We stayed at Makayla Palms from 6–16 March and absolutely loved it. Imai is a wonderfully friendly and welcoming manager who truly goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need.
We stayed in Villa Tia and it was my favourite Rarotonga accommodation. We picked Villa Tia because of the ocean glimpses from the front corner of the villa.
Self check in, and out, but no problem with this. Good, clean room with kitchen and most things you'd need. Small supermarket over the road for essentials.
This is a beautiful resort. The rooms were spacious and the views of the lagoon magnificent. The pool was cool but nice. There is a restaurant attached as well.
Quite and perfect for a family. Located on the south side of the island. Near grocery stores and restaurants. The snorkeling was so fun with the warm water and the abundance of fish.

Fantastic villa, elegantly decorated, well situated: close to beach, shops and Muri. Kitchen and bathrooms exceed expectations! Very private in a beautiful garden setting.
Great accommodation for families. Large section in Muri beach with 2, 3 bedroom houses. One house has been fully updated. Great shops next door. Fantastic hosts, and great location.
