A terrace is terrific with breathtaking views. Even if service is BAD!

Staff is very nice. The room was clean. Every night good music. Pool and Spa top.

I love this hotel. Everything is just perfect, starting from food, accomodation, stuff, pool, cleanliness. Simply everything.

Dog friendly Hotel with great location and helpful staff.

Stayed here in July 2016 for a week. Good: — Excellent views across the bay to Rijeka — Surprisingly good entertainment on the terrace most evenings — Lovely indoor and outdoor pools, plus a private "beach", although not sandy — Very near the centre of Opatija, easy access to all the tourist stuff there — Opatija itself is lovely — Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and clean Some (minor) flaws: — The buffet food is rather repetitive, although generally good: pasta, fish, stew and chicken / pork seems to be the usual fare — Perhaps they're understaffed, but the drink service is surprisingly poor given the quality of the other services — it seemed to be incredibly difficult to attract the attention of the waiters, and orders were sometimes slow / incorrect. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff is very friendly, they have a professionalism, very good food. Things to improve or change
— the wine at breakfast is hot
— the sun loungers you have to get up early to reserve it

according to my view of the dinner buffet, which is good for preparation, but I seem to be in the spot, this is for me to lose quality of a 5 star hotel. Overall I would say 4.5 stars, however, I recommend to all.

Excellent rooms, fantastic breakfast and very friendly and attentive staff. Great private beach too. Central Opatija is a short walk away.

Very friendly and courteous Team. Beautiful Lobby with high-quality Bar and competent Bartenders. Good room (carpeted floor) with proper balcony & awning — always sea view. Private access to the sea. Outdoor salt-water swimming pool and showers, very cold. Indoor pool and hot tub very warm. Lovely little SPA and a convenient Fitness Studio. Many of the services included. Valet Parking. 30 MBit/s up/down (=symmetric! ) Wi-Fi. Buffet restaurant with good, high-quality equipment. Deductions for the Restaurant Hortenzia: The operation is also very friendly and accommodating zukommend, the kitchen offers a bad P/L ratio (lack of ingredients and side dishes, cold food, Steak, just a good average). Audience with a higher average age. Appropriate to the level. A pity that the Sky does not exist any more cash.

Great Hotel — stay Fri — sun for coast patent training. The Hotel offers a very pleasant environment. The rooms are beautiful. Beds really good. Breakfast buffet leaves no wishes. Indoor & outdoor swimming pool, for Fan's of Pools absolutely fine. The Private beach includes everything, even a waiter for drinks, etc. Of The public pebble beach also offers small children an enjoyable swimming. In the Hotel are all very concerned. For my next Opatija travel, this Hotel is the first choice.

Directly on the sea, excellent and very clean Spa center, friendly staff. Rooms newly renovated and very neat. And Opatija is always beautiful ;-)

This is a nice hotel. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a good restaurant in the garden. Seawater in the pool. A private beach. Live music in the evenings by the pool. Been there 4 times and have booked again this summer.

Try excellent, location excellent, the rooms clean and very beautiful. The breakfast one of them best that I have seen in the last years.

Hotel kvarner is ok, nice, clean and whit all 4 star service, but the Amalia side in not good at all is like less the one star hotel.
