Excellent place to stay and we had a big room next to the pool 1 king size bed and a single. View from the pool and beach with 🐳 watching just in eye view. Great pool with a swim up cocktail bar and kids pool. Breakfast provided and walking distance to fishing club were you get to meet the locals and short driving distance to Tamarind House for dinner.

Very friendly, the service at the bar was fantastic. Fantastic hideaway place if you don't want to be disturbed… lol. It is a must for me to return back for another peaceful and wonderful time with wonderful people.

Awesome place for a group gathering private and secluded. Bartenders the Vakaporas onto it with the cocktails 😂😜

Staff are very Friendly. Resort is on the beach front and it's also central to everything such as town, market, Muri beach.

Good an friendly staff, pool an beach just right there, club Raro was central to everywhere, town, Muri beach an everywhere else, enjoyed our stay there will recommend to have the reunion there again.

The restaurant. Ordered pizza at 7:15pm, it’s 8:20 and still no pizza! There are only another dozen people in the place!
I’m only a casual diner, god forbid staying here if all the service is so slow!

We have really enjoyed our time here. Fabulous staff, beautiful views and amazing pizzas! The adults only area has fabulous sea views, lovely rooms and great little private patios (where we have spent hours watching the sea and the chickens! )

Absolutely a fantastic resort loved my stay there. The staff were friendly and fantastic. A little gem in paradise.

Absolutely loved staying here March 2019. All staff were amazing! My son (6) loved coming back from our day out to talk to Jonathan with his chocolate milk shake by the pool!

We had a great time August 8th-18th staying here. My kids had an amazing time and the staff were lovely. From bar team, front desk to cleaning team. Thank you all for the great memories and the room was perfect. See you all again soon.

The WORST place I have ever stayed at. I have spoken to two of my friends who said the same thing having stayed there as well. Rooms were disgusting, they also forgot to clean our room and we asked to move as we were right by the lobby with the lights shining into the room. Cutlery was dirty and super rude and unfriendly staff. Don’t waste your money by going here.

Your morning staff was amazing and the environment was definitely welcoming. Apart from the lady security that was extremely rude, told us to move 4 different times when we were a lot quieter than others that were out and not once used please and thank you, everything and everyone else was amazing. … Would definitely come back with the friends we made there. Overall we had an enjoyable stay at Club Raro we enjoyed the amazing views, we loved watching the whales on display every morning. The resort and facilities are in need of a facelift but the friendly staff, amazing food and relaxed vibe compensated nicely. It was handy having Polynesian rentals onsite which made renting a car or scooter affordable and super easy. Our room itself was basic a little tired the bonus was the air con and comfy king size bed … the rooms were serviced daily at no extra charge. My only comment would be the pool is in need of a good clean we didn't see the pump going or pool being cleaned at all during our 5 day stay … however why would you swim in a pool when you have a the beautiful ocean to swim in and enjoy.

Staff are lovely and friendly but the place a bit rundown pool was like soup.

Some staff were not friendly. Some staff were very friendly. Drink prices were good how ever I didn't like how we were handled with our bookings, be prepared to switch rooms a couple times. Genaral manager was supost to come talk to me but never seen her the hole time on a so called holiday. Don't recommend staying.

Evening front of house staff very helpful. The rest is what can be expected from a hotel.

We stayed at club raro for 9 nights and loved every minute of it. Food was great beds were comfortable in our pool side room and the grandkids loved it. Staff are great. Great locaion as was central to everthing. Look forward to coming back. Great price for deal we got.

I stayed at club rare in July 2017. The pictures make it look nicer but it's not too bad. Be careful when booking as I booked from 1st and arrived early hours in the morning and because check in wasn't till 2pm I had to pay $175 nz dollars on the spot for a room for the night and we got a room ato the back in 5he corner by the cleaners storage rooms and wash house which was so noisy from 6am and all the roosters like to hand out there to and wake up nice and early. The staff however were amazing helpful and friendly. And the place was nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was pretty crappie for the price we paid. But the dinners are very nice and a good portion in size.

