Lousy customer service. We arrived at night and almost did not want to attend. They lost 2 customers for denying service at 9pm.

Excellent ☀️ the attention, enjoy the pool very much, the terrace is wonderful. And come twice and it's my favorite place.

I have already booked 2 times this 2020 on Jaco beach and definitely the best experience, comfortable, quiet and excellent service, super recommended will not regret it.

Really dug this hostel! Close to the beach, clean, friendly and helpful staff, and awesome surf teachers! Plus the rooftop has a bunch of hammocks to lounge in super relaxing! I’ll definitely be back! Also their breakfast burritos are what’s up!

Great hostel with very friendly environment. The rooms are huge and some of them have AC, the hostel is very clean and has a perfect location if you are going to jaco to surf. Would stay there again no doubt.

As far as hostels go, this one is one of the best. It doesn't have a huge family type cultural feel, but does have a surf school and community of like minded people. Seems that it could be a great party when not the off season. The place is clean and ranked as the best surf hostel in the world for 9 times. Prices are good. Many rooms have AC.

This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was amazing! This place is so nice and clean and the staff is awesome, friendly, and very helpful. I even met the owner himself and he was very nice to my friends and I on our stay. They even helped me check in overnight when I arrived late. They have so much to do and even do free events weekly. I enjoyed my stay here and will most definitely be coming back in the future. It has opened my mind up to hostels and the price can't be beat. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jaco beach because this place was that awesome. I even had the dorm room without AC and it wasn't that bad. They had at least 4 fans in the room and personal fans on every bed. It was very comfortable and I will definitely be back next time i'm in Jaco. Thank you for making my first time in Costa Rica very memorable!

This is the best hostel in Costa Rica, close to the beach, clean safe and quiet. You can easily find your privacy as the place is huge. Fantastic yoga instructor and great staff! Ended up staying there way more than planned. The yoga room with the bean bags is kinda waste of space, especially because it’s hotter than hell inside. Board selection is weak, they charge 10$ not included tax if you want AC in the 4 bed dorm, so add that into the room price as it’s unbearable without.

Nice place if you want to party but if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to relax this is not the place for you. Doesn’t seem to fit the CR vibe I’ve felt elsewhere. Maybe I’m just getting too old but I found the guests here to be reminiscent of MTV’s “the real world. ” Doesn’t even make me wish I was young again, just kinda depressing.

Great place! ; Been there now 3 times in the past 3 years, and what I like is that the quality of service, rooms and cleaness, doesn't fade throughout the years. They actually have more activities and ideas since the first time I went there — and a new building — Great Job!

Best hostel I’ve ever been to. Free tours. Super fun and chill atmosphere. Food is good and affordable. Surfing lessons were great. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

This is the best Hostel you can pick, the building is brand new, the rooms are modern and nice, the pool area and bar is great always with activities organized by the staff. The manager Caro is the best! Highly recommended!

A beautiful place and wonderful.

This place is Amazing! By far the best one I’ve been to. From the location to the staff to the food and drinks. It’s awesome. Me and my best friend spent a weekend there and had a great time. The staff was super friendly.! I️ even went out with them one night and partied. The next day ì was to hungover and basically layed on the rooftop hammocks all day which was awesome and quiet. It is super clean And you feel right at home. Def recommended!

Brian is a fantastic guy. I had the best experience at R2B. He went above and beyond what could be expected at a hostel. The room was very nice and clean with a great balcony. Everything was tip top shape. Carolina was also extremely helpful and kind. They made my stay in Jaco so enjoyable. I can't wait to come back!

Came here for surf lessons, but left wishing I had stayed there. Although I can only speak for the lesson, the place looks awesome. They have a full schedule of events throughout the week, the staff was great, and the location was perfect. We had Nate as a surf instructor, and he was great. Three people who had never surfed before were all getting up by themselves by the end of the 1.5 hour lesson. Had a blast!

Fantastic! Great place to stay! The food is good and the service is over the top. Carly is the best server that I have ever met in Costa Rica as well as State side. Nate is a really good surfer and the best surfing instructor in Costa Rica. Chris is a total professional as I can tell from my experience in the hospitality business. Everyone greeted me with a real smile every day. I was really pleased with the flexibility of the staff with my reservation dates as my traveling is usually spur of the moment. Great spot! Thanks Guys!

Great social atmosphere. A fast water slide, bean bag chill out room and plenty of space to park!

A hostel of first level, pool, at the edge of the beach, tours, surfing has it all comfort and the friendliness of the staff and the ticos a pleasure to have come.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in March in a 4 person dorm style room. The facilities were in excellent condition; rooms were nice, bathrooms well-light and clean. About 5 minutes away from Jaco beach which was beautiful. The staff was mostly friendly and there is a roof top which is a little quieter than the bar. From R2B we booked a day at Tortuga Island which was fantastic. Downside is that AC isn't included and pretty expensive.

Excellent location, facilities very beautiful. Service is quite good, with a welcoming atmosphere. Clean rooms always and the place in general also. It has a swimming pool, a bar called Chiliguaro with very good food. There is a kitchen with all necessary utensils. The place is 50mts of the beach. And to go to the center are like 5-7 minutes walk.

The hostel has been built for a while now but they've maintained it so that it still looks brand new. The rooms and bathrooms are always very clean. They're cleaned daily. There's Wi-Fi throughout the building including the terrace, rooms, and bar/pool area. The terrace has hammocks for anyone seeking quiet moments. But the pool and bar are always happening if you want to socialize. The bar also has really awesome food! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner and brick oven pizza! With the pool, drinks, and food it's hard to want to leave the place. They also had live music one night! The staff is very knowledgeable on places to go to for partying after the bar closes and the places a good walk from the main party spots but either walking or taxi will get you there quick. Taxis are less than $2 from the bars to the hostel! And of course, the beach is right there in front of the hostel so that's just a super quick walk. The sunsets in Jaco are gorgeous from the beach but from the terrace of the hostel it's also pretty amazing! This hostel is unlike any I've been to before. I was there with a large group of 8 girls, all very different, and they all loved the hostel. So it's very accommodating to all needs. They're also very quick to respond to emails and they accept PayPal for everything which makes it super convenient. I can't say enough about the staff. They're all very friendly and helpful. I lost my phone while leaving to Santa Teresa at a taxi and they helped me locate it!

Just a few expensive, but it's great.
