Poor receptionist's attention a deal that leaves a lot to be desired say they have parking and it's fake.

People are very pleasant, always ready to help and always smiling! I recommend hardly this place! Gracias!

This cute little hostel is run by Freddie and his family. Freddie is so friendly and helpful and really made me feel at home. I even went running with him one morning! Everyone there is so sweet and the rooms are nice and the food is really good for the price you pay, its incredible! I can't think of anywhere else I would stay in Monteverde :)

The first gentleman we spoke to didn't speak much English, but the second person jumped in to help very quickly and got us situated. Both were very friendly and helped us with directions and setting up some excursions. The breakfasts were fantastic, especially the banana pancakes they served our first morning.

It's excellent! Too central, very nice, cozy, clean, is a family of Ticos super helpful, breakfast barely… Super Happy!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning was delicious, and location is perfect — a 2 minute walk from town.

For the price, combo of hostel and motel. Simple but super clean rooms. Loved it.

Had a bunk bed as a couple, not so comfortable. The room was quite noisy as windows don’t close well and we were in the basement, and very cold, sheets smelled a little. Breakfast was good, value for money is OK.

Very good location. Close to everything. Fantastic service. Will help arrange anything. Great breakfast included. One bad thing, a bit noisy at night… almost as if the walls are too thin. Very clean.

Nice place close to downtown Santa Elena, excellent attention of downtown, has a very nice shared kitchen and super clean.

Stayed two nights at this quaint hostel. It's at the bottom of a mountain road next to a stream — very cozy and quiet. The staff is extremely helpful in both English and Spanish with planning trips and activities around the Monte Verde area. Wi-fi is adequate and there is a good portioned daily breakfast (omlet, fruit, bacon and toast. ) As a fun little extra they have their own coffee plantation nearby so there is all day got coffee for free (plus you can reserve a tour of the farm in Spanish only). We had a stuck door when we arrived and within 5 minutes it was repaired and they put our shoes on the roof to dry so the service was really excellent. Rooms we cozy and cabin like with wooden walls. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Freddie and Marlenny are fantastic and welcoming hosts! We had a lovely stay in a double room with an ensuite bathroom which was clean and comfortable for a three night stay. Freddie and Marlenny were very helpful for booking excursions with local companies including zip lining and night tours. Breakfast is good — I would recommend the pancake option! Lovely people, very comfortable and a safe hostel.

Excellent place for lodging in Monteverde, very comfortable and central, the service is special and the prices very accessible.

Super! In September we were out there and it was a pass. The owners are super friendly and attentive to inform you and help you with your activities planning in the area. Many blessings to your family and business.

The cabins are OK, the value for money is very good and they help organize the tours in the area and includes breakfast and good Internet connection.
It is important to say that the cabins do not have parking suitable for a car, we had to park in the street. There was no incident, but it was something that did not satisfy us.
The service was very friendly.

Just what you need for your trip to Monteverde. A comfortable place, clean, bathroom, breakfast, kitchen at your disposal, good location, very friendly, you inform and help accordingly, even there you can hire tours and spend for you. They speak English and Spanish. It is a very cozy and economic place. I highly recommend it. (Tip: if they make the super to cook something, go to the megasuper because in supercompro even though it is very close, the prices are up to two or three times more expensive and avoid paying in dollars what East in colones)

A little hidden, small and somewhat Spartan, but very clean and economical.
You don't need more because nearby there are several restaurants and shops, one comes in addition to Monteverde not to sit to watch TV but to enjoy the forest and their adventures.

Good hostel. The owner is totally nice, speaks but only Spanish. The remaining staff speaks, but good English.

Super Convenient location. Staff was very friendly and cooked good food for us. Room was great. I would stay there again.

Convenient location and you might catch a sloth on the electric lines. Our private room was tiny though and not a part of the rest of the building so it didn't feel as secure. Rooms upstairs were much nicer.
