Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and so clean.

The resort is very good, the facilities are excellent, the staff are friendly and professional. We have enjoyed the pools, restaurants, gardens and the views.

Spacious resort with many restaurants. Very kid friendly but the resort does offer adult only options.

The hotel is beautiful, light & airy like a modern glass ship. The outdoor balconies overlook the ocean, each view a travelers treat. Several pools also overlook the ocean and are perfect for adults and families with space to spare. At 100% occupancy, the resort never felt crowded — it was just right for relaxation. Many dining options within a short walk as well as spa made the Sun Gardens Dubrovnik the place to be. Great service, great amenities.

Along the beautiful Croatian coastline, on the Adriatic Sea, you'll find Sun Gardens Resort. With both a hotel & villas, (which are perfect for families) this location is unique — and it's conference accommodations are top notch. The amenities are incredible.
Sun Gardens offers a variety of restaurants as well as shops for onsite dining and shopping.
A spa, multiple pools, with outdoor bars, and easy beach access — there's no need to leave.
If you want to venture out to the Old City of Dubrovnik, (which is worth exploring) it's only a short car ride away. From the time we were met at the airport until our last good bye, the Sun Gardens staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and hope to return one day.

The Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik is a perfect Resort located in the vicinity of Dubrovnik. It is an immelaculate compound, with beautiful comfortable rooms with breathtaking views. Excellent, highly professional, very polite and very attentative staff. The smell of the evergreen nature, pine trees, colourfoul flowers, beautiful beach with crystal clear Adriatic sea makes the compund exquisite. In addition, they have excellent spa and pools with perfect views and amenities. The limo service they provide is highly recommendable. Great staff, good food in Restaurants. I cannot wait to go back to Sun Gardens Dubrovnik again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautifull view, beach, services, food, large suite.

A short 5 night break with my husband and 7 year old. I would highly recommend this hotel. From the moment we arrived we have been treated to a 5 star service. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The hotel and grounds are spotless, the hotel room is spacious with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. The food is lovely and the private beach is a must for anyone wanting to swim and look at the beautiful views. We even had the chance to meet the hotel Manager who was really friendly, attentive and couldn’t be more helpful, he really wants all the guests to have the best holiday. I have stayed in many hotels but nothing compares to this hotel definitely a 5 star. We can’t wait to return again next year. Thank you to everyone at the Sun Gardens hotel. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had an amazing time at Sun Gardens! The apartment was spotless clean and hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a perfect place to be for us with 8 years old boy who wants to swim all day everyday! And sightseeing was also near by we manage to drive to Montenegro in a couple of hours! We would love to go back again! Miss the hotel already! Oh and the amenities are also fantastic! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Staff are all very efficient, great idea to have an adult only pool. Fab location. Very relaxing holiday.

They are not service minded — they try to get money from you without any services!
I have cancelled my trip and send documentation to them for my cancelling and they still want full fee!

Sun Gardens has to be one of the cleanest hotels l’ve ever stayed in. The staff are lovely — friendly and helpful.
It’s not a cheap hotel (Croatian prices are high compared to the pound), but worth it never the less!

Chilled resort, families but nice respectful ones, a good quality holiday and away from the main bustle but kit so far that all isn't easily in reach. Three pools to choose from to pick your vibe. The kids had a blast. We had an apartment and the space suited us just fine. Some very friendly staff on hand too. The great sea views and interior design helped me relax and the sports centre is good too. Very glad we came here.

Big resort with almost no events. On. The main street there are 3 restaurants open where you can get some food and all other places are closed — no live music, no pubs, no entertainment at all. Who likes quiet place and going to sleep at 2200 this is a good place.

I think we should include an all-inclusive system.

Lovely place absolutely stunning scenes and very very clean. The only reason I give it 3 starts is because we were able to just walk in off the street and no one stopped us to check we were even allowed to be there. Maybe sone may say, "well that's great they are very friendly and casual", but think of all the random people that could walk in off the street and come right into the resort where you're sunbathing or the kids are playing. Otherwise wonderful place and didn't cost us anything.

The sea is near, the room is very comfortable.

Great resort, impressive rooms with very comfortable beds, many tasty breakfast choices, very good spa facilities and four different pools. A little further from the airport than other resorts, but it's worth the drive. Staff are attentive and professional.

You get treated like royalty here and nothing is too much trouble.
The facilities are first class and in terms of amenities and service I cannot fault the place.
The views are spectacular and the food is great.
What makes us question whether we will go back is the huge mark up on things in the grocery store and restaurants.
You are a fifteen minute shuttle or cab
ride to dubrovnik old town and there is nothing around the hotel so you only Option is to eat and shop in the resort.
It left a bad taste in my mouth that the hotel seems to play on this by charging exorbitant prices.
For example a cocktail is 10 gbp and 3 of us had a steak and chips a bottle of water and 2 vodkas and 2 glasses of wine. Between the whole party and it was 170gbp.
Most expensive place I've ever been and I've been to some. Milan Dubai and live in London.

They could create so much good will if they nudged prices down a bit.

Beautiful location within half an hour drive/taxi from Dubrovnik. Sun Gardens have a shuttle taxi and a boat taxi to and from Dubrovnik. The rooms are well appointed and luxurious. Fabulous swimming pools and a spa offering relaxing treatments. Great resort restaurants. Excellent, welcoming friendly service from all staff. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Will visit again.

