Almost no water pressure or no water depending on your room, does not look like the photos. We had to cut short are stay by one night and refused any sort of refund.

I stayed for 7 days. It is probably quieter than most because it's a little way away from anything. It does not have a big breakfast menu but the food was good. The Wi-Fi quit in my room, and it was out for 3 days, and nobody seemed to care to fix it. It was still out when I left, but you could go into the lobby and login.

We stayed at the Aurora Hostal in Taganga, Santa Marta, Colombia. The hotel is situated just two minutes from the beach. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our accommodation included breakfast, which was served from 7:30 AM to 9 AM. One morning, we didn’t have breakfast because we left at 7 AM. The next day, when we requested breakfast, my husband asked for an addition of another item (sausages). The staff informed us that there would be an extra charge. We agreed, but upon checking out, my husband asked the young man to adjust the additional charge for breakfast with the one we didn’t have on the day we left early. The young man called the hotel manager, who replied that it couldn’t be done that way. We ended up paying for the extra breakfast (3, 000 pesos) and also for the breakfasts we didn’t consume. My husband jokingly mentioned the rats of the Seine River in Paris. The hotel manager’s handling of this situation left much to be desired, and that’s why I wanted to share this seemingly insignificant but thought-provoking anecdote about hotel service.
