Easy hotel on the tourist category. Leisure and relaxing little houses with view to the volcano. Sourrounded by gardens and birds, even rainy day is considered as beautiful here. Restaurant has great breakfast with typical flavors and staff is very well trained. Services for tours are offered and parking, security etc. Recommended.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained with variety of flowers and plants. We loved that our hotel room was its own freestanding cottage so no noisy neighbors. Dinner on the restaurant was also exceptional!

We saw the volcano clearly from our beautiful apartment unit both days we visited the area. Rooms were quiet comfortable and clean. On site restraunt food fairly inexpensive and great selection. Great great stay.

Clean and comfortable rooms although mine was quite small with no chairs of any kind inside. It's situated quite close to Arenal which makes planning excursions easy. The reception is really helpful if you need help planning or scheduling day trips, getting a taxi, etc.

Cons: — Beds are hard and not comfortable. — Cannot flush towelette paper, must use trash can. — No carpet, everythings tile. — Cabin paths long and winding. Pros: — Beautiful view of the Volcano. — Great food and nice bar. — Most of the staff speaks English. Built for: — In reasonable physical condition. — Likes outdoors or camping. — Nature lovers. — Just need a place to stay — Likes rustic cabins or simple rooms Not built for: — Mobility challenged. — Low to poor physical condition. — Back problems or pain. — Non-nature lovers. — FALL RISK! Verdict: If you want a simple room and some privacy, this is your place. If you even a normal USA style hotel room and cabin look elsewhere.

We went and did not make reservations we were very well attended we stayed in the large rooms very clean has all full gardens many birds up to a bear Perezozo attention and breakfast very cared for. We recommend it.

This was a beautiful little hotel. Depending on your room, you may have a completely detached bungalow with lots of privacy, which is what we got. The room was very clean and cute with lovely high vaulted ceilings. The pool/hot tub area was also clean and well kept. The location was excellent, with views of the volcano from just about everywhere on the property. We only ate the breakfast buffet here but it was acceptable — nothing amazing but it did the trick. Didn't get to try their wood fired pizza. The only complaint I had was the bed was VERY firm which for me resulted in a restless sleep. Staff were all very friendly and helped us book a last minute trip to the Tabacon hot springs. I definitely suggest these hot springs and they seem to be the best in the area because they have their own private river and springs that flow down through a bunch of small pools. Really a beautiful experience all around!

Very nice elegant but at 9 pm you can not laugh because they complain t the drinks are very expensive.

Spectacular! We loved the hotel, the rooms, the pools, the staff… all a luxury that is worth enjoying. Not to mention the views… With the volcano in front. To repeat!

The Hotel is located just outside La Fortuna, but offers a unique View of the Arenal volcano. MIt the Vehicle is within 5 Minutes in the Centre of La Fortuna. The Complex is very spacious and offers many Opportunities to relax and Let nature have an effect on you. The Rooms are very spacious and stylishly designed. From the panoramic windows you can watch the Volcano directly from the Bed.
The Staff is extremely friendly and always strives to make your Stay even better. On my complete Costa Rica trip, during which I had visited 12 different Accommodations, this Hotel was undoubtedly the Best.

This is our second stay at Arenal Volcano Inn for a total of 8 nights. On both visits the rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. The restaurant serves excellent meals and is reasonable priced. They have an excellent spread for the included breakfast buffet. However, it was cold. The grounds are beautiful, including the pool, and offers a great view of Arenal Volcano.

I have just stayed at this hotel during my visit to CR. In general a very good hotel. 1. Location: this hotel is located in La Fortuna de San Carlos, close to the Arenal National Park. It is located a little bit away from the main area of the city, like 3-5km away from the stores and restaurants of the city. It is in a road that leads to the Arenal National Park. 2. Hotel: The hotel is not luxurious, but is very nice, with newer infrastructure, nice pool area, with an excellent view of the Arenal Vulcan. 3. Room: I got one a very ample one, with a queen bed and all amenities you would expect. Very clean and organized, from the room to the bathroom, with a good shower. 4. Internet: reasonable one, reaching 5Mbps Downstream and 5Mbps Upstream. It is important to mention, that I was in a room close to the main building (reception and restaurant). Maybe in the rooms farthest the Wi-Fi could not be that good. 5. Amenities: small pool enough for kids, and the outside area was decorated with plenty of trees, flowers and plants. 6. Food: there is a fair breakfast that was included in my booking, with plenty of hot options like scrambled eggs, omelets prepared at your request, "gallo pinto" (which is a traditional breakfast in CR) made with beans and rice, panqueques, fruits, yogurt, options of cheese and hams, oat meal, and options of breads, salty and sweet ones. There is a restaurant for lunch, dinner and room service, but I did not try them. 7.

It was a very nice hotel. Great breakfast, but the beds were a bit hard. The kids loved the pools.

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. All the rooms face directly at the volcano. A couple of the mornings the weather was completely clear and you could perfectly view the volcano. The rooms were very clean and had a vintage feel to it. I would definetly stay here again.

Great! Environmental good rooms but can directly watch Arenal Volcano is also very good!

Very nice place with a good price (they tried to upgrade us for free but the upgraded room wasn't available for 2 nights, bravo! ). Good and pleasant service. Clean and large room. Good location. Small pull and nice jacuzzi. The main thing to improve was the head of the shower that gave not so pleasant current.
