We have recently left this wonderful hotel where the management, the service to the public and the kitchen have made the difference! A hotel of excellence. To be recommended to people who love attention to detail, interiors and fine dining. Very cozy. Thank you.

Dinner here is very good, everything was fabulously cooked, the service especially friendly. My expectation was exceeded! The quality of the food 1A! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love delicious food and I love to get gastronomic pleasure from such food. Once upon a time in one film there was a scene where a man something ate with relish getting such pleasure from food which was accompanied by sounds. The wife (or his girlfriend) looked at it and then told him "stop having sex with food. "

Phenomenal food, wine, service, and care. We asked if the restaurant could prepare vegan food and they did not hesitate. What followed was five delicious courses of creative, delightful cuisine. My husband and I agreed that the wine we were served was also some of the best we’d ever tried. Thank you for a remarkable, memorable evening. We certainly felt taken care of.

Knowing about it for several years but always just passing by, I finally decided to stay at this hotel with my family for one hot summer weekend. It is hard to say what I was amazed by more; the location, the very center of the old medieval city of Kastav, near to the well where citizens grabbed their portions of water but also drowned one hated mayor; the architecture of the whole square and the hotel building itself; rooms decorated with such level of style and technology that you could easily mix with some Hawaiian resort; or, the most impressive, the breakfast served by the owner-manager himself! Not the common practice as it was explained, but a gesture to let employees have a free Sunday morning. The prices are a bit high, but the comfort, location and warm welcome can very well justify them.

Great hotel, lovely hostess and the rooms are just amazing. The village Kastav is incredibly beautifull! Really loved staying here.

Beautiful! Spacious rooms equipped with everything you can serve and there's also the bidet! Kind staff and super breakfast!

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel Excellent food and matching wines from Croatia. Pinots are great here and good Chardonnay. Fish courses all very good and interesting served with charm by a young local lady to us.

Great way to experience taste of Istria.

Totally pale!
After an initial pleasant atmosphere, the restaurant filled up half an hour after our arrival with a large company, which occupied all other places. The noise level increased and was still drowned out by additional musical performances, which in turn produced louder conversations. Discussions from one table end to another, articulating and standing between the tables of those (bus? ) Group, a vortex with which I reckon at the carnival or Munich Oktoberfest, but has not lost anything in a restaurant of higher class.
Professionally I have a decibel meter with me and I put this one with the result: constantly 85-90 decibels!
My complaint was met with incredible arrogance and ignorance.
Not recommended!

Excellent restaurant. Slow food concept is very interesting: trust the chef, he will cook the perfect dinner for you according to the season and your expectations.

Very nice hotel in the old city town in top of the Kastav. Litle hard for a parking since thers a ramp in the entrance to the old city.

One of the best hotel I ever was. I stood sevaral times in this hotel. Just small but modern and very high quality level. Also the quality restaurant with local food is very high. I like this hotel.

I am referring to the restaurant, from the hotel we have seen only a few rooms, but also inspired us.
Very friendly and helpful staff including Mr Kukurin himself, almost all speak German.
One of the best restaurants in the Kvarner region, regional and authentic, but with the utmost care, and not so sloppy and interchangeable as in many Croatian restaurants unfortunately.
Very good corresponding wines, and also the good price / performance ratio make the stay a pleasure.
We come back safely.
