We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Ankora (2 families with kids). Milan, the owner, is very nice and helpful, provided all the information we needed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach and restaurants are at 10 minutes walking distance. We enjoyed the professional grill available at the location.
We had a pleasant 1-week stay in Villa Ankora and all went as expected. My emailing with Milan (an owner) was easy, I transfered pre-payment. He is caring person, lives with a family the same building, so as many times we met he always asked if any help required. A few days before our trip he kindly sent detailed map how to reach the place (it is well mapped on G. Maps though). We had 2A appt (1st floor) with two separate bedrooms and living room. It is well equipped if you plan to cook. Our terrace overlooked a panorama of Supetar residence area and up to Split. It is quiet (you can sleep with opened windows) and indeed not remote area from the city center (I d say 15 mins walk). Wifi was good too. We had own wheels, so parking is easy there as well as reaching many supermarkets as well as many places on Brač (btw, nearby Konoba Luš was probably the best in terms of fish plate value). Re beaches: we travelled by car to a few, having a fav one nearby Sumartin. Fully recommended as a good value!
