The owner and staff are FANTASTIC! The food is great, the beer is cold, the cabinas are very large and comfortable. It is just a short walk along a cool boardwalk to a beautiful beach where there is awesome surfing.

Amazing place, very practical and great service. The most peaceful and beautiful place I have seen so far. The staff was amazing I highly recommend this place.

I have been coming here for about 25 years now. I have watched it maintain a good crew of people and share the stoke that is Pura vida.

A nice place… very quiet and enjoyable… good prices and services… attention of July and his team is excellent… very good location… total silence only sound of animals… nearby you can eat in Blu or Il Rustico… very well located to go to the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo or Herm You dare and calm beaches with excellent surfing… access to the spectacular beach.

Great place to stay, it’s a short walk away from the beach. Staff was all amazing and the food is good as well. We will definitely be back here!

Beautiful Cabinas in a picturesque, mature, park like setting. With rare direct access to the beach, these Cabinas offer a romantic getaway off the beaten path. A refreshing alternative to the circus like atmosphere of the neighboring town.

We had an amazing day of Surfing with Memo and Julio at Cabinas Las Olas. They were both fantastic and extremely helpful! The beach and the surf were awesome and the walk down to the beach was like something out of a movie. Julio even put us in touch with his sister who recommended an incredible restaurant in Playa Hermosa where we were staying. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

This is the perfect retreat. Very friendly service, high quality food, beautiful spacious cabin. You feel immersed in the jungle and right next to the beach at the same time. Has to be experienced.

We had a great time! Very chill and the staff was wonderful! Julio, Miguel and Memo made our stay very comfortable and I loved Arena,
Julio's dog! She kept me company on the beach while my husband surfed.

Gentle and caring team. Beach is amazing and people there take care of it. Just take care of those who love to steal at the beach. My son learned to surf there and it was awesome. Hope we will go back soon to Cabinas las Olas in Guanacaste!

If you want to chill in Avellanas there's no better place to go. The place is beautiful, the people are cool, the food is great and it's all set to relax.

This place is wonderful, you relax completely it is very quiet, you feel in a paradise and you will return each time you have a chance!

Worth the access from the cabins to the beach by the mangrove through a gateway. It is a spectacular landscape and it seems you're in another world.

After a beautiful walk on the bridge over mangroves … An Amazing sandy beach with 4 different surf level spot! I mean really there you will find everything you need ALL IN ONE! Pura Vida.
