Divanga Hostel and Diving

Our favorite stay in Colombia. Good vibes, good restaurant, decent assistance with excursions, etc… Lovely pool as well. The kitchen is open for all 3 meals, at the same time you can cook yourself. There are some nice hang out corners. Don't expect something fancy, it's very reasonably priced!

Had an unbelievably good experience staying at the Divanga Hostel to complete my open water PADI certification. Lucy the host is so professional and made for a really 1st class experience here. Great food, great Wi-fi and everything else in between. You'll not want for anything! The dive course itself was really well run and Edgar my instructor was flawless. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Really good English and had a really good manner about him. Top guy and top instructor! This is one of the best dive centres out there so don't hesitate to book through them.

Amazing stay at Divanga. The food and service is exceptional and they are extremely accomodating. Throughout our three night-stay, my girlfriend did an Open Water certification and she was really happy with (Super) Mario’s help and guidance throughout. As I already had an Open Water, I was allowed to join my girlfriend’s last session and fundive. It had been some time since my last dive, but Mario was super good at making us feel safe — and the dives were really explorative. I would definitely recommend Divanga for those who want to embark on diving in Taganga or those who just need a really solid place to chill out for a couple of days. Thanks a lot to everyone at Divanga for the pleasant experience!

The payment system is flawed. It was difficult to pay for accomodation and food at the hostel. When leaving, I was overcharged hundreds of dollars. The refund process proved to be shambolic. It took days to organise and significant time to finally attain the refund. The owner was kind to deal with although I could not say the same for the receptionist. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Excellent and safe hostel! Your best choice for staying in Taganga, clean and beautiful common areas, beautiful rooms and really kind staff. I had an amazing stay here and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Taganga and the vibes are great for meeting other travelers. Highly recommend! 😊

We had an amazing stay at Divanga Hostel!
The staff is super friendly and always ready to help with great tips and information.
The hostel has a peaceful, chill vibe, perfect to relax and meet new people.
Everything was clean and well maintained every day.
Make sure to try the breakfast or the chicken sandwich cause the bread is homemade and incredible!

We stayed 3 days, and one day more because we couldn’t leave this place! We met very friendly people there, the instalations are perfect, and the swimming pool is reaaally nice :)
They serve food made with fresh products and love.
All the place give you the envy of doing nothing, enjoy and talk to people <3
The animals also are so funny and cute :)

It's a nice and clean hostel. But the restaurant is expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. And it's a bit far from the Beach, about 10 minute walk. The employees are very friendly and it has a great swimming pool that is heated. And it's very rare to find a hostel here that has a pool.
Also they give you free coffee 24 hours per day, the Wi-Fi is reliable, comfortable beds and real lockers (bring your own padlock). Filtered water is available for free.
Overall I liked this hostel more than Ocean Lovers Hostal.
It was also very quiet during the 3 days I stayed there. There is a sign saying no alcohol allowed (inside the bedroom). So I would not describe it as a "Party Hostal".

A beautiful hostel, very bright and colorful.
Very well located in Taganga on quiet streets, so for people with sleeping problems, where Taganga can be very challenging, you will be spared here.
The common areas are pleasant with hammocks and everything is always very clean. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning.

Best Hostel in Taganga!
My only regret is that I tried several of them in Taganga before landing in the one where I stayed for another 2 weeks! The pool is amazing, the staff is incredible, the restaurant is absolutely delicious, the rooms are super clean and with AC… In short, I really had an unforgettable stay! Thank you so much 🙏🙏

We loved our stay so much we went back for a night a week later. The food and coffee was the highlight but it everything was top notch! We would highly recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing time at this hostel! From here, I did my Advanced diving course with Wayen – such a great guy, super chill, calm, and really professional. He makes you feel totally comfortable, and his knowledge about diving is incredible. Highly recommended!
The hostel itself is also fantastic – the food was insanely good, honestly the best I’ve had in all of South America. The people are super friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable – you can tell they really care. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had such a great stay at Divanga whilst doing our open water PADI course. The hostel itself was really lovely and clean and the pool was very welcome when the weather was boiling! Lucy and her staff were all extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. Would really recommend booking the diving through the hostel as the instructors were amazing and it was really easy to do the pool/classroom learning from the hostel. Thanks for a great stay!

BEST KITCHEN in a Hostel I ever had!
Taganga is that super chilled-palms-sun-ocean-spot you may wanna have on your travels. I spent two weeks there and I had the best time ever.
Super delicious columbian-french-cuisine, nice bar, the best crew, pool, lovely rooms, towels, lockers, cozy beds and a great place to meet new people.
I definitely come back!

This place feels like being at home. The food that is made here is so delicious. Lucy and Lola really take care of everything. The vibe is relaxed and very pleasant. Also the offer of doing a diving course here is really well organized and a wonderful extra. Would definitely come back!

Had food here and it was amazing! Very unexpected from a hostel but the plates were very big portions and great quality/price. We sat on the terrace and the view is super cute not mention the service was great! It’s a bit of a walk, like 10 mins, from the beach but totally worth it! Defo recommend staying and eating here. Pool is also cute!

I stayed for 5 nights because it was such a relaxing place to stay. All the staff were friendly and the food was incredible. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs to wind down and relax. Also close to the beach and everything else.