A beautiful and breath taking place to stay. Mostly honeymooners and is a quite family resort. It doesn't have a night life, so not recommended if you want to party. Bar closes at midnight, and no other bars around. So don't expect a long drinking night. Most people go to old Town and taxi back. The town itself is more expensive than the rest of Croatia. Overall definitely plan to come back when I have a family.

Beautiful well thought out space with every vista catering to the incredible view. The room was really spacious with huge sliding doors. 3 pools, 2 for children and 1 for adults giving everyone ample space. There is a promenade of shops on the complex. They sell beach clothing from high end brands. There is also a hair dresser and upmarket grocery store. Numerous restaurants to sample but only Le Pasta open for lunch in May which did great pizza but terrible salad. However I think this is a regional thing as we haven't had a good salad with decent dressing since we have been here — we were in Montenegro before. We ate at the restaurant near the beach and had foal and chicken — both of which were delicious. They have a shuttle service that runs to a schedule in and out of Dubrovnik so ask for the time table at reception Overall a great experience!

Excellent hospitality, wonderful staff and the new brand gives the entire crew a new energy. One of the gem resort under the LHW. Only the club launch seems bit poor and ambiance should be as launch.

Outstanding rooms that are exceptionally clean, banquet and event team was of the best I've come across. With five-star service and its culture set to serve this is the best experience in Europe! Definitely returning!

Loved my stay here! All of the staff was very friendly and there was lots do to on the resort. We took advantage of the 3 Island cruise and it was beautiful! It was my birthday that day and when we got back there was a cake prepared for me with a letter from the hotel. They definitely made me feel appreciated! It was a great location with a beautiful view. 100% recommend!

Hotel and facilities are fantastic and definitely a 5 star establishment. Breakfast was more than satisfactory and the shuttle bus service compensated for the hotel being a relative distance from the Old Town. However the staff disappointed… Receipcionists were very rude and unhelpful, bar staff spoke little to no English and overall they were not attentive to the guests as you would expect at such a high class standard. Particularly disappointed in the fact they would not let my daughter go into the indoor pool at 8pm, I understand the rules state no under 16’s in the pool after 5pm but after a long day of walking around all she wanted to do was have a nice relax in the pool, the pool was empty and no one was in the spa area whatsoever, reception refused to help and when asking to speak to the manager they refused to let me speak to them. Very displeased as to why no exception was made. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor, cigarette butts in the room balcony, dirty sheets and the Lemonia pool was filthy. We did eat at the La Pasta restaurant which was only one of two of the restaurants open, but was very nice and really good service. Overall I am very pleased with the hotel itself offering spectacular views and very modern rooms just really wish the staff could’ve made it that bit more special.

Large hotel structure about 12 km from Dubrovnik; It has everything you can expect from a five star hotel in the category and also lacks all that are lacking in these facilities: a real life, the convenient connection with the city, the uniqueness of the place.

From the hotel you really have the chance to admire a lovely scenery. The hotel is clean and well maintained; At the culinary level I was expecting something more.

Beautiful place, and also one of best places I ever visited all over the world. BUT some staff members (not all) are RACIST. Particularly, the staff at the morning buffet & at the front desk had a disappointing attitude. I was really offended by how the staff made fun of my sister's accent by mimicking her accent, although she speaks fluent English. Also, when we asked for the luggage trolley at the front desk, the staff at the front desk repeatedly ignored our request and was laughing and speaking in their local language when it was obvious we were standing in front of them. So rude and disrespectful. Sun gardens is lovely in so many aspects, but will never visit to this place again.

Lovely area and hotel! You have lots of restaurants, pools, gym (tennis, squash, running, weights, sand volleyball), and direct access to the Adriatic sea! A bit far from civilization, but we rented a car just to have the opportunity to "escape paradise" if needed. Absolutely recommended!

Very nice hotel, beautiful location, but you will need a car. When we visited in Sept it was quiet (how I like it), 3 well managed pools (1 adults only), private beach (stones), lots of restaurants (not cheap, but it is 5*). Residence rooms are very spacious, beautifully maintained and quiet. Would definitely return.

Great hotel. Away from crowded city area but close enough. Several ways to get to old city from boats to Uber. About 20 min drive. The hotel is spotless. The rooms look new. Several restaurants which are decent and pricey. But not ridiculous. There are also small great places nearby. I would mix it up. Eat at hotel and local places. Renting a car is toss up. You can get around cheaper but parking is pain in ass and expensive in old city. But manageable. Park outside city in public garage. Be prepared to walk ten minutes of pretty steep steps. If you are not in shape take Uber or Cab. The whole area is safe and beautiful.

First class operation. Clean modern and huge. The food and service is very good. Pools and spa very impressive. Not a place for budget conscious travelers. It's worth the money.

Superb attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean. Or Emperor Suite was perfect in every detail. Staff friendly. Pools were clean and warm. Brit tattoo count: tolerably low.

I was there for a huge and great big place corporate convention. The rooms were pretty much mini apartments, spaces and beautiful views.

An incredibly beautiful place, very comfortable and welcoming hotel main building which is where I stayed. The views and surroundings are stunning and I can imagine it gets only better during high season! Beautiful room, big balcony and an amazing view. Also very friendly and helpful staff, very attentive. And the breakfast buffet was heavenly!

Fantastic. Didn't really know what to expect but it's perfection. All staff are friendly and all speak exceptional English. You have a choice of 10 restaurants and lovely grounds. Any excursions or hires or transfers can be arranged in the hotel. Plus the hotel grounds have shops, sports centre, three pools, spa … Wonderful!
