotel uniform, is of a courtesy and exemplary availability. The rooms not even to say they are clean and absolutely quiet. The breakfast presents a variety that satisfies all possible tastes and the quality reflects the general one of the whole hotel. I will definitely return and recommend it.

I arrived yesterday and thus far it has been a wonderful experience. The room is completely updated and very clean. You can hear some street noise but nothing that someone from Long Island isn't used to. The tram is quieter than the Long Island Railroad. You really can't beat the location. 4 tram stops from the bus station. Walking distance to so much of the sites. No need to ride the tram really although it runs right in front of the hotel. The Wi-Fi is one of the best I have ever used in a hotel. There is also a breakfast buffet included with the room.
