Rooms are spacious and very nice. Love the privacy they provide despite having so many people in the room.
Bathrooms are like a slip and slide, it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen really.

I’ve stayed at En Route Hostel many times, and every stay has been consistently great.

I was very happy with this hostel. They had a free breakfast in the morning. I did not stay in the dorms. I was in a private room. I also left a charger in the room and the owner.

Best hostel I have stayed at.
The rooms are so fresh and clean, and so are the bathrooms.
Although a light breakfast it has everything that you need. Really cute.

I had an amazing stay at Hostel Villa Skansi! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything.

The place is very big and beautiful, with lots of space to share with people. The pizza is delicious and they even have happy hour. It’s close to the center and has a great view.

Fantastic stay at AI Hostel. Spacious rooms, super comfy beds and great quality towels – a real bonus. The location is perfect and the facilities have everything you need.

I stayed at Elli Hostel in Split once and had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which made it easy to feel comfortable even during a short stay.

A very clean place, including the bathrooms. It’s quiet, and the host is friendly easy person to talk with. There is a kitchen with a fridge and a microwave, so you can cook simple things like eggs.

Cleanest and most well equipped hostel from the 15 odd ones I’ve been to. Probably my only unprompted review ever as well. Jasna is really sweet and will give you loads of recs.

Excellent service. The directions to this hostel are the first thing that made me laugh, it was so real.

It was very easy to communicate with the hostel managers — they were always approachable, responsive, and genuinely happy to assist with anything we needed.
I really appreciated.

Amazing location right in the centre of the old town and the host is super lovely and helpful, we had some very nice chats. Beds were super comfortable!

Killer hostel with very close to bars and beaches, loved the free pub crawl ran by Isa. It was a great way to meet people and get to know the city.

Had a great stay here last week. The rooms were clean and tidy, and there were plenty of comfortable spaces to sit, relax, and chat with other travellers.

This is it. Worked great for our group. Excellent location for the Old Town or to catch a bus. Staff was incredible. Manager Sime was super helpful.

Special thanks to so supportive staff, they were really helpful, checked in the room us as soon as they can. Also explained everything about transport, better way to discover Split and islands.

A small hostel in a residential district of Split, very close to the bus station that will take you to the centre (just a few stops) and close to cheaper restaurants with a daily meal option.

Best location in Split, hands down — right off the Riva promenade and steps from Diocletian’s Palace. The dorms are clean, the bathrooms modern, and the staff incredibly helpful.

Best hostel during my trip. Total less than 5 steps/staircase from Main Street to the room.

I had an amazing stay at Split Backpackers. The hostel was very clean, in a good location and the hostel had a really sociable atmosphere.

It's a very cozy and clean house, with domestic atmosphere, with beautiful garden with swiming pool.
There you can enjoy with other guests, listen to some easy music, have fun or have a quiet time.

I definitely recommending this hostel. Location is perfect, I was in city center. Rooms and toilets clean. Reception was nice and friendly and helpful. I will come back.

I stayed at Colours of Adriatic in Split for a weekend last year, and it was honestly one of the best short stays I’ve had.

You need to find some way to get in and out of Split but otherwise it’s a pretty good property and quite comfortable for a hostel.

I stayed in this hostel from one week in a private room, and it was quite pleasant. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles, but it gets the job done.

Very good location, good ac, clean bathrooms, fair price and good staff. Felipe and Medina are awesome, always willing to solve any doubts and very friendly even for good conversations and laughs.

Honestly, after visiting 77 countries was one of the best hostel’s I have been. Good location, good energy but the highlight of the business definitely Medina and Felipe, what legends!

From the moment I arrived at Backpackers Fairytale Hostel, I knew I’d found something truly special.

First experience alone in a hostel and I met Vedran who’s working there — very nice and thoughtful person! The hostel was very cozy and Vedran made sure I felt like home as soon as I arrived.

Unvealiable experience. The people there are great and very helpfull. Perfect location. Shared rooms, very tidy place.

I lived in the hostel for about 2 weeks in March. It was my most favorite hostel experience I have ever had.

Can't thank the staff at the Hostel enough. All the staff we met we're incredibly kind, funny and alot of fun to be around.
