Rendezvous Villas

How you know a place isn't worth your time is when the hosts can't even bother to reply to you in person and just cancel your accomodation request. We've paid far more for accomdation abroad but have always been treated with respect. This place seems to like to ignore any form of communication from the get go which is a red flag. Speaks volumes when a 'business' ignores their potential customers.

Fantastic staff, from the welcome at the Airport to the drop-off at the end of our stay, and everything in between. Idyllic location. Accommodation, facilities and appointments were 4 Star+. Amazing outlook, waking up to the sound of the surf breaking on the reef, and the waves lapping on the sand at tour doorstep. We’d definitely stay again.

My partner and I could not fault anything here! We absolutely loved our accomodation, and would stay here again if we ever do come back to Raro. The kayaks, snorkel gear, washing machine, and hire car just made life here so easy! We really appreciated the Airport transfers, and the small amount of groceries left here on our first morning to get us going. We were super lucky to be able to check in before 2pm, so we had no waiting around once we landed on the island!

This place is fantastic. It's our 11th time to Rarotonga, and this would be the best place we have stayed at. The villa is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The fruit bowl was a very lovely and welcome treat.
The private pool is a good size, unlike some of those teeny plunge pools.
If you are not into the busy resort style accommodation, then this is for you.

We stayed here in Sept 2022, had the best time ever. Best spot and the fresh water pool made it perfect. Great area and roomy apartment.

If your looking for space and location then this is the place for you. We stayed in villa 1 & we had everything we needed for 5 nights. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the ocean was magic, & dragging a kayak a few metres into the pristine water before breakfast was even better. Snorkeling right outside & a pool to have a dip was heaven. There are some things that could be better especially for the price! The moldy pillows that were on the bed along with dusty white decorative sheet above the bed was gross. The guy who was staring at us from the abandoned house behind us was beyond creepy & didnt make me feel safe, especially when we caught him going thru the bins. The shower head is missing its cover, the outside shower head was broken. The bidet was also not working properly. Lights were falling out of sockets and the sun lounger cushions needed replacing. It could do with an update. Definitely bring your bug spray. Some food items were out of date by miles. The hot water stopped working but to Des' credit it was fixed the next day.

Staying at Rendezvous Villa was an excellent choice — from the alluring views to the spacious villa. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and loved going snorkeling a few steps away from the bed room.
The greeting from the airport felt grand! Des was accommodating in all our requests and made this a stress free stay. Special mention to the shuttle driver who was friendly and informative!
Highly recommend this place. My wife and I loved it.

Very good value for money with a spacious open lounge/kitchen, you also get access to kayaks, snorkel gear, and random kitchenette stuff like mosquito coils, blender etc.
Des the owner was really responsive, the heat pump wasn't working and within a day it was fixed. We also locked ourselves out of the villa oops and Des came to our rescue within 20min.
We stayed for 10 nights and would highly recommend a car to travel around the island — it was really easy to hire one as we got it straight from Des at a competitive rate, within a 5min call with him we got the keys and were on our way.
We had no neighbours for the majority, but had company in the sister villa on the last night — we could hear them slamming the cupboards and bass from the TV but this would be expected in any semi attached property.
The villa is serviced every 2nd day, very handy to have fresh towels and the bin emptied. You're in the tropics, bring your insect repellent, don't leave food on the bench or the ants will pounce on it, and take advantage of the private pool for you to jump into after a long day.

We had 8 lovely nights at Rendezous and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are 2 villas and we were in Villa 1. They are both very private and a bonus is that you can swim nudey in the pool and nobody would know. Not ideal to swim out front at the beach but we weren't worried as we did a lagoon cruise and had the pool. The villa is serviced every second day by Susie who does a great job and is very friendly. Met Des a couple of times and was always pleasant and chatty. Sure some people have written a few negative reports on the villas but we had no problems. Everything in the villa was in working order and it was great to have a little fold up clothes line and washing machine/dryer. Also a bonus is having the sea breeze coming into your bedroom at night and if you opened the doors on the other side you got a through breeze. Lovely and quiet. Flies and mozzies are all part of the tropics and you should be prepared. Maybe putting coils into the villas would help too. Other than that a great stay. Thank you Des.

Absolutely incredible! Perfect to relax, enjoy paradise and feel Cook Island vives. The staff is very nice and took care of us during the whole staying.
We spent there our honeymoon and we can’t imagine a better and romantic place to go.
Beachfront houses with private swimming pool, barbecue, kitchen… and washer and dryer.

You practically have a whole beach to yourself yet it's just a short walk to the restaurants & activities at Muri. The villas themselves are spacious and well-appointed and the bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom is bigger than the kitchen with 2 basins set in a large, polished wooden counter and stylish tiles underfoot. Outside there is the choice of the deck right on the beach or the private plunge pool out the front. We were treated to a sensational sunset most nights.

Our return to Rarotonga was totally enhanced with our stay at Rendezvous Villas. The location right on the Lagoon is priceless. These two private villas offer a luxury, private get away! Within walking distance to Muri Beach and the action there but who needs it — you will just want to eat, read, sleep, swim, repeat! At Rendezvous. The attention to detail by the staff is exceptional. Cant wait to return. Xx.
