Great location, great building, friendly stuff, nice breakfast!

The room was spacious and clean. Friendly staff and great breakfast and coffee. You can relax with a glass of wine in the inner garden.

We stayed at Maksimilian four nights, and we were sorry we could not stay longer. It was an exquisite experience, the location is perfect — right in the middle of the old town, in a freshly renovated old building, keeping the character of the old times while offering all the best that new technology has to offer — the internet connection was flawless. The interior decoration is perfectly tasteful, making it a delightful place to spend your time.

Great place Bad and breakfast, warm, family atmosphere.

Very friendly location, in the old city (in the fortress, in fact). It is hosted by an old house and it is a liitle different from what you'd expect, but in the good way. The staff is helpful and open. Still, some people may find ackward to have other guests passing by their windows, since the layout of the rooms is adapted to the architecture, but for us it was not a problem.

This was my first place to stay in Croatia and honestly, I didn't want to leave it! Beautiful building, clean, spacious rooms & wonderful facilities but above all delightful, trusting & super friendly staff — Just loved the chats & laughs with them!

So so lovely. If you’re in the area, or just travelling passed, you really need to stop here.

Beautiful place in a beautiful part of town. So close to the heart of Osijek.

The hosts are the best we have come across. Bathroom was great and we really enjoyed the courtyard for catching up with the rest of the intrepid group we were travelling with. Wonderful location.

But probably the best asset is the staff — friendly and nice, talkative and helpful — we simply loved Iasmina and Gordana! They perfectly compliment the beautiful location, turning an already great visit into a splendid one! We recommed Maksimilian whole-heartedly, feeling certain that once you've been there, you will fall in love with the place and its people.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at Maksimilian with Intrepid tours in May.
The hotel is quaint, cosy and spotless!
The rooms are all so different and unique. Breakfast is delicious. The gardens so gorgeous, a lovely place to sit with coffee or wine.
However the best part are the owners Vladimir and Jasmine. They welcome you like you are family coming home.
What a delight it was to be greeted in the morning by the happy, smiling and funny girls, who were eager to get you coffee and breakfast. They even remembered what you liked!
What a terrific introduction to beautiful Osijek, Croatia!

Amazing staff, very friendly. Room was very nice with a comfy bed. Bathroom is modern, perfectly clean with a nice shower setup. Wifi works great. Beautiful courtyard. Dora made me a delicious omelette and coffee for breakfast. Best area in town for nightlife. If you are in Osijek, I can't see anywhere else to stay!
