The place is simple and no frills, good drinks. Colombian home food for breakfast and lunch, four different restaurants to choose for dinner. Not a place for entitled Americans, go to Cancun instead, but if you like chill and relaxed atmosphere, this place give you just that. Very comfortable beds linens and air conditioning. Wi-Fi almost non existent so have you carrier plan or just forget it, you are on vacation after all. Cheers to San Andres Islanders!

Excellent hotel! Very nice place! It is very well located. Most rooms have an excellent sea view. The only thing I didn't like, that for dinner in private restaurants, you have to get up very early to book and see that you're lucky to get a place.

Very nice everything. But… Bad experience in the checkin, More than 1hour waiting for the room to be delivered. Low water pressure in showers and alternating temperatures. We should allow guests to put on their own Music with high volume speakers.

Its charm is that the rooms are over the sea, not a new hotel and could be better maintained but I didn't change it for anything. It has a natural pool full of colorful fish. It is located in the center of the city, you can go shopping or stroll along its malecon. A few kilometres away is the beach center where you can spend the day and if you want to have lunch there you must make a reservation but you spend a while there is open bar and hygienic services. You can get there by bus for less than $1

Beautiful place, a dream of the most beautiful. But they charge for Wi-Fi and the games are not for the fruits. The people are very nice and warm.

I was in the aquarium, it has very good location, it is close to Downtown. The hotel shows that it is not very well maintained, our door in the Tower 4 closed badly, so you heard a lot what they talked in the hallway the neighbors and employees and the American style blind did not close well so there was a lot of light in the Morning. The employees in general very friendly, especially the women, some men were somewhat dislocated. The food in general is very varied and rich. The drinks are made with lots of ice and same sodas and water a Lot.

I spent a few days at the hotel and I can honestly say that it’s a 3 star going to 2. They no knowledge of what it’s to treat guest that pay all inclusive package. Old rooms, no brand names drinks or beer. Water taste like waste water. &front desk has no idea how to resolved guest issues. Won’t even think of using any cameron resorts ever again with my family.

Normal rooms. Regular food. Away from the beach. It's not a luxury hotel.
It has a very nice natural sea water pool.

This is a good vacation spot for young families and young singles. Folks looking for something a bit quieter, or more upscale, will be disappointed. The staff smile a lot and work hard to please. But if the guest is even moderately concerned about the condition of the room, it'll be turned off time, as the entire place needs a major overhaul & update. Lastly, Wi-Fi is expensive; unreliable at best & unavailable at worst… Another bright spot is the Entertainment Staff who work tirelessly to engage & amuse guests.

A nice hotel near the downtown of San Andres, has a distinctive architecture based on cylindrical towers over the sea. All rooms has terrace or balcony but the higer levels has better view. Note that each room is 3 guests maximun. The hotel offers 2 bars, 4 restaurants and a nightclub. There is no beach there, but you can go to the two Decameron beach clubs.

For an "all-inclusive" experience it's pretty good. The food is varied, with specialty restaurants on campus to break up the buffet. No beach per se, but a big sun deck with a lovely natural swimming area and freshwater pools. There's varied entertainment a couple of times a day, and there are other Decamaron hotels on the island where you can swim, eat, drink for free as well.

It Is a place with a beautiful view of the sea of the 7 colors of San Andrés. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. It Is recommended to book well in advance in order to get good prices. Excellent.

A few days before traveling I read some negative comments about the hotel, so I was a little prevented, but being there for five nights and six days, with my niece Mariana Marroquín, the experience was wonderful: varied and delicious food, employees Very friendly, the design of the hotel is unique, built inside the sea, which allows to have contact with the sea all the time: although it does not have beach the natural swimming pool that possesses allows to swim and to enjoy the sea, besides the beach is maximum to 10 minutes walking. The pier is a dream where you enjoy the breeze and a spectacular scenery. I would definitely recommend it.
And for the continuous improvement of the hotel I recommend improving the night shows.

It wasn't the old thing. The food is bad. The attention is always careful, the islanders (so they say instead of Sanandresanos) are attentive. But it is a service that delays. The scenery, beautiful.

Broken A/C, broken beds, problems getting the rooms and many areas lack a bit of repair. It also seemed like the rooms were oversold, because some guests had trouble getting a room, even after waiting half a day. Food is decent, most of the time, if a bit lackluster.

It was a disgracefully dirty resort when we arrived and building site when we left, hammer drills and Still saws from 6am till 7pm. We were lied to repeatedly even when booking weeks in advance. I managed to collar the Island hotels (5) manager and he was dreadful. Lie after lie. Turns out the A/C in the dining rooms and bedrooms wasn't broke and requiring a part from Mexico, they decide depending on the season and guest demographics to deliberately turn it off. The staff are kept in check by the threat of being fired. This really is a despicable business putting profits before customer safety or the welfare of their staff. I really hope someone from Decameron reads this as I'm more than happy to substantiate my claims and more in a court of law if necessary. On a brighter note my 2 weeks in this hell hole was broke up by a 5 day stay on the Island of Providencia. And I just can't explain how fantastic this place was apart from the fact that it's the best, chilled, basic, Island in the whole of the Caribbean, which I've been travelling to for the last 20+ years.

Nice place. The food is not very good though. Is also hard to get tables for the different restaurants and you always have to stand in line early in the morning to get the reservation you want (but the food in the other restaurants aren't better). The cleaners were really helpful and so nice. And an extra shout out to IRIS who worked as a waitress! She is the most nice staff and really sweet! Thank you for making our stay so much better with your smile and kindness! Thanks to her I give four stars!

My experience at the Hotel Decameron Aquarium was not very good. In the first place, when we arrived they gave us a room with two beds because the hotel was full. A room with two beds, for a couple going on their honeymoon? It makes No sense. Second if you want to access Wi-Fi service you have to pay, $6000 an hour, until the hotels with fewer stars have free Wi-Fi. We did change the room, but it was because when we were having breakfast the waiter tripped and it fell all the dirty dishes, full of leftovers to my husband in the back, obviously we complain, and that made weight to give us a double room in one of the new towers. If you are looking to spend days with your partner, not the recomiedo, many children all over the place and the activities of the pool quite a few monotonas. The only thing good that the hotel has is the food, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks very good, and also the spirits. To summarize, it seems to me that we pay a lot of money for what is really the hotel. Better look for other options, I think q Bar or up to the rodadero is much better.

I was there 5 6 years ago had a great time down there. Was with a bunch of sucba diver's great awesome dive sites at the time. Best thing of all is at the time you could go to 3 or 4 other hotels anytime and test there food drinks and there la catre restaurants.

Simply amazing, the hotel is located between the sea, the waters surrounding the island are 7 colors and every night the hotel surprises its guests with a beautiful show of dance, don't miss it.

Cannot complain about is super I'm from san Andres and they have not proven the return of the island cave. Morgan is super is super recommend.
