Wow, amazing from dealing with the amazing staff, helpful and always happy. Shelley is great, what an asset. Great resort and the perfect location, grounds are neat and tidy, and rooms are nice and good air conditioning. The relaxing Atmosphere and the tranquility of the resort is amazing, great quality boards and equipment. Safe parking and the pool was heavenly. Thanks to the team for making, it such a great holiday.

Will definitely be returning to the Muri Beachcomber again! Absolutely loved the location and the tranquility of the quiet Villa. Easy access to two little islands right in front of the accomodation with access to some beautiful snorkel spots. It was great to have access to the kayaks and the paddle boards to make the most of the lagoon. Muri Beachcomber offered a great deck right on the water with beautiful views and a perfect spot for socialising with family and friends. The rooms were well equiped with all the essentials in the kitchenette, a perfect home away from home!

Muri Beachcomber was great! They were really kind to arrange a few airport transfers for us when we went to Aitutaki and came back, and when we arrived in Rarotonga from Hawaii and back. What a wonderful location overlooking Muri Beach Lagoon! We loved taking kayaks over to the little motus with our 4 year old son as well as access to bikes and snorkel gear! Muri Night market was right next door and the restaurant directly across the street was delicious as well. The ladies in the front office were very friendly and helpful, Simon also stopped by to be sure we were enjoying our stay. The pool and beach were awesome. The sundecks overlooking the lagoon were a great place to enjoy morning coffee. The laundry facility was very convenient, and the sailing club restaurant next door on the beach was beautiful and had nice lunch. We really liked our 1-bedroom apartment which had a bed for our son in the living area, a full kitchen which was nicely equipped, and a nice bathroom with all the necessities. The daily breakfast was simple, but nice to have and there was fresh fruit in the front office. We would for sure stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to the Cook Islands one day. 80th birthday celebration for my husband. Very relaxing, quiet beautiful place. Great accommodation. Loved sitting looking out at lagoon and everything happening. Room very clean and tidy great staff. Lots of toys to use in water. Close to food market, great cafes and lovely restaurants. Great value for money.

We had a lovely time staying here in a poolside garden villa. Staff were super friendly, accommodated our extra requests, stored our luggage after we checked out and have a nice room available to use after we checked out while waiting for our flight. Rooms nice, clean comfortable, breakfast pack in fridge with cereal & toast. Location superb right on Muri lagoon. 100% recommend staying here.

We’ve been to Raro many times but our first time to the beachcomber, this time was for a big birthday. Our hosts were fantastic and the staff were great. The location here is amazing, right next to the night markets, excellent cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance and of course the best beach straight off the front of the resort.
We met people who come back to the same resort every year, one couple from Canada were there for their eleventh year!
Our room was serviced to a good level every day, the fridge was restocked and the fresh fruit from the office was beautiful. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay including parking for our car. Great value!

First Trip to Rarotonga and what a grat place to stay. We stayed in the Garden villa which was a delightful. Privacy and lush gardens with the chicks as my neighbor's. Room was a good size with AC. A full kitchen and bathroom and lounge with a t. V. Weber BBQ. Amazing staff and swimming pool for a small dip.

This is our third stay at Muri Beachcomber and it never disappoints. We took friends this time and they loved it as well.
The location is fantastic — right on the beach, close to restaurants and the bus stops right outside. Car hire, activities and a supermarket are also close by and the night food markets are next door.
The pool is nice if the beach is windy but the lagoon is great for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and snorkeling — it’s quite wide here and there are small islands (motu) to visit by water.
The sea view units are roomy and comfortable and the provided breakfast is great.
The kitchen is handy if you want to cook and you can eat indoors or on the patio outside.
Having a laundry onsite helps if you stay a while.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

10 days spent at the Muri Beachcomber and we are super relaxed.
Everything you could want/need is either in the beautiful lagoon or along the road that backs the resort.
We loved every moment.
Three pieces of advice:
1. Do the cross island trek if you are capable. It is not as hard as it is portrayed online and absolutely worth it.
2. Follow the locals to their favoured eating places. Lovely food at good prices.
3. Lastly, but most importantly … ease into the pace of island life as soon as you can. It makes everything so much more enjoyable.

We stayed in an ocean view villa (10). The staff were friendly and helpful with all our enquiries. The location, the view and beach as well as the free facilities (kayaks, snorkel, flippers and goggles) were used and much appreciated. Our room was cleaned each day and our breakfast pack deposited into our fridge each day as well. We loved our stay here and will definitely stay here again on a future holiday.

Thanks for a great stay. Nothing was too much bother for the staff, they looked after us very well. There was everything you need for a great holiday — free use of kayaks, snorkels and stand up paddle boards. Our unit was lovely, just a few steps to the beach, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nice bathroom. We didn't have air-conditioning but an adequate ceiling fan. There's a great pool for windy days and the Muri market right next door. We loved the morning drumming from the boats taking tourists out. The lagoon was beautiful with safe swimming and we got to swim with turtles. I highly recommend Muri Beachcombers… I'll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Muri Beachcomber! Located in the ideal position, close to shops, 24 store, pharmacy, cafes, markets, restaurants and car/scooter hire! Plus right on the beautiful Muri beach.
The staff were lovely, quick on email communication before we arrived (I had lots of questions), and very helpful and friendly on arrival and during our stay.
The accommodation is spacious and equipped with everything you need! Kids loved the pool and kayaks.
Highly recommend, we well definitely be back! :)

Our first time staying in Muri beach as previous visits we have hired villas with extended family else where on the island.
Central to all things in Muri. Good water sport options. Night food market right next door. Car and scooter hire across the road. TEM store has a good supply of beverages😉.
Excellent self contained accommodation. Will be staying here again in the future.

Perfect spot on the picturesque Muri Lagoon. We stayed in a garden villa. Very clean, private, roomy well appointed and equipped villa. Comfy bed and pillows. Easy access to the lagoon with a short walk through the garden past a shady deck that was great for relaxing overlooking the lagoon. Steps down to the lagoon. A complimentary breakfast box provided every day — although basic it was adequate. Fresh fruit available in reception with friendly, helpful staff. Great location with various eateries close by. Could recommend Tapas across the road and Vietnamese/Asian down the road. A laundry room available with free machine & laundry powder. Hope to return.

My friend and I stayed at this amazing resort for the first time. It was just so beautiful overlooking the beach with views that took our breath away! This resort is well appointed with everything provided, staff bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. We were in one of the sea view units which we chose because of the quietness of the area, we enjoyed waking up to sound of the waves and the occasional roster crowing! We will definitely return next year.

This was our first trip to Rarotonga, and staying at the beachcomber didn’t disappoint. We had a sea view unit, which was right on the lagoon. The staff were awesome and friendly, and very accomodating. Breakfast each morning was so helpful. The units are a bit tired, but functional, roomy, cool and clean. The beach comber is next to the markets, on the bus route, and central to tours and local shops, including a small 24/7 supermarket. We will definitely stay here again!

Great stay here at Muri Beachcomber. Resort is well kept, views are amazing & house keeping staff are very friendly. In regard to location we personally think you can’t beat it. Great dining options, cafes, juice bars and right next door to Night market. Lagoon is beautiful but can be abit smelly & snorkelling not great where the resort is but the great part is its only minutes from a Marine park with excellent snorkelling. Amenities/ bikes/ canoes etc all great. We would and hope to definitely return.
