I recently went to a Yoga retreat at Gitano Del Mar with my wife. I absolutely love this place. It is peaceful and serene. The staff is excellent and the food is tremendous. We stayed in the Tree House unit and it was awesome. And we also enjoyed an excellent massage in the massage palace and we practiced Yoga and Meditation in the Yoga facility and on the beach. Nina and Ryan have built something very special here. We highly recommend it!

I stayed at Gitana Del Mar for a yoga retreat. All of the meals were worthy of 5 stars for flavor and artistry! The grounds of the property are maintained impeccably. The pool is beautiful and the entire resort is gloriously laid out out and decorated. You can tell this resort was designed with love and intention to detail. The staff is friendly, courteous, and hard working. I loved my time there and did not want to leave. I Guly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Gitana Del Mar for a stay that was like something out of my dreams❤️

Magic. The food was delicious and creative, every meal topped the last. The beach was beautiful with sunrise and sunset colors, a shipwreck in the distance, an artists paradise. Decorated with large art, the rooms are clean, comfy, the towels and pillows get and A+. The pool was luxurious and beds and hammock around the grounds were so relaxing. There was lounge with books and instruments for guests to use. I loved my stay at Gitana and can’t wait to get back.

Highly recommended and enjoyable. Beautiful natural environment. 8 Bungalows with very good taste and care of the environment, very rich food in all inclusive. The only thing to improve is that at dinners they don't give dessert, very rare. They offer it for sale.

Everything here is quite expensive and the Wi-Fi almost doesn't work at all. But the experiences here are unique.

If you want to have a relaxing vacation, this is the place where you should go. The owners are always around taking care of every detail and making sure you're having an amazing stay. Food is awesome and they have vegetarian options. They have two daily yoga classes (extra cost) and a beautiful set if you want to get a massage. Walk around empty beaches with the company of the two friendly dogs.

Beautiful way to get away from it all. Small resort perfect for a large family to vacation. The rooms are simple. You get a ceiling fan and an "open" bathroom, meaning most of it is covered by roof but the shower isn't (you can shower under the stars with the noises of nature). The resort is hard to find if you don't have exact instructions, but that is for security reasons. When you do find it, Clementina and Agatha receive you with warm greetings and delicious agua de panela. You are a few steps from the beach (that has strong waves, and is not recommended for children or weak swimmers) that is fierce and stunning. The food included with the resort was ridiculously delicious. You get wholesome salads and breakfast, and the best quality fish, chicken, and steak. Gitana Del Mar is also a very short distance away from Parque Tayrona, one of Colombia's gems. To top it all off, there are two resident dogs at the resort, Milu the golden retriever and Mia the gold lab. I highly recommend.

Gitana del Mar is so much more than a gorgeous Caribbean resort, it is an experience that one will never forget! I stayed at Gitana del Mar for a number of weeks and I cannot fault it. From its quality accommodations, its gracious, attentive and friendly staff, the healthy and super delicious food, to its magnificent location — everything about Gitana del Mar was just superb. During my stay I had opportunity to get to know the owners and staff. What impressed me most was not only the environmental consciousness, but the many side projects to give back to the local community. Projects connecting and educating locals with art, sustainability and nutrition education, to name just a few! The energy of the land, where the mountains and jungle just about touch the sea, is something I will never forget. Whether relaxing on one of the many daybeds or hammocks, or enjoying a massage or practicing yoga, one can feel the profound healing powers of the land and sea. If energy and connection to Pachamama is your thing, Gitana del Mar is the perfect place for you. If luxury-meets-jungle sound like your perfect vacation, I cannot recommend this resort highly enough! Gracias por todo, Gitana!
