Very good only that a lot of noise both outside and inside the hotel, they come doing a lot of scandal late at night. Very good Food.

Stayed at a 3rd floor, elevator didn't work. Room had no window that opened. I expected that with no ac, one would be able to open a window. Food was good and treatment was good. Great location, walking distance to everything. Shower curtain broken down so water spilled out of shower area. Good and bad points but I would use again.

On the Internet they show something totally different. However, it is functional to sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is good hotel but it is not to give it 5 stars.

Rated this hotel 5 star not because it is a five star, but because the staff were real good people. So it is 3, 5 star I think but for the price I paid $50 including breakfast that was more than correct. I wanted to visit the national theater and as this hotel was a walking distance that was the reason I stayed there for 2 nights. The front desk offer an airport transfer with a min bus, the driver spoke very good English and was a nice Costa Rican. The airport is about 20 min. Many nice bars and restaurants very close. Good memories, thank you.

One star for location and one for price. Beware, the actual place had little resemblance to the website. The TV didn't work and had no remote. The shower curtain was thin and flimsy like Saran wrap and full of holes. No deadbolt for the door. Bed sheet wasn't fitted or the right size and kept coming off the mattress during the night. The blankets looked more like movers blankets, not the nice duvet from the photos. The surrounding area was full of trash and drug addicts that heckled you. The man at the front desk had a gun on his hip. It was walking distance to our bus station, that was the only reason to go back.

The hotel was very nice. Noisy dirty and in a poorly frequented neighborhood.

Excellent locatio in the heart of San Jose and very close to all bus stations. The rate is very good 50$ including breakfast. The room has what you need for a short stay at the center of san Jose. Hotel is very clean for 3 stars hotels and I think with what I have payed, I will not ask for more. You get what you pay.

I loved the Hotel, excellent service, the rooms very nice and comfortable and especially the food delicious, and the Chef Don Carlos is a very kind person and nice! Recomendadisimo.

For the price of $40 a night with breakfast included for a dorm, this place is great. Awesome location in downtown. Walk to parks & shopping. I had a 2 person dorm. This is downtown & can get noisy if you're a light sleeper. Bring earplugs or white noise playing on your phone. Luckily I did not have a roommate since they were not full. I was able to park my rental car on their drive. Just leave the key at the front desk if they need to move it. Only about 4 spots available but there are parking garages nearby you can pay to park. Book any tours in advance if you want transportation included. Renting a car is better so can explore the beaches & volcanoes. I will be back when I visit again!

The attention is good and the cost affordable. The problem is that the rooms are somewhat dedcuidadas, with a touch up to the finishes, the plumbing and the possibility of more ventilation in the bathrooms would reach the 5 stars without problem.

Location OK, near the bus terminals. But also close to the poorly frequented neighborhood where many drugged people squat. The rooms are OK but this is clearly not a 3 star hotel! This is a little noisy. The staff is very nice but I'm not there for that.

Hotel is within walking distance to main attractions in downtown San Jose. I walked (during the day) to casinos and central avenue and always felt safe. Lots of bars and places to grab a bite close to the hotel, but nothing too fancy. I didn't like the fact that the room didn't have a widow, also the bed was kinda hard, but it was good enough for me. Other than that, staff were more that friendly and always looked out to help me or answer any questions I had.

The hotel staff was amazing. They were very attentive and brought towels and food to our room within minuets. The downside to this hotel is the location. Although it is close to mainstream hotels such as the holiday inn, and the museums it seemed a bit unsafe and was a reason why I decided to move my family to a different location. It seems perfect for a quick over the night stay and for young travelers and-or experienced travelers.

Nothing good to say but the people there are great.

Clean to Costa Rican standards & basic hotel room with ceiling fan and hot breakfast in the morning.

He hotel is innovative, all quite new, but the attention was so terrible that even having idea of meet me a week, marche to the day following. Amateur.

I am loved here and you to can be loved, I give it an excellent rating because it is a very good value, the location is great, and the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food is very well prepared It is not a highly fancy hotel by any means, but rooms were clean and The atmosphere is a semi high class with a bit of hometown favor. I stayed here 24 days so far, so this Is a very well informed review, I did not intend to stay here this long, but after I traveled to the Pacific coast and the Caribbean coast and couldn't find what I found at the Cocoon Hotel I returned for the remainder of my vacation

I don't have enough words to explain how great the staff at this hotel is. I came here with developing serious health concern which we informed staff about. They arranged trip to the hospital for me for free, helped with late breakfast and made sure they fulfilled any other requests I had 100%. Every time I met any employee here he / she would ask if I feel better. Amazing attitude and hospitality! The hotel itself is very nice too. For the price and location I would call it exceptional. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Staff is completely excellent, any kind of complaint, kindness to 100%, total availability, the hotel is very clean, both its common areas and rooms, Wi-Fi sometimes presents a problem to sync but I think q is normal within what fits, and something that if they must improve urgently it is the hot water so that it is always constant, and breakfasts that can become repetitive when the stay exceeds 5 days despite Qur'an one may ask for some additional breakfast.