We loved our stay @ Club Raro 4th — 14th April 2017! we had a small DIY wedding on the 8th April (Vaimaanga) where my husband's whanau are from.
We had a few family members stay @ Club Raro as well they loved it to The Stunning views, Lovely Pool/Pool bar & Eating area, The staff were friendly & more than abliging! The Food was delicious, The Cocktails were Devine made by Our new friend Rhys (Barman). My husband & I will definitely be staying @ Club Raro on our next holiday. We Highly recommend staying here Meitaki Ma'ata.

Facilities are quite run down but cheap and cheerful place to stay with relaxed kind staff.

We loved our stay here, staff ever so helpful, always smiling & friendly. Breakfast was great best ham & mushroom omelette and the Supreme Pizza. Highlight was the pool bar, never missed a day, different cocktail every day. Made lots of friends at the Pool Bar. Thank you all for making our stay enjoyable.

It is good value for the price when compared to better resorts on the island. Also close to Town, $5 for bus or $5 per person by taxi.

Was great to start off with until we had an unwanted experience from a rouge staff member that claimed she was the owner of this resort and wouldn't even refund ($1) because their pool table didn't release all the balls. Anyway long story short, watch out for the fat receptionist who is nothing but fake. Anyway, big thanks to Norm for sorting this out. You rock bro.

Great staff who interact with the customers. The food is pretty good, the place just needs a little renovation like showers and updated aircons. But other then that it is highly recommended to stay in.

I recently stayed here at the beeeautiful Club Raro and I absolutely loved every minute ov my stay. The atmosphere and the overwhelming hospitality extremely friendly and warm welcome as I approached the main entrance. Well Done Co I'll definitely highly recommend this luxurious Paradise x see you all again soon :) :)

If I could I would give club Raro a 10 start but I cant, I loved it it was beautiful the people were lovely they are positive bright people with beautiful service. I love every moment of it the rooms were beautiful. I enjoyed my stay with club Raro and i'll love to stay again.

My wife and I just spent 7 days here. If you want a flash resort with all the trimmings, then this is not the place for you. If you want somewhere that is not expensive, not crowded, not noisy (except for the surf 50metres away from our ocean front apartment) then this is it. Our bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice and modern and clean. And other facilities cleaner than most peoples homes. Tv was poor quality, but you don't go there to watch tv. 9 out of 10 for clean. The pool was good, not large, but then I never saw more than 4 people in it at once. No beach to really speak of, but you could sit looking out over the ocean watching the whales. We saw whales 6 of the 7 days there. Aunty Louisa and the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. I'm a fussy eater, and the food was pretty good. The fruit looked fresh, the cups clean. We only dined in the final night and my meal was very well presented, flasher than I expected and very nice. I'd order it again, so that gets a 10 out of 10. The resort had a very Polynesian feel to it, for me that's important. You don't need to leave NZ to stay in a flash white walled resort, but you do need to leave for great weather. It's better than budget. We'll be going back.

Not too big not too many people nice surroundings perfect for our needs.

The staff were lovely and the rooms were okay (it is what it is when you go cheap) — the bathroom was dated and shower was tiny. The pool area is not that large and we had a couple noisy nights with music blasting until 2am, lots of people smoking and shouting outside. BEWARE of the snorkeling gear… no one rinses them so when you collect them they are covered in mould inside and out. Yuk. The buffet continental breakfast was very sad looking in terms of droopy fruit and dirty mugs, everything was sitting out in the heat… not ideal. I did not want to get sick — some lovely cafes that I would rather spend my money at instead of the dark hot gloomy restaurant. Like I said it is what it is. I just will never stay again and go cheap. We literally just slept and left — the aircon made a massive noise, fan was black with mould and about to fall off… OH AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE BEDS… springs digging into you, the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on.
