Great veiw but lousy rooms. While you can look at the ocean and the hotel is on the beach it is not safe to swim there. The nearest beach that you can swim at is about an hour away. If you do not plan to spend most of your time at the hotel then it is fine.

Nice ocean views. Nice restaurant. Rooms are loud near the road due to high traffic and "Jake brakes" on semis.

A very well-identified Hotel with the protection of Playa Hermosa and thanks to their work they have been awarded the ecological Blue Flag for 10 consecutive years.

Staff may improve their customer service treatment with customers. We had to wait long time until they find out our reservation and got kicked out the pool at 8:30pm. Don't eat at this hotel restaurant prices are too high and food is not that good for this price. Go to Jaco downtown instead and get a better service.

Charged me 250$ for something I did not break! Not to mention the pictured look a lot nicer than it actually is. The food is subpar at best.

Comfortable rooms, delicious food, a very kind service, great pool. The unique "problem" but is not a problem is that you can't in to sea because is very dangerous, only for surfers, however you can arrive to Jacó dowtown and go there.

This is not a 3 star hotel, more like 2, comparing price with a hotel we stayed for a couple of nights which had the same price The terraza is a s hole. The BAD Too close to the interstate 34 so it's really noise with the semi trucks breaking. Bed mattress are really bad. My wife hunks she got bitten by fleas, not sure on that one. Bed sheets are really old and you can see thru. Rooms are really outdated. We ordered food to our room, $25 USD for rice, beans and a small steak the 2nd plate was a palmito salad, neitherther was good. Air conditioning outlet pointed directly to the beds, I couldn't move it much. This beach is just for surfers, you can't swim there. It's located in the middle of nowhere, 5 minutes of Jaco. Too expensive for conditions of the room and amenities. the good. The included breakfast was good, a la carte.

We like to travel to Costa Rica and look forward to a nice time in this incredibly diverse, very nice country. But every now and then there are hotel facilities that have been very well-developed and only serve the profit. So it is also here in this case, rooms are only recommended for quick fall asleep. The rusty refrigerators and the faucet falling out of the wall are astroes.

Very quiet place, that if you can not get into the sea because it is very strong the swell. Red Macaws also arrive.

Everything is very nice it's my second time. Very nice attention especially that of a restaurant boy named Roy.

The facilities are clean and pleasant. The food in the restaurant is good and diverse. The treatment of its employees is very cordial. It has two swimming pools: the Central has a bar in the center, although I feel that its waters are very deep, which makes it unattractive for those who do not know how to swim. The snack area is a mess, as you get many groups on weekends, and you don't have many options to eat. I think this part can be improved.

The service is excellent, very attentive. The food is good, there is a big parking lot, two swimming pools, one with a bar inside and there is Jacuzzi, if you are asked to the employees that activate the hot water of Jacuzzi, they do it quickly, because not always this activities. The Wi-Fi signal does not always come in with strong intensity in the rooms. The beach sometimes has strong swell.

Best spot for Surfing in Hermosa. It is located on the beach but near the Northern End. Less crowds, awesome waves. Very laid back, charming, staff was wonderfull. The hotel is probably a bit old, but well maintained and important, it is very clean. Food is excellent too.

Fantastic, as beachfront as it gets. This is from now on, our Surfer Paradise. Literally on the beach, meaning On the sand. Awesome food, pool, ac in the room, great TV and the staff is great, more than employees, friends. Will recommend a lot. Thanks Terraza del Pacifico.

Stayed for 3 nights the hotel has clean comfortable rooms with an excellent restaurant and bar. Ocean views from both. As this property is located on the ocean with surf rolling across the beach to the restaurant. If you don't want the beach try lounging around the pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I am sharing this review to warn you not to be fooled. My tour group stayed at this hotel thinking it was going to be a highlight of our trip, however that was certainly not the case. I am not sure how this hotel has such positive reviews. I stayed here with a group of 37 during a tour through CR and we were shocked to find poop in and on our beds — lizard feces or not, I don't care. Feces should never be IN the sheets. Additionally there were stains all over the sheets. Crabs, lizards, roaches and other giant insects in the bathrooms. If this was in the U. S. It would NOT be acceptable. The waterfront view is easily overlooked when you have to sleep on your own belongings and worry about roaches getting into your suitcase if it is open. Do not stay here. Staff wouldn't help to resolve these issues. They "re-made" beds by fluffing the sheets IN FRONT of us. Appalling and disgusting.

Very nice hotel surrounded by a very cozy beach.

Beautiful place to stay. Pool with wet bar and separate kids pool. Right on the beach which is amazing during sunset. Not far from town. One of my favorite places I stayed and would love to go back!

Very good place with a great restaurant and a pool. Our first room was on ground floor and had a bad hodor. We asked for an other room and they gave us a much better room on the second floor.

A nice hotel to spend a couple of days, the beach is not for swimmers. For surfos a good place.

It is quiet, lovely pool, the sea is beautiful, but I do not recommend bathing in the, there is a lot of stone on the beach, rich breakfast, rooms clean and large.

Perfect servise. The food is delicious there. There is a very nice beach, great place for surfing. The waves are big and strong. Nice and long black sand beaches.

Good treatment from the staff. internet is very, very poor, I can say there is no Wi-Fi. The beach is not that good, is good for those who are looking for surfing, it is black sand beach. The restaurant is good, you find pancake, omelets and excellent fruits, for breakfast. For lunch and dinner they have awesome manu.

Description: It is a place of relaxation, the facilities are small, it has two swimming pools, a restaurant and a snacks kisko. Mmm if you're young and looking for entertainment the pool closes at 8 pm and the bar 10 pm and remember is a non smoking hotel.
To the be small all this about, parking, room, restaurant and the beach. The prices are really economic for be all included and how much to the food very nice.
Again them, if they are looking for entertainment activities for children, disco, tours, or any other activity, will be in the center of Jaco hotel xq does not offer different pool activities.
