It was great but there are cheaper places around, particularly if you walk a couple mins out of the city centre. The room had AC which was a nice luxury and the access to the Ylang Ylang pool was a nice touch. The best part is definitely the decor and atmosphere of the dining area.

Good service, comfortable room, nice view on the terrace of the restaurant.

Although I did not stay here, but the food I fell in love with, the restaurant has tables outside in its own courtyard where you can see monkeys.
They have excellent milkshakes and the view of the place is very beautiful.
It is also a romantic site that has some very relaxing fountains and lights.
The parking lot is very accessible.

We went here for dinner and fell in love. The service was fantastic and attentive and the food and cocktails were excellent. I ordered the catch of the day costa sol and it was my favorite meal in Montezuma by far.

Very tico. Small budget. Only basic for sleeping and going out as early as possible. Well located. No Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Great place right by the beach. Small rooms but with A/C for decent pricing. Nice patio to hang out on, and the "off site pool" was a great little pool at their sister resort (about a 10 minute walk down the beach to get there). Friendly, helpful staff. Totally recommend staying here!

We really have to separate this place in two distinct categories: The Hotel and the restaurant. As a hotel I have to confess that I was very disappointed by the size of the room and its insular location tucked in a mustard yellow wall that mostly resembled a puppet stage. We did not feel comfortable despite the hefty price we paid for it. The restaurant, however, serves good food, even tough the menu seems to be outdated and it is more focused in heavy sauces. Breakfast and small lunch bites were good but dinner was expensive and my plate came cold in a night where very few people eating there. Once there try the shakes and coffees and if you are a high roller order one of the homemade chocolate bars and double check your receipt because they charge you in grams.

Great option in Montezuma! Very Tasty! The spices are perfect, for all dishes! open at any time during the day, which is perfect for lunch since other restaurants are closed. Good environment, quiet, you can almost see the sea and you can hear the waves. Food looks heavy but it's not, portions are big but not too big and the cream is perfect to balance the salsa which is soooo tasty! all veggies options are great, filled with great vegetables, not only beans. We even came back multiple times! service is very nice!

Dirty old hotel and restaurant in Costa Rica, same exact food and level of cleanliness as it's sister resort YLANG YLANG.

Great food great service. Nice back patio area. Seriously the best dinner we had all week in CR. Second best was banana beach in Santa Teresa. Had the spring rolls, Patacones Sano banana and pineapple rum chicken.

Within the spectrum of hotels in Montezuma, healthy banana is maintained through the years as one of the best options for a stay quiet and close to places of interest.

Love this place! I spent 3 months in Montezuma and ate there regularly. Great food and usually have a movie in the evening as well.
